We were in town to bring our niece to see a friend, and we're looking for lunch. We came across the Beckley and thought we'd give it a whirl. It is located in an apartment development also called the Buckley; looks new, very nice, great layout. The restaurant was very open inside, but because we had Maisie we asked to sit on the patio. We started with two Aperol spritz's - made just right. Appetizer of Greca Fries; crisp French fries with oregano and feta - delicious. I also tried the clam chowder bowl; a good sized portion; good flavors, nothing too special. I had the Salmon Taco trio - it was good, but not as flavorful as I'd like. Aimée had the gyro street tacos - these were absolutely amazing, highly recommend. We didn't have dessert but the Mango mousse cake looked very tempting ... Would go again! read more

It's the fish tacos for me. They're dangerous. They pull you in and you can't find a way out. I'm a regular with those fish tacos - and with the proximity to my house, you can't beat it. However, I decided to be adventurous once and wasn't impressed. Whatever other stuff we ordered wasn't all that good. But then again, it could just be that our brains get wired to eat our regulars and then other stuff starts feeling lackluster. In any case, this spot is always fast, responsive, and reliable. We've been here a few times now and enjoy it more each time. The food is a cut above the standard American/bar/casual fare and they have a solid beer and mixed drink menu. We have been to this place a bunch of times. The food is consistently good. Fried pickles are great. Salads are good and so is the pizza. The burgers are what I usually get. We usually sit at the bar. The service is usually good but the seats should be changed as they are not comfortable at all. Steel small sized chairs with no bar to rest your feet. This place is confusing on so many levels. It's like a sports bar and a chic restaurant. Not sure what they are trying to be. The menu also does not fit either decor. It was like Italian and Greek and pub food? The prices were also pretty expensive for the space/what you get. I got the butternut squash ravioli and it was frankly quite tasteless. I never send food back but this was just so bland, especially for $20. The drinks I got were pretty watered down. Service was also lack luster. I stopped by The Buckley Kitchen & Bar for dinner very recently. They just opened for business last week, so I had to check it out. The place is a modern restaurant/bar with an open concept with big glass windows, which has a U-shaped bar with high chair seating & flat screen TVs surrounded by the dining areas (tables, long booth seating & metal chairs).  The menu offerings include a variety of appetizers/small plates (fried pickles, meatballs, lamb lollipops, wings, sweet & sour cauliflower, fish tacos), pasta dishes, burgers & sandwiches, gyros, (with fries or house made chips), flatbread, entree salads, and dessert selections. The prices are moderate here, most items in the $10-$20 range. The bar offers a selection of draft & bottled beers, cocktails, and wine by the glass. I decided to sit up at the bar for prompt service. I was here for the food. For the purpose of this post, I ordered 2 entrees to try out. The 8 oz Prime Burger ($13) was big and thick iwhich had a thick grilled burger (firm & moist), romaine lettuce leaf, tomato slices on a buttered toasted burger bun, served with shoestring sweet potato fries (my choice) and dill pickle spear. The Chicken Parm with Spaghetti ($17) was a good sized portion which had two thick hand breaded/fried boneless chicken cutlets (white & dark meat) topped with melted fresh mozzarella cheese with firm cooked spaghetti was a chunky marinara sauce and basil. The food here was very good and tasted very fresh. I was very full after attempting to eat two entrees and was given a box to go. I was offered dessert, which I will do next visit. They bring over a dessert tray to show which had 4 choices including tiramisu, baklava cake and cheesecake slices. The total for 2 entrees and an ice water was $32.10 with tax and before tip. Overall, the food I ordered was very satisfying and I will try out the Blackened Salmon Fish Tacos next time, which are a big hit with the staff and customers. Stopped in early (5pm) on a Friday nite after not being able to find a parking spot on a prior Friday after6pm New , clean modern looking. About 50 table seats and a large bar area where some seemed to be eating Modest menu of small plates, larger Pastas, flatbreads burgers and sandwiches. A bit of a Greek theme in salads and even beers. I had a large Mediterranean chicken sandwich on a thick roll with feta cheese and more. Very tasty and presented with a large fries that were better than fast food fries. Chicken was a bit dry but still a good sandwich My wife had the large flatbread pizza. Good size. Took home two slices. Attractive with lots of cheese and tomatoes. Ok but not great. With a $5 beer and free refilled ice tea and tip was under $50 Live in neighborhood so we will go again. Menu is interesting if not extensive , service is friendly and place is comfortable aeasy to access. On a recent May22 visit I had the pork gyro and wasn't impressed. Pork while ample little fried pieces was very dry and unappetizing. I should have sent it back Friend had the chicken parm and loved it . Went again in Jan 23. Friendly service. We had a birthday brunch for my 97 year old mother at the Buckley. WE chose The Buckley as it is conveniently across the street from Mom's nursing home. Not having been there before, we were pleasantly surprised at the warm welcome from the staff. Our waitress, Sara was friendly, helpful and attentive the whole time. I'm so happy to see more locally owned restaurants popping up in Framingham! It's so refreshing to have options other than your typical chains when dining out. I'd been told about the Buckley and had to stop in with friends during a recent visit to town. The décor was modern and refreshing with all the plants and big windows. I opted for the roasted eggplant flatbread as did a friend. It was delicious and very filling so I was excited to have leftovers to enjoy later. We went to the Buckley to meet some friends to watch a Bruins game on a Saturday afternoon. It isn't a big sports bar, so the noise level was very comfortable, even later when more of the tables were filled. Staff was very friendly and the food was very good and reasonably priced. Very comfortable environment - we'll go back again. It's located adjacent to a newer condo complex of the same name, which is a bit unusual, but has it's own parking lot. We left at prime time dinner hour on a Saturday. The restaurant wasn't full, but the parking lot was. There appears to be other parking available nearby, but definitely something to factor in. read more

Have had the blackened tacos both times I've gone once salmon once shrimp, both are excellent! I love that they have some interesting vegetarian options. My friend had some Greek-style meatball dish they said was great. Drinks there weren't my favorite so I'll stick to wine next time. This restaurant is very nice, beautiful decor and atmosphere, very chill vibe, great for an evening out with friends or family. The menu is simple, but the food is good and tasty. The wait staff was very nice and accommodating, food came out on time and as expected, If you don't like what you've ordered, send it back and order something else, no questions asked. The chicken wings are my favorite from the appetizers, great sauces, try all of them. It gets very busy on the weekends so make reservations for your party a head of time. My wife were in the area, and I stopped into The Buckley for dinner and drinks. We ordered a keylime cocktail that was delicious. We started with a Ceasar salad, which was among the best I have had. My wife ordered the burger while I went with the chicken sandwich, both of which were served with fries. The dishes were served hot with crispy fries.
