We stopped here to check out the local casino. Very dark and gloomy. We are used to a more colorful and attention grabbing themed casino. This one felt like a dark dingy back room of a bar. The service was good. The prices of drinks was more than average. $24.00 for 2 mixed drinks. We didn't see very much action. No one was winning anything. We blew through $360 in less than hour. The hubby tried the tables. He is usually pretty luck but not this time. I just played at the machines. We both didnt win anything. Now I remember why I don't gamble. Good sized casino. It is very clean and everything is kept in good order. There are lots of slot machines there but the minimum bet is a bit higher than I have seen at several of the casinos that I have been to. I didn't win anything big but playing at the slot machines was a nice day of entertainment. There are some good eateries there including a pub and a Chinese food restaurant. The casino workers all seemed friendly and helpful. They do offer a rewards card for a rewards program that is free to join. Went to the Gotta Have It barbecue event. The line to enter was very long. Talked with the couple behind us. They had purchased a VIP meet and greet ticket and had driven 2 hours to come and meet the Vince Wilfork. They were told there was no designated line for VIP. I'm sure they were thrilled. Finally we got in, got our food from a food truck (three sliders and cold fries) and sat down to eat. We were almost done when a nice waitress came up and told us we couldn't sit there- it was reserved. There was no one there and as we walked off I saw an 8 by 11 sign that said it was reserved. In the Secret Garden room another woman came up and told us where we could and could not sit. In short, even though our tickets were comped, it was not a fun experience. read more

When I go out to a casino I expect to have a classy Vegas-like experience. (Encore) The Brook is a tacky casino wanna be. The staff wears silly teen-themed T-shirts my 16 year old daughter would not wear. The dealers are dressed in T-shirts that are beneath them. As a card player, I deserve a true casino experience. I expect the dealers to at least wear white shirts, tie and vests or jackets. If I am going to drop $500.00 on a poker game I expect to be treated accordingly. I want to feel I am truly having a night out at a real casino. The Brook is like a big country bar. I do not feel The Brook is adequate if you want to drop in for some slots action. Not much else. I'm updating my review to keep it current. The Brook has gotten much better! They keep expanding....and although I still have yet recovered a hand payout I have been around a lot of people who have! Their customer base has really grown as a result. Also they are finally recognizing and keeping charging stations legit charging stations!!! They do monitor and will call people out. They also have e valet parking on certain days/times. I upped to four stars. I'd give it five but they're still blank machines.....not nearly as many and they also added two more cash out machines! I suggest you stay away from The Brook if you are looking to win even .25 cents or a free game on their slots. Also, there are very, very few machines where you can bet under .88 cents. After spending $100 dollars in 15 minutes and NOT winning more than than $1.00 overall, I left. If you want to have a good time and win free games and make $100 last hours, I suggest Oxford Casino in Maine. Also, you will find many slots under .50 cents a bet at Oxford. read more

This casino is large for the area and there were a good variety of games. My family mainly plays slots and there are enough machines that we were easily able to sit next to one another to play when we wanted to. However, these machines were the tightest any of us had played in a very long time. With four of us playing none even broke even which is super unusual. At one point I had been playing a machine for about 30 minutes. During that time got a bonus game three times and the highest total win on those games was about $3.50. I don't think I've ever played a slot that paid out less than $10 for a bonus game and that would be considered low. There's a couple of options available for food but no coffee shop which seems like it would be a fairly easy thing to offer to the coffee lovers in New England. They also recently opened a paired down version of the famous Kowloon restaurant in Saugus MA. However it is insultingly expensive. An order of chicken wings (which was a total of 4 wings) was $19! Two egg rolls was $11 and were so terrible our table sent ours back because they tasted sour. I'm lucky enough to live in southern NH where there are a few other casinos options available. They may be a little smaller but overall I feel like overall they offer a better experience. read more

We went in a night the fights were on the big screen alot of people. They have done a large expansion. We were kind of lost looking for a place to eat. It was pretty late as well and we were unfamiliar with the restaurants in there. We bumped into Sheryll who is the food and beverage manager and she managed to get us some great food gave us some good tips and overall she was just wonderful. Went to see The Dueling Piano show here. We went early to grab a bite to eat at Lucky's. The service, was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious. The Seasons Room where we saw the show was very comfortable. They had wait staff walking around taking drink orders. The entire night was a lot of fun. We will definitely be back. read more

