Going to give them a little knock on the Brussels sprout: they seemed a little mushy and a couple of them were ice cold in the center so they obviously were microwaved. I won't hold it against them because the rest of the experience was nice. One other knock is that they don't open until 4:00 pm every day. This is kind of unheard of in a casino. Where do I start... this establishment is in the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Laughlin. It has unusual or non existant hours. We checked every day and we finally connected on Thursday night at 9pm...30 minutes after their stated closing time.....imagine that! I ordered a beer from a nearby brewery and it was skunky, out of date. I tried another and finally settled on a bottle beer, what a disaster. We ordered the smoked wings for 17.99 and received 6 (six) small dry wings. They tasted ok and should for 3 bucks a piece. No ambiance what-so-ever, dead, dried up, and out to pasture. I am not sure where any of these bad reviews are all about. I have eaten here 4 times and each time has been better than the last. The wait staff and bartenders are kind efficient and knowledgeable. We haven't been in the area for over 5 years and we wanted try something new, not very familiar with the area and what would be a good meal, saw this place on google and pictures looked amazing. We went in and the waiter took a little long to get our drink order but we didn't mind. We ordered our food and had some brussels sprouts. Not much to my liking they were not that good but too much soy sauce and teriyaki sauce for my liking order a burger and it was smaller than a cheeseburger from McDonald's extremely disappointed got the Friday special boiling crab for $25. I went here before a concert and it was amazing! We got the smoked brisket sandwich (10/10) fish and chips (10/10) & the burnt ends (12/10). I would absolutely make this a "go-to" spot anytime I'm in Laughlin. Our server was great and there are quite a bit of tv's to watch football. Who would of thought that such a fine looking place could be smack dab in the middle of a decent casino, but almost run down hotel? It's almost too pretty to be in a place that is in desperate need of a makeover. Came here two weeks ago during Memorial Day weekend cause after a long day, nobody wanted to go too far and boy was it a good choice! The fam bam pretty much ordered one thing off the menu and we shared each other's apps and plates: onion rings, wings, fish and chips, pizza, a chicken sandwich. ONION RING TOWER ($10): Very well done onion rings, lightly breaded and beer battered I think, tossed in parmesan cheese and some kind of sriracha mayo drizzle, I loved the crispiness of the batter, which kinda reminds me of tempura because it was so light. But if I'm going to be perfectly honest, tower my ass! The fat boy in me wished the "tower" was taller or had a twin at least because there was only about 8 rings total, especially for this price point. WINGS ($12): Smoked, order of 6, with your choice of buffalo or BBQ. Wings were perfectly fried, tossed in just enough buffalo sauce to know that it was there. Not much to say because they were good. Not enough to really brag about, but just enough to order again on a future visit. Wished they had them in lemon pepper and other sauces. Also, at $2 a pop when doing the math, I wish my alitas would have been on steroids and been just a tad bigger. FISH AND CHIPS ($17): Not sure what kind of fish it was (maybe cod?), but this white fish was crispy, the batter had a good seasoning and whatever tartar sauce they used was delicious. If it wasn't made in house, I'd be totally surprised. Either way, I was kicking myself in the ass because I didn't ask. Oh yeah, the chips, aka fries, were nice and crunchy too. PAPA DON'S MEAT LOVER PIZZA ($19): The Papa Don's Meat Lovers had mozzarella, meatballs, bacon, pepperoni and Italian sausage and was a very decent pie. A bit pricey for what is supposed to be an individual size pizza but can easily be shared, but well worth it due to it being a well executed (cheese was ooey and gooey and crust was cooked all the way through, bottom had a slight char/crisp) pizza on this particular night. GLEN'S GOLDEN KNIGHT ($15): Grilled chicken breast sandwich with bacon, lettuce, tomato, smashed avocado (NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH GUACAMOLE) cheddar cheese and garlic aioli served on a telera roll. Okay, tasty sandwich, but the telera and cheddar didn't work for me. Cheddar was boring if I'm being honest. Swiss, gouda, epper jack or even a piece of lightly grilled and almost melted mozzarella or panela would have worked better. And that "telera" seemed a tad too thick, yet not wide enough at the same time to be a true telera, if that makes sense. It had the consistency/density of something closer to a hoagie roll. In this case, grilled sourdough or even one of those giant cheddar ciabatta breads might have worked a little better. Last but not least, I had a michelada ($15+, I forgot how much it cost) that was OUTSTANDING! It was GINORMOUS! Served in one of those giant margarita or ice cream sundae bowls/glasses, made with their house made michelada mix. PERFECT! I didn't have to add anything and the only reason I'm not bitching about the price is because the drink was probably equivalent to about a tall can, so it was reasonable. Another drink of note was called a Las Vegas Raider something and it was basically an alcoholic ice cream shake that had peanut butter and chocolate and some of that Skrewball peanut butter whiskey in it and OH EM GEE!!!!! I'd get it again! Overall, I'd definitely come back to try other things on the menu, especially their microbrews. They have flights for like $10 or $15 so if beer is your thing, I'd highly recommend you come here on your next trip to Laughlin! It is a tad bit pricey, like Vegas strip pricey, but it's worth it. You could always be boring and eat at In-N-Out or McDonalds your entire stay if you want, but I'd say splurge a little and come check out the Brew Brothers! read more

