ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE, or should I say "lack thereof". Walked into the restaurant, no hostess to seat us and was told to seat ourselves. Sat down at a booth only to be purposely avoided for 20 minutes without any sort of greeting whatsoever (not the first time this has happened). When my wife decided to express our displeasure, they pretty much blew her off and stated that it was going to be a 45-minute wait food anyways. Seems to be a trend at this restaurant, disappointing, terrible service, rude interactions and just flat out pathetic dining experience. For an establishment like this to act the way they do on a continuous basis, the same as described by many other reviewers is ridiculous. Won't be returning again, but, my guess would be that's exactly what this establishment wants, fewer patrons coming in and why not, what restaurant is in the business of making money? read more

This place is terrible. I've been there twice. Sad that a guy like Mikey Redmond is involved with it. I went opening weekend. Thought it was kind of expensive and the drinks were watered down and nasty. We had to pay $5 each to get in but they said there would be $5 off our bills. Then I went back a year later. They told me they didn't have a regular Bloody Mary but something with clam juice. It was once again watery and the clam taste just wouldn't leave me so I couldn't even try to enjoy my dinner. Again very expensive and not a whole lot of portions. Other things on the menu were not the usual ways of making certain dishes. Everything I had was luke warm and microwave tasting. Others in my party said the same thing. I've had a few friends and family members who told me they had the exact kind of experiences there. I don't know how they can stay in business. read more

I visited Broadcast Booth this past weekend. I have been to this restaurant many times in the past and the food was good. The serive was never great but the food made up for it in the past. This particular time, I have to say it was the worst food and service we have ever received. The restaurant was not busy so that could not have been the reason. We ordered a spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer. It came with our meal instead of as an appetizer. Then, the bowl was filed with a yellow oil about 1/4" above the dip. I asked the waitress to get us a new one, she came back with same bowl and said she just drained the oil out. Sounds delicious doesn't it? I understand a spinach artichoke dip will be somewhat greasy but this was disgusting. Neither of us ate it. Same went for the chicken quesadillas I ordered. The tortilla was dripping with grease on both sides. It was not crispy whosoever because it was dripping in grease. I took one bite and pushed it to the side of the table so the waitress could see I ate nothing. She forgot several items we asked for during our visit. She came to the table once to give us what we requested at the end of our visit and then took over 10 minutes to get our bill. I am from Allen Park and currently live in Dearborn Heights. I am proud to support my hometown local businesses. The service and especially the food was horrible. I will most likely never go back to Broadcast Booth which is unfortunate. read more

Just got a carry out from this shit hole -- called it in an hour ago, when I got there they told me they forgot to send the order in then someone comes from the kitchen saying the food is up and then comes back 15 minutes later finally with the food. I get home and everything except the meal I was waiting for was cold and just horrible. Called back up there and the guy that answered the phone laughed and continued to tell me my food wasn't cold. 60$ on carry out. This place is a fucking joke. read more

The menu is deceptive at best, blatant false advertising at worst. First of all the high-and-tight sporting, overweight owner and his wife both tried to argue that the specials that say "all day, everyday" were happy hour only. When confronted with the menu AND the table ads (that both say "all day, everyday") they tried to argue that the 14oz beer I ordered was actually 16oz and therefore nor eligible for the "special". The difference was $1.25... Per beer! This is all hidden until you pay. The old kansas city shuffle. This guy's a snake. I'd avoid this place unless you like to be cheated. read more

Service was very good, ordered the medditerean pizza, it wasn't bad but it also wasn't that good, the menu was all over the place they have gumbo and chicken Marsala , to pizza, ribs and pasta dishes. I was watching some of the food coming from the kitchen and I gotta say it reminded me bit like hospital food. Cant say it might of tasted better then it looked. The place wasn't very busy for a Saturday night. Maybe revamping the menu would be a good idea with better fresh options. The server named Chris was way talkative to the point where we couldn't even look at the menu. Apparently the steak on the special listed for $27 which was smaller than the one listed on the regular menu for $19. According to Chris, the prices were false. The steak was apparently fresh but defrosting. Then ordered a Cob salad due to lack of time and the chicken was undercooked. Once we confronted Chris again he became rude and defensive. No manager approached us or removed items from the bill. A woman near us waited at her table for 15 minutes and was never served and on her way out she told us to enjoy the frozen steak. Chris repeatedly came to the table awkwardly and with rude glares and sly comments. This place is awful and has no sense of customer service. I highly advise to never go this overpriced, rude restaurant. Surprised they aren't out of business yet. read more