I wanted to love this place because it's only an hour from home, but my expectations were too high. Pros: Very clean. $20 in free play for first time club card holders. Non smoking. Lots of parking. Cons: Only two slot machines with minimum bet of 20 cents; most machines had an 80 cent minimum. Building looks like an abandoned mall from the outside (apparently it was an abandoned race track.) No signage on the building, confusing as to which entrance was the main entry door. Not a lot of machines (as compared to Mohegan or Foxwoods which are obviously much larger.) Restaurant was a small counter with a small selection of food. This was a one and done for us. Checked off our list of places we wanted to try, but not worth returning. read more

We reserved a table in the sports book and at first everything was great. Service, pricing, atmosphere, great food options, etc... However, things took a turn when my husband was playing blackjack and the dealer got a 17, mistook it for a 16 and hit. The pit boss came over and acknowledged the mistake, but then took everyone's money saying it didn't impact the outcome of the hand. However, when the dealer hit, that card should have been the first card dealt of the next hand, so it did impact the game. Just our opinion, but this was really ticky tack and distasteful. We have seen dealers make a mistake in other casinos and they never take the players' money if the dealer made a mistake. My husband cashed out and we left. Just putting this out there so others are aware of how this place operates. read more

second time we have seen a show here. The first time was dueling pianos, this time was Zoso, a Led Zeppelin cover band. Both times, the show didn't last more than an hour and 15 minutes. Dueling pianos was horrible, Zepplin show was good, but way too short for the price. Not a good place to see a show. read more

I came to Lucky's at the Brook on Mother's Day with my parents, my husband, my daughter and son, 6 of us. Sheryl from beginning to end, greeted us with a smile and made sure we had a great time. There was no mention of VIP breakfast going on and online said no reservations. Sheryl went above and beyond to make sure we had a table and the breakfast was excellent. I go to The Brook at least once a week, and really enjoy myself there! For one, Lucky's restaurant is my favorite place to eat lunch or dinner before I go into the Casino! Brook and Melinda are amazing bartenders at Lucky's and give the best service, with a big smile! I highly recommend you try Lucky's restaurant and my fav drink there is called a "French Mimosa". Brook makes these adorable designs out of the orange peel she sits on your pretty glass! I find that the staff are very friendly and helpful. I also want to say that Joe who bartends at the bar in the casino, is amazing and so nice! The casino has all you could want from slots to table games and sports betting! Love this place! read more

Joined as a new member and received $10 in free-play for the slots .Promptly lost it in the slots. The place overall is the largest casino in the NH area by far compared to the 3 located in Nashua and Manchester and worth the hour's drive. The table games has at least 3 active Blackjack games with 3 to 2 payout on BJ and a friendly $10 per hand. Ambiance is new and the dealers were friendly. The Lucky Restaurant was an easy walk from the casino for a lunch break. There were no waitresses when I was playing at either the slots or table games since I came on a weekday. Always have a great time at the Casino and eat at Luckys frequently. We got invite to the new Kowloons, Nine Dragons. Looking forward to it, I mean KowLoons right? We got there and asked us if we had reservations, we said yes, didnt take our name, just sat us in bar area. We ordered drinks including a very delicous Mai Tai but the music was so so so loud we couldnt even hear our waitress. We had to leave. I was disappointed in this place. I heard they had slot machines. Technically they do. But they are generic with generic games and you pick from 12-15 different lame games on each machine. You pick your denomination and I found most are $.25 to $5 per bet, with a few with larger bet options. None of my favorite games could be found. And probably 50 were either not set up yet or out of order. The table games weren't busy so I didn't bother there. The food available looked super limited so not really a place to plan to eat at. The bathrooms needed cleaning and updating. And there wasn't really any thought put into pedestrians walking from their cars to get in the place. A nice little spot out front to sit at and watch people come in. A nice deck out back. I hope as they finish setting up this place is more of a draw. I LOVE that it benefits different charities, that should be promoted more inside instead of just in one screen. I'll go back in a few months to check it out again. read more

This is only a review of the showroom. It's a nice small room with mostly comfortable seats. The main issue with the seating is that perhaps half the seats DO NOT face the stage. The same people that designed Fenway Park must have designed the room. So all night long you have to turn your head. If you are going to book a show make sure you are as close to the middle as possible. The rest of the casino is very nice. They did a great job with that. read more
