Movie poster decor on the walls and film themed menus add to the charm of this shared space: coffee shop and community work space (a separate room with tabletop computers and desks). I noticed the line was continuously about 6-8 people long, and the staff were not fazed at all, consistently friendly and helpful. I asked for a recommendation. They said the blue velvet was popular, and since I love matcha lattes, I decided to try it. Five minutes later and a beautifully layered subtly sweet drink was in my hand and I was comfortably seated in the corner on an upholstered low chair. A very hospitable, delicious experience! I hope that they hired more, as the person in the back did mention they are in the process. There was only one Barista and one runner at the time. But they did kick ass. I also grabbed a premade breakfast burrito with a spicy green sauce on the side, which was a nice addition. The decor is simple and neutral, but honestly a little plain. It's not really the type of coffee shop where I'd want to sit and hang out for a long time. One thing that stood out to me was the service. I really enjoy interacting with local baristas and getting that friendly neighborhood coffee shop feel, but the staff didn't seem particularly welcoming or interested in engaging. I've honestly had friendlier service at Starbucks. Overall, I'd give it a solid 3 stars. Nothing was necessarily wrong with my experience, but nothing really stood out as great either. Worth trying if you're in the area, but I'm not sure it would become a regular stop for me.

I now go to Tacitas pretty regularly and my go to drink is the iced Azteca, which is perfectly spiced and delicious every time. Some of my family's favorite drinks are the Amorcita (iced or hot) and the Sol de Chai. I also love trying their seasonal drinks when those rotate in and if you guys read this, please introduce a seasonal drink flight so I can try everything at once thx :) The shop itself is super cute and cozy and literally every single person on their staff is super friendly. They do a lot of cool community events which I think is amazing and I love their sustainability efforts too. Would absolutely recommend stopping by if you're in the area and want to try something new!

Service is on point and the owners/baristas remembers their regular customers. My go to and highly recommend is their turmeric ginger honey latte add double shot expressos, and cream foam. Personally, the roast tasted a little burnt, but it's a common, familiar coffee flavor. The strength was weak for a nitro, but the HUGE SIZE and affordability balances it all out. This is a functional, budget drink. On ambiance, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) is a HUGE success. There's a lot of utility. The location has a self-serve water station, public internet with no password, stacked high chairs for children, two game corners (ex: Chess, Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga, Uno Cards, Etc), and about one available electrical outlet.