I have been here 4 times, 3 of which was to kill time for a drink while we wait for a seat at Moro's. Even sitting at an empty bar the service is still somehow almost non-existent. This place is almost always empty, myself and fiancé went here with another couple one night. It was about a half hour before the kitchen closed, and we asked our server( probably the second time we saw her all night) about putting in an order. She said, "our kitchen is about to close, but, like, Taco Bell is good." I thought she had to have been joking but she was completely serious. I ordered a bucket of beers. There was literally a small handful of ice. I asked her if we could get more ice so the beer doesn't get warm and she acted like it was the BIGGEST inconvenience. read more

Awful experience! They changed their menu and NOT for the better! We called the manager over because our food was practically inedible and all we got were excuses!! She did finally end up taking one of the dinners off the bill but not before we listened to her try and justify the reason why the food took so long and tasted the way it did. She was dressed in a raggedy old tshirt and shorts and was very unprofessional in how she looked and handled the situation. The only positive thing I can say about this experience is our waitress was beyond amazing! She was attentive and understanding of our complaints about the food and did what she could to make it right for us. Maybe she should be in charge! What a joke. Nobody else was waiting for a table when we walked in. Server wanted to put us at a two person hightop crammed next to the bar. I asked for a booth. There were two booths open right next to us and the idiot with no personality refused to seat us there and then walked away! Didn't offer us any other options even though there were empty tables. Are you kidding me? What a horrible way to do business. I live in Allen Park and will NEVER go back and will NEVER say a good word about this place to anyone. Met there for prearranged gathering. Tried to park by building, noticed sign saying "Broadcast Booth patrons must park at city parking, all others will be towed" Didn't know where city parking was, drove to find place with no sign. One waitress for 25 patrons. She was very good, however, people got their food at all different times, even at the same table one person would be finished when the person next to her was just getting food. It was warm when we first went in, but shortly many of us had to put are coats on because we were freezing. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it and I don't intend to return. read more

The food has been excellent all three times I have eaten there. I got the Greek Burger and the meat was particularly good. The feta cheese and black olives added an unusual, but very good, touch. We had several friends in from out of town and we had been to the Broadcast Booth before and it had always been decent. Everything went bad from the start, the server Geoff was very sarcastic and sometimes rude. The food was terrible, not just one of the plates but 3 of the 4 dinners were burnt, dry and just not appetizing. We were the only ones in there and at 10:30 they told us to leave they were closing and they were quite rude about that also. With so many friendly restaurants around with spectacular food I think this will be our last visit to the Broadcast Booth. read more

Service is slow. Food is hit or miss. Sometimes it is hot, sometimes not. Sometimes the sandwich comes as described in the menu, sometimes they have omitted or substituted things out because they don't carry it anymore (avocado is always out and they charge you to sub guacamole that is premade) the pizza is the only thing I have ever ordered that is always decent. Got a skunk beer once and the manager called me a liar, refused to smell or taste it. Replaced it with a tap beer (that I also paid for) and then threw me out for bothering him. Don't complain, don't sit too long even if the game is on, because management is none too friendly. read more

By far my favorite sports bar, a great place to watch a game but quiet enough that you can still have a conversation. The food is terrific; large portions and a good value for what you get. A good selection of about 40 bottled beers and dozen or so on draft. Three big TVs right above the bar, lots of pool tables, bubble hockey and a foosball table near the door. read more

How this place stays open is a total mystery. Never busy but service takes forever and is rude. The food is at a level beneath prison chow. Steaks are rarely available and the wait for them to thaw and then finish cooking is ridiculous. Dirty plates, glass and silverware, horrible bartenders and drink selection. As others have stated, expect to wait for service here. But on the upside, the food is excellent! To get you started, the chicken bites are great choice and you get so many you really could order them for your meal. For the main course their burgers and pizza the one of the best tasting I have had by far! The herb chicken stuffed with cheese and roasted red peppers and Jamaican jerk pork chops are also stellar. For your side you absolutely have to try their Mac and cheese made with cavatappi noodles and Gouda cheese then topped with breadcrumbs and baked until gooey and golden brown. Finally, to end the meal off right order the triple chocolate cake. You get a massive slice of chocolate cake with layers of chocolate frosting and topped with a thick slab of chocolate ganache! Yum! When they arrived and tried to order a steak the waitress replied " oh we don't have the fillet" that we advertise on line. " we have one Sirloin steak and a few T-bone steaks.
