She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. She knew the menu well, offered great recommendations, and made sure everything came out perfectly. It's clear that H&G Supply takes pride in both its food and its customer service. Thanks to Ava's outstanding hospitality, our experience was even better than expected. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend both H&G Supply and Ava to anyone looking for a great meal and excellent service!

Here is my overview: 1. Adorable location with lots of shops and bars nearby, parking is available but you might drive around a little if it's during the evening 2. The restaurant is casual but still feels upscale enough to be a date spot 3. I ordered the bun less bison burger, broccoli and cauliflower, which were all packed with flavor. I couldn't finish the veggies, I was just so full but so happy! 4. The sunset cocktail passed out to the entire room was something I have never experienced and was delighted to be a part of. (Just a couple sips only, since my pancreas is not alcohol friendly these days..sigh. 5. The staff. Kind, friendly and seem to love the restaurant and what they are providing- passionate Verdict: Fantastic!

The restaurant was decorated with a lot of greenery. It's like if a person with a green thumb was allowed an endless budget. The back patio is where my party sat for a late lunch. A bit hot but the server kept the drinks flowing and the laughs kept us cool in between them. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap. It was so damn good. Their fries were as well. I demolished this meal. My son sat at another table with his teammates and ordered the pizza. He loved it and ate the whole thing! Crazy but after a couple water polo matches I am not too shocked. Parking here was a pain but they offer valet, at least on Sundays, to help. The lady's working were very helpful in finding our large party seating.

We get our dinner FIRST and no appetizer. We had to ask for our appetizer. When the appetizer comes late we told our server and she then asked what she should do about it. We said maybe comp it, we still want it. She said she couldn't let us keep it and comp it. She then says time is guaranteed, so why did she LIE. Don't ask someone what they want if you can't make it happen. She took the appetizer away. She asked if we wanted a manager. We said yes and had to ask twice for him. He finally shows up and tries to explain the kitchen was behind but didn't resolve our concern or what happened. He showed up annoyed and DISMISSIVE. Then.. they CHARGED us for the appetizer that was late and they TOOK AWAY.

It's a lunch spot with sandwiches and a glass of wine or a cocktail. It's the perfect place to work on your laptop or read a book, but also to take a casual date or your family for breakfast. They have a gluten free bread option (woohoo) and I've had both their avocado toast and the fried egg breakfast sandwich (with added avocado haha). Both are sooo good. The avocado toast comes with smoked salmon, which I do like, but I'm more of a basic avocado toast person. It also has a little pico de gallo and red pepper flakes! The breakfast sandwich is 2 over easy eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese, and tomato on sourdough (I subbed gluten free bread and added avocado) with a side of breakfast potatoes. It's a lot of food -- super filling and delicious. I also recommend their iced latte with whatever house-made syrup your prefer (usuals like caramel, vanilla, mocha, and then not-so-usuals like coconut pandan, lavender, brown sugar date, etc.). Enjoy!

However they were attentive and the overall ambiance was nice and upbeat for a brunch place. Food wise, everything here was average. Nothing stood out as something I absolutely would come back for. We got two Benedict's that were not very warm and has hollandaise/gravy that was not very flavorful but the home fries were seasoned and fried well. The French toast was quite good but was very obviously put in the microwave right before serving with a steaming hot center. The best part was the blueberry kale salad which had a nice vinaigrette and the cashews were a nice touch. Overall, with the number of brunch spots in Dallas I would reserve halcyon for study/coffee spot as opposed to a must try weekend brunch.

I decided to give Sixty Vines a try while I was in Dallas for the weekend, and I'm so glad I did!…read moreWe stopped in on a Friday afternoon and were seated right away. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded, which made it a great time to enjoy the space without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Our server was wonderful and definitely added to the experience. She was especially helpful when we were choosing the cheeses for our charcuterie board, offering suggestions and helping us put together a combination that worked really well. Of course, the main reason we stopped in was the Frozen Espresso Martini, which had been highly recommended to us--and whoever made that recommendation deserves some credit because it did not disappoint! It was exactly the kind of indulgent afternoon drink I was hoping for. We were also told that we should try the Frosé, so that's officially on my list for the next visit. Hopefully, I'll get the chance to try it when I'm back in town. I really enjoyed the design of the restaurant as well. The dining areas and bar have a very open, comfortable feel without being overly loud or chaotic. It struck a nice balance between being lively and still allowing you to actually enjoy your conversation. We only came in for charcuterie and drinks, so I didn't get the chance to experience the full food menu, but I was still genuinely impressed with the overall experience. If I'm back in Dallas, I'd definitely return--and next time, I'd love to sit down for an actual meal and explore more of the menu. Overall, Sixty Vines was a great afternoon stop: friendly service, a beautiful and comfortable space, and a Frozen Espresso Martini worth making a trip for. I'd happily visit this location again or check out another Sixty Vines in a future city. The Frozen Espresso Martini was definitely the right recommendation.
