I had a blast here for two reasons: the burgers are excellent and the emphasis on baseball could not be more enthusiastic, particularly at divisional playoff time. It helps that I love baseball, of course, but there is something in the air here that is wonderful. This is my kind of place: the staff is salt of the earth; the welcome is real; and the burgers and fries are superb--perhaps the best burger meal I've ever had at a restaurant. The Bronx Burger House boasts a huge menu with classic pub fare and a few outliers. We were excited by all the speciality burgers they make, so we showed on a Friday night and this place was poppin'. We had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated, but the food was worth it. We ordered burgers, chicken fingers, and fries and everything was solid. The service was also surprisingly attentive, given how many people were eating there at one time. The outside of the building is super adorbs and the inside gives me classic TGIFriday's vibes but with the flair toned down to 7 or a 8. Would definitely eat there again. read more

This great burger Join in the BX is not a disappointment its just normal. The food is great and prices are very reasonable. We had the pony burger and the lamb burger. These are huge and contain lots of meat. Its actually under $10 for a burger and fries. You cant get that at a sit down place only at a fast food joint. These burger are good, i mean really good but why only 4 stars, well it should be 3.5 1.- Unlimited drinks for Brunch, say the bartender pouring champagne to make the mimosas and her finger was in the bottle tip the entire time. EWK give me a beer instead. Decided to order the Sangria and it was super bad, water-down juice with fruits inside. 2.- Its a cold day 5 outside and the parking lot next to their building its not theirs. I was told it always happens, so why don't you put a sign that says its not yours to your patrons. I will come back again for brunch, but im sticking to beer and soda. On their defense, it was super busy but i dont think that a finger should be part of a drink. read more

"Mm-hmm! This is a tasty burger! Vincent!" I tend to quote Pulp Fiction when I have a good burger. And it was a tasty burger. I ordered the Cowboy burger and garlic fries. The Cowboy comes with bacon, grilled onions, jalapenos, jack cheese, mushroom and chipotle aioli. The chipotle aioli brought all of the heat and most of the flavor. It was a very tasty burger. The garlic fries were a disappointment. They were still blonde but hard as fry shaped rocks. Not crispy, that would have been nice, but hard. And lukewarm. The majority of the minced garlic was dumped into the bottom of the little basket and was refrigerator cold. So much potential squandered. They are also a bit understaffed. That, or someone wasn't pulling their weight. Because I saw two of the three servers hustling but yet service was painfully slow. The time it took to get my soda... I should have been comped for it. But the two servers that I actually saw the most were very friendly and apologetic. It was quite busy when I walked in. So the third server shouldn't have been MIA most of the time I was there. Not cool. The decor is nice and the bar area has a little bit of a sports bar vibe. It's a pleasant place to grab a beer and a burger. I'd like to say that we've given this place a fair shake (went twice). I don't want to waste many words on a place that we didn't enjoy (at all), but I have to give some reasoning. The first time that we went, the burgers tasted dry and the service was terrible (could have been to the lackluster work-force generated during the early-COVID era). Be that as it may, we decided to give it another try recently. We went during one of their trivia nights and it seemed like a pretty cool crowd. Unfortunately, the staff seemed more focused on playing around with their regulars instead of attending to their new customers--we were never asked if we needed help within 15 minutes of entering the place. We went to the bar and the bartender told us that the waitress would be around soon enough (false). We left and gave our money to somewhere more deserving. You can order one entree, and have unlimited drinks. What was the drink of choice? Lovely mimosas! I ordered the chuck burger as my entree, and it was delicious. Hamburger, egg, bacon, what a great sandwich. The waitresses were very attentive to us, refilling our drinks promptly. For the Sunday brunch we had great service, and arriving at 11:30am we beat the horde of people that came later. I wish we had a Bronx Burger in Hawaii! Me and a friend were extremely and decided we needed lunch, I utilized an app on my phone and it brought us this place so we decided to try it out, one of the best ideas I had yet. The atmosphere is really nice so we were impressed upon arrival, however the service wasn't as good as I hoped. It took us entirely to long for us to receive service. I would have like to been greeted upon arrival and told that I can seat anywhere I'd like, however I had to seek out someone in order to find that out. Once seated a little acknowledgment would have been nice, I once again had to seek out someone in order to get our order taken. Ridiculous!!! On a higher note the food was amazing!!! If their customer service can be as good as their burgers I'm sure this would be a five star establishment. I would definitely return for the food and drinks, because I love good food, but if this was based on service alone I wouldn't be a repeat customer. The Bronx Burger House is still great and if possible, it's gotten even greater! I went there recently with friends for their Drag Night and we had an absolute hoot! We ordered Calamari and Parmesan Wings to start and all I can say is YES, YES, YES! The Calamari was fresh, lightly battered and not at all greasy! The Parmesan Wings were to die for! I honestly could have ordered a 2nd batch of wings and have skipped the burger. That was, until I saw my burger! I ordered a Wild Mushroom burger which came overflowing with wonderfully caramelized onions and mushrooms and was brought to me medium rare, EXACTLY how I ordered it. My friends ordered the Ponyboy burgers raved about the quality of the meat and how the burgers were actually medium and not overcooked. I'd been craving 'real' onion rings (not the frozen ones served everyplace else) and these onion rings did not disappoint. Crispy, not greasy, real onions (not minced) and a very ample portion which came with my burger. My friends ordered the French fries so we shared the onions rings and French fries and the fries were crispy, not greasy, freshly made and delicious. The manager Laura is so warm and welcoming and really keeps the restaurant running like a well oiled machine. One of the things that truly impresses me about this place is that they consistently give back to the community, from helping to stock the Friendly Fridge, to hosting a variety of events which now include a Drag show which is really a wonderful night of fun and speaks to who they are and their commitment to the neighborhood. Even during the pandemic/quarantine, when times were tough for all of us, especially restaurants, Bronx Burger House did not disappoint. Not once! This is my go-to spot for wings because of their awesome Wing Wednesday deal... wings are 75 cents and they have at least half a dozen flavors that you can mix and match. My favorite is the garlic parmesan wings, and also the Thai chili ones. The restaurant also makes delicious boozy milkshakes... I've had the oreo milkshake and it was delicious.
