It was a zoo today so waiting 1 hour seemed fair enough. Service was mostly pretty good minus a little attitude I got from one of the servers. Cocktails are meh but I guess I should've stuck to the taps anyway, so that's on me. Happy hour is worth trying at least once. We ordered two poke nachos but oddly one had way less toppings than the other. Regardless it was really good. The ahi tuna sashimi was way too salty for my taste so I'd skip that. The boneless wings were pretty basic, no complaints there though. The carnivore pizza also was pretty mid but it got the job done. For the past 13 years, Yard House Belmont Shore has been special to me because it was the very first place my husband and I went on a date. Went here for lunch for a coworkers's retirement. You park in a parking lot after an arm gate. I didn't pay attention to the parking lot or how much you have to pay or if there's a certain amount of time for free after validation. We all sat outside. Service was good. Food was ok. First time at this location.... Late night dinner party of 3. We arrived at about 11pm. There was no wait and we got seated right away at the High top tables near the bar. Came here on a Wednesday night and the place was pretty busy but not a long wait. We waited less than 10 mins for a table for 4. Our server Sam was nice and friendly. We ordered the sesame seared ahi tuna, fish and chips, the Thai pork chop, and the enchilada stack. The food took about 20 mins to come out but we took less time to finish it all. This spot is located at the shoreline village so theres parking just dont forget to validate your ticket. And if you parked at the pike parking structure (like i did) they dont validate so go to famous daves or chilis to do so. Came around 1:30pm on a friday w a party of 4 and not long of a wait. Ten minutes, he stopped to bring us water and get out order. The ordering tablet did not work, he took our order manually at around 315p. We ordered Nachos, Pizza and Calamari. It took 30 minutes to get our drink order and I ordered only a beer. My friend, ordered a Margarita took another 10 minutes after that. Nachos arrived at 415p, pizza at 430p and still missing the calamari. At 445p, at that time we were pretty full and thought about canceling the calamari. Shortly after at 505p calamari arrived. I understand short staffing from server and kitchen staff so we did not make a fuss. My bff and I were there to enjoy the afternoon and not in a hurry. Our server, Miguel V. did a wonderful job updating us about our order and almost apologetic regarding the wait and phasing of the orders. But this experience left us a bad impression that we are probably going to think twice about coming back. No complaints about the food, they were prepared fresh and delicious. Sometimes it don't want to overthink dinner and then old comfort spots are handy. We came in for NYE dinner to grab some nibbles early in the evening and our timing was perfect. The place was hopping, as it usually is, being in a touristy sort of place, but you know there's plenty of locals here, too. What I really appreciated was, even though I think of NYE as a holiday, as did a couple other restaurants in this area, YardHouse did not. They honored HH bites and pricing. Since we were just looking for nibbles, this was perfect. Hubs went with the pepperoni pizza and I chose the calamari and sliders w/small fries. I also can't say no to their delicious, cold ON TAP cider, but did manage to remember I'm not in my 20s anymore, so I opted for the pint and NOT the yard. It was a very big challenge! (Fond memories of that yard long cold cider....) All the food was served hot and tasty and we were well cared for from the hostess to our server, to the food runners and bussers. They now have a semi-automated system of ordering at the table, but for us Old School folk, the staff was attentive and checked on us and kept orders up to speed so we didn't have to bother with that. Honestly, I think of the 'puter on the table as a means to ending in-person service, staff cuts and budget savings for corporate. Aside from that, I'm not sure how often those screens are sanitized and, being a food situation, this gives me the icks when I see them on the table. People can be - and are - nasty, y'all! It's a really cool location -- the patio overlooks the marina and passing ships, which gives the place a great vibe and atmosphere. This was my second time eating here, and I actually like the food better than the Yard House locations I'm used to in Orange County. The quality and flavors really stood out. That said, we were seated outside this time and the service was lacking. We had to walk up to the server multiple times just to get assistance, which took away from the experience. We came here during Happy Hour (3pm - 6pm weekdays) and ordered a lot of food because it was 1/2 off apps. It was a busy day