They were soft, buttery, and fresh - lemon pepper traditional wings (5 pieces): I liked that these weren't a dry rub but a little saucy with a good lemony and peppery flavor! And the cook gave recommendations based off what he noticed people order the most. This is attention to detail that is noted by him so he knows his clientele. Pro-tip: if you order online, if your food is cold/not crispy, it's not the joint's fault - recognize that delivery people's commute times are more than just driving to you, but they are also still otw to the facility (just my two cence since I used to deal with door dash at a boba cafe). Had this place on my list to try ever since we tried this place in Arizona and learned they had a spot in San Diego County. We ventured over here and ordered about $40 of food for 4 people. I was say it was probably the same price (or maybe more) as a place like Buffalo Wild Wings (just much, much, much better) although It is quite pricey, especially depending on what you order but the chicken is cooked perfectly and the Buffalo sauce was just mild but the Chipotle sauce was the best flavor. We ordered an order of the Buffalo fries (large and small) as well as the 10 piece with fries. You are charged extra for ranch (small and large prices). They are requiring masks when you enter the store and the location is quite big but wasn't as busy when we came for lunch. The chicken chunks are a good size and it was clean and decor was interesting to read. They do have bundles for larger orders that might be a better deal than getting smaller orders if you have a bigger family. I found out about this place on social media, so many people were posting about these amazing buffalo fries. I was in the area so I had to try it out. I learned that I can order takeout on the Yelp app/Grubhub so that's what I did. Parking is this narrow area that's super packed. I said I ordered takeout online via yelp and she said she didn't get the order so she can't do anything about it. She went to the back to talk to the chef who called the manager. She then checked this iPad and the order was indeed there. What's a red flag is that I got notified that the order was ready when the order wasn't even processed. Not sure if it's a yelp issue, Grubhub issue or this restaurants issue. She processed the order and brought out the meal in five minutes. She didn't even apologize for their mistake. Ordered via "toast takeout" app, where there was a delivery option. Called the restaurant about the order and they said that they didn't have delivery drivers, and it has to be pick up (unless the order came from an app with their own delivery drivers). I am currently immobilized due to an injury and, due to both injury and the medications prescribed, not currently legally able to drive, so I cannot pick it up. I asked for a refund, but they replied that they would have to inquire if possible-- they also said that if I had problems with the delivery, the app gives information to inquire about help-- the Information that the app gave was literally the number I called. I'm not sure I understand why they included a delivery option on the app if they don't have delivery drivers. I had been wanting to try this spot for the Shakes and fries they posted on the windows. I didn't notice they share a space with Burros & Fires but my husband did, I will be commenting on this at the end. I ordered a strawberry shake came out first. It was kinda frothy and the straw they provided was so skinny, you couln't even stuck out of. I asked them for a straw with a larger hole but the cashier stated this all they provide, so I had to drink it straight out the cup instead ( who does that!). Big thumbs down for them, this should have been a red flag. I ordered the staple " buffalo chicken fries" they took a very long time to come out and when they did they were luke warm and were simply not worth the wait or the $$. Sauces were basic and it seamed like microwaved chicken nuggets out of a bag. I only ate a quarter of them just to take the edge off of being hungry. My husband said he'd give the carne asada burrito a try from the Burros & Fries counter. This came out before my buffalo chicken fries! The burrito was med size, meat was vieny. The garlic parmesan wings were buttery and had real, shredded parmesan, not that fake powder. The battered lemon pepper fries were phenomenal. The restaurant is clean and the staff are ultra friendly and efficient. The prices are less than or equal to Wing Stop, but the quality is better, tenfold. Both gentlemen made sure to check on all their waiting customers and inform them of their wait times/ when their food would be coming out.
