We happened to find this gem of a restaurant. First off we're sat down quickly. Our server was on her game big time! Very welcoming, efficient and professional. Got our drinks, etc really quickly. Got our order in; answered our questions and made things happen. Received our food. At first I thought the amount of hash browns were a bit small in portion, but in actuality, it was perfect! I had asked for extra sautéing of my veggies-- and the cook did exactly as I requested! Really happy! Tasty and satisfying! We also noticed as people came and went how fluid our server was at cleaning the tables thoroughly getting things in order and still taking care of all her customers! She truly is a gem of an employee. We think the owner also was very involved in making sure all was taken good care. There is good outdoor seating which we enjoyed. Was a cute spot to visit before our soccer tournament. The food was delicious . The breakfast board was awesome and fed three of us. My son got the waffle breakfast sandwich and it was huge so recommend sharing to taste a little of everything. Service was on point and very friendly. I've been wanting to try this spot for a while, then COVID hit. Finally made my way there for breakfast on a Sunday morning. They had seating outside, and it was nice and shady. I got the biscuits & gravy, it was DELICIOUS!!! A good sized portion. The waiter was very nice, and attentive. They had hand sanitizer and the staff was wearing masks. This is my FAVORITE breakfast spot in Oceanside! During Quarantine, I'll order online and do carside pick up. The Quality of the food is ALWAYS great! Last weekend, I decided to dine there since I had a few important things to do that day. The waiter was great but I was also very impressed with Ivan who was pouring the drinks. Ivan was the person who led me to my seat and prior to taking a seat, I asked Ivan if I would be getting my food in a timely matter since I had to go out of town for a few hours and it was important that I make it to my destination ahead of time. Ivan was so understanding and assured me my food would be getting to me in a timely matter. I told Ivan I was ready to place my order and he went to grab the waiter. Sure enough, the food made it to me in a timely matter while still maintaining the quality and great taste. Sat down. Opened napkin wrapped utensils. Big food stain. I mean. Come on people. When I saw the big food stain in my napkin around the utensils, I was supposed to use. I'm not a seven year old child that wants children's portions. The food was good. It was very good quality just very very small. my son ordered the chicken and waffles. It was just one large, Belgian waffle, broken into four pieces, and then one very thin chicken fillet cutlet deep-over deep-fried burnt a little. I mean one of the five I'm gonna give this a one or two , just based on their pricing .... you can get the same quality food at Denny's for almost half the price. And they had way too many older men. My boyfriend and I had driven by this places MANY times and finally decided to stop by and try the place out. First, we got sat right away, which was great cause we were starving! We waited for our server (guy server) and ordered our drinks. My bf ordered pineapple juice and a water and before I was going to tell the server my drink order he started walking away. I had to call him back to tell him what drink I wanted. It was weird that only my bf had ordered and wasn't even going to let me order, but anyways we got our drinks and it was fine. Until my bf tasted his juice and our server brought him apple juice instead of pineapple juice. The apple juice wasn't good either. It tasted like sour apples or something and was pretty bad. My bf didn't drink the juice cause it was gross and just ended up sticking with his water. Then, we ordered our food where, again, the guy server was all over the place. My bf ordered the Rancheros Breakfast Plate and I created my own omelette. We got our food in a reasonable amount of time, which was good. My bf said the rancheros was good and that he was glad he ordered tortillas with it. I had a few issues with my omelette plate, which had only bacon, cheese, and avocado on the omelette itself and then had a side of potatoes and sourdough toast. First, the bacon was NOT cut into small pieces like normal. There were WHOLE pieces of bacon in my omelette, which made it really difficult to eat and cut. Second, the potatoes were not good and even after salt/pepper I couldn't eat it. Honestly, they tasted like bland, boiled potatoes with little raw ham pieces and whole onion slices. Third, our server went to refill my Sierra Mist with water and I had to tell him that it was a soda in which he replaced my drink. Overall, the food was average. If food was refined a bit and dialed in, then I probably would have had a better experience. Unfortunately I don't know the guys name who served us, but he was not good. He was frazzled and missed a lot of our orders. He needs to be trained properly and have more confidence with customers. read more

Wow! My husband took me here for a birthday breakfast. We LOVED our meals (banana French toast and a California omelet). We will definitely come back! Our server added a little candle to my French toast for my birthday and was very understanding about our two-year-old who was a bit noisy- she put a kids' cartoon on one of the tv's for her. We had a great experience and enjoyed living local here.... oh!!!! And you HAVE TO try the hash browns. Wouldn't recommend if you have a pet with you. Says pet friendly but only have two tables outside and doesn't look like they care enough to put out a few more tables in the patio area. They refused my service dog the waiter was extremely disrespectful to me the food looked awful and the place had a odd smell to it to begin with so I'm glad i didn't stay the guy had the most awful attitude towards me my dog always has his best on and all your customers asked to talk to my dog your weirdo waiter is the only one that had a problem with my dog that did have his vest on and even you invited me back in but I said no because of how the waiter insulted me. This was my 1st visit. The waitress with the beautiful curly black hair made my morning and gave excellent service from the beginning to when we were done. Tried this place out as we noticed it's new and close by. Has been open for 4 weeks per our server, and we will wait a bit longer before visiting again. I got the Chilaquiles verdes and will say I will not be getting that again. The sauce tasted like it was straight out of a can as it was sour and had no taste. The beans where egh! We did get a side of French toast which was good and would get those again. We also ordered the Mechaca with chicken and it was lacking flavors. The chicken was bland. Ordered chicken nuggets for the kids and they were like the nuggets from a school cafeteria back in the 1980s .. horrible .. I didn't even know they sell those anymore ? I ordered the salmon, which was cooked ok but bland and the veggies with it were bland .. not the best dish.