because there was a convention and it was March Madness. There's plenty of screens with all the games going on and you get a good view of everyting. For the food we mostly ordered apps and pizza. I liked the sliders and fries, the spinach dip and chicken tenders and the carnivore pizza. It's a lot of fried food and carbs, but it was good. Our server was really great and friendly. I'm a local and honestly haven't popped into the ORIGINAL Yard House for a bit. Came in on a rainy January day with some out of town folks. It was a busy place! Yard House offers an eclectic menu offering both seafood and beef, providing lots of options. I had the refreshing and high protein Poke Salad which was fresh and delightful. The others checked out the Tortilla Soup (creamier and perhaps a bit too creamy) and the Shrimp Salad. My Poke Salad was satisfying but I think my male companion eating the Shrimp Salad could have eaten more. However, the calories are right on the menu! I miss Yard House in Portland! We were in California for a cruise, and stopped in here for a drink. I cannot stress how extensive their beer list is - it borders on ridiculous - in a good way. We weren't hungry but our 9 year old was. He opted for the steak and fries. It even came with a drink - he chose milk. It was cooked perfectly, and he ate every last bit. This may sound fuddy duddy, but stick to a pint and skip the lure of the half yard. It seems cool until you want to drink it. It's very tall. Also watch out for the "glug glug" point - once you're there, the beer is coming back for a fight if you don't tip the glass right. We got the queso dip, tasty, lots of tortillas included. I got two tacos - the shrimp and fish - good, but at $9+ each I couldn't get over the sticker shock. The dessert was a brookie! I'd never heard of it before, but here has it been all my life!! A brownie and a cookie mixed together... where have you been all my life! I think it's best to come earlier in the day because at night it gets pretty crowded, even the parking lot. I usually have good service here. Seating is offered indoors and outdoors. There are high tables, regular tables, booths, and the bar. I like being seated outside so that I can have a view of the boats and people watch. There are umbrellas and heaters outside. My go to is definitely the nachos, lobster garlic noodles, and the filet mignon. I tried a coco passion drink for the first time and it was really good. It's an alcoholic beverage but tastes sweet and very much gives vacation vibes. It reminds me of a piña colada, but not blended. I will definitely be back, thank you! read more

They have happy hour M-F from 3:00-6:00pm with 1/2 off select apps and all pizzas and $2 off all beer, wine, spirits and cocktails. They also have a late night happy hour Sun-Wed from 10:00pm-close for drink specials only. Their calamari and poké nachos are my fav and for beer I like ordering their silly, stupid sour (yes that's the real name and I do feel like a silly goose ordering it). First, asked for patio seating and we were initially taken to a dark corner. Had to wait again to get table in patio. Ordered cocktails, appetizers, and salads. Cocktails were good. Salad came out, roman lettuce requested, it was all white, did not look appetizing nor taste good. Asked waiter to return, and his response was interesting. The manager returned with what looked like a fresh green new salad and said " I made this myself". I started to toss the new salad to fin md all the white lettuce still in plate. I removed it and it filled a appetizer plate. Definitely was not a new salad, more like a fluff salad. I did not feel comfortable eating the salad. I asked to return and remove from bill with not a very friendly response. The overall experience left me thinking I will not be back. The views are pretty good at this location and we got to catch the sunset which was really nice. Food was OK for sports bar food. The location is spectacular! It's right on the wharf near the Pike Outlets. There is parking nearby and a couple of parking structures as well. If you have a boat, there is also a marina nearby to park. There are other quality restaurants and businesses nearby making this a very active area. We sat outside on the patio. The views of the sunset hitting the ocean were incredible. Near the evening, it got a bit cold outside so they turned on all the heaters to make the outside more comfortable. The service was immaculate. Our server came by multiple times to ensure we were well fed, warm, and doing okay. We sat in a large party and our food was still able to come out quickly, I'd say in about 15 minutes. The food was delicious. They have that same Yard House flavor that is just tasty. The onion rings were crunchy and warm. The pizza was packed full of flavor and cooked to the exact temperature. The portions are about average for a restaurant.
