Anyway, it is time for an update. This location is on the way home so it has become one of my favorite burger joints. The patty itself is very thin, maybe even thinner than McDonalds or Burger King, but the flavors with the mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, and the seasoning powder make this burger very tasty. The fries are among the best in Dallas. Always crispy, a very generous portion, and that seasoning powder puts them over the top. Service is fast. You order at the counter and they call your name. It usually is not more than few minutes. Ambience is historic. You can imagine that in the 1960s and 1970s this place was cool. Today, not much has changed so it is more historic than cool. It feels like a burger joint. My main critique is that the price for the single burger and fries has really gone up. I remember, not too long ago, that the burger, fries and drink were under $10. This most recent visit, October 2025, it was over $13. The burger has not gotten bigger (but neither has it gotten smaller). I understand that prices go up, but I enjoyed the old prices more.

I asked the fellow who I ordered with who I definitely confirmed there would be two turkey patties to please add the missing turkey patty, and Jemena came out and said I will be charged for the second turkey patty. I said no that there are two beef patties and i had confirmed with the guy I ordered with that they would substitute two turkey patties and then Jemena said NO, I said OK, let's refund the entire order, which she did. And I asked for a manager, she said she is the manager. Then I asked for the district manager's phone number, and she walked away, but in a moment she came back and said the General manager was getting your phone number for me. Then Stacy came out and said she was the manager and NO she will not give me the manager's personal phone number and all I get is the email. Stacy added the "personal" part. She didn't greet me, she didn't ask the situation. I was being dismissed and sent away. I'm clearly a bad person. Besides the presentation being much smaller and much less food than your photos, the patty that did show up being torn and a bit missing, the level of condescension, entitlement and absence of respect or understanding of the promise/delivery makes me wonder how long this will continue. I'm obviously a big chicken and turkey burger fan and I find places that serve them, and I bring friends and spend a bit of money over time. I like to find a place and keep coming back. So: If your clerk sells me two patties Im probably pretty hungry and have driven, parked, lined up and ordered then gotten my napkin and fork and am anticipating a delicious meal. Instead it's made clear to me by tone, language and behavior that I'm unwelcome and the promise made and paid for will not be honored. There's no accountability to management. I expect there's a gap in your training and a huge opportunity here in both hiring and staffing and further training. I hope you sort it out and survive the challenging retail environment and grow.