Are here on Tuesday night, 8/1/2023. Very clean, not very busy, there was only about 7 other parties while we were there. They had a limited menu. I got a green chili burger which was delicious, the brew Brod sauce was great, husband got the macho nachos. We thought portabella and pepperoncini was a little weird for nachos, but they ended up being amazing. The machaca was flavorful and the chips were fresh and crispy. Definitely the nachos! This is a restaurant where paying customers are not of importance. Came here on vacation with friends and decided to watch the bengals vs ravens game here. Sat at the bar, ordered food and drinks and asked if they could switch one of the tvs to the football game. The bartender said he could do it but the supervisor gets mad. We asked to speak with her and without hesitation says she's not changing it. Then goes on to say the programmer is the only one who can change it. The bartender had just told us he could so she lied. No one but us are watching the tvs since we are the only ones at the bar. The Brew Brothers at The Tropicana is a good pub style spot with great service and good food. Tried the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with the BBQ sauce on the side and fries. Was really elegant how they twisted the bacon around the knife BUT I had to send the bacon back to spend more time on the grill as it was not cooked. Once that was taken care of the burger and fries were good. I also tried a Golden Lager Munich Helles from Four Peaks Brewing Co...what an exceptional beer. We watched 2 other couples show up and get served while waiting for our server to provide initial contact. I asked if there was a reason guests that were seated after us were being served first and got no response. Normally I didn't give a low review unless it was really horrendous. We were staying in the Tropicana and decided to grab dinner on Saturday night at 9:30pm. The restaurant closes at 10p which is so crazy to me since that weekend there were football, baseball, and soccer tournaments going on. Super weird but okay... let me have two crispy chicken sandwiches with fries please and some to go Boxes. As soon as it came it boxed it up and called my kids to come get it. It's bad enough they charged $15 for a chicken sandwich and fries I'm not paying another $3 per meal for take out. The remaining people in our party ordered the following. Plain smoked wings, nachos, chicken salad, grilled chicken sandwich, fish and chips. We also had a few beers and some fountain drinks. My kids food came first and it was hot the fries were good however my daughter said the chicken sandwich was just ok ‍. No seasoning or anything. The best thing about my nachos were the fresh avocado on it, it also came with grilled portobellos, cheese, some kind of beef machado and banana peppers. After I sat and pulled off all the peppers it looked like they put the entire jar on my plate. It also lacked meat I dug and found at most 1 forkful that could cover two chips. I even brought this to the attention of the server and he said " there's meat right there on your chip" and I said ....sir that's all the meat in the entire plate of nachos ‍ and he walked away. Everything was amazing from the second we walked in. First time here and our server, Christian, was so helpful. He asked our taste and recommended things. I went with his recommendation the chile hatch burger and it was amazing. My boyfriend loved his BBQ cheeseburger as well. The onion ring tower was perfect. My husband and I dined here in July and had a good time. The food I ordered was delicious, so I was happy to go back with my family and friends to discover this new Laughlin gem. Regrettably, we did not have a chance to eat there nor will I try to in the future. We had a "large" party (7 people) and were told they could not accommodate us since they closed in an hour and a half but the wait would be 2 hours. We understood ... until they seated a party of 12?!?!?!! We had put in our reservation before them and also asked the same of the host (to add 2 people we did not expect making our party of 5, 7) Apparently our request was why the "host" gave us the explanation above and yet he sat the party of 10 that became 12 while we were still standing there trying to figure out another place to eat and overhearing the entire conversation with the other party. Truly disappointed. I can only assume why... but I'd rather not go there in my thought process and will choose not to be a patron of this establishment. My bf had been wanting to try this place since he's such a beerie (foodie, but with beer). He ordered burnt ends and a flight. I ordered a burger & the chocolate on stout. The flight was good. You can't really mess that up. My beer was awesome. The burnt ends were made from the wrong piece of meat (he's also a grill/smoker genius), and were either completely fatty or no fat at all. If you know anything about burnt ends you know both are totally wrong. Honestly, they were inedible. They were really just gross. My burger was good. It had hatch chiles on it, which I love. I asked for medium rare and got medium well/well done, so I wasn't thrilled. We told the manager about the food, and she was a little apathetic. I will say the food was really good, but the service was pretty bad. The host was trying to sit us in the corner when they had plenty of open tables, when we requested to sit in the middle of the room, she rolled her eyes lol. We also had to ask multiple times for refills. Another thing, they charge for sides of ranch. I would understand if I requested for a bucket of ranch lol. This place has a lot of potential. They will only do it at the high tops which are 21 & over, but not regular tables. Either way the mngr was not friendly/helpful at all.
