I wanted to give this restaurant multiple chances before making a judgment because I know they were still finding their footing when they first opened. My first visit was disappointing. The service wasn't great, and neither was the food. Since they had just opened, I decided to give them another shot. My second and third visits were much better, with attentive service and quality food. Unfortunately, things became inconsistent after that. On later visits, service started slipping, and some dishes were overly salty. This last visit was by far the worst. My family was visiting from Southern California, and they chose this restaurant. From the start, our server was largely absent and probably checked on our table only once. My sister and I ordered drinks, and after waiting an unusually long time, we had to follow up ourselves, only to realize the bartender hadn't even started making them. My brother ordered the lobster and steak, and the lobster arrived practically raw. I ordered the shrimp scampi, and the shrimp tasted freezer-burned and anything but fresh. It was incredibly disappointing. A manager did ask if they could make it right and give us dessert or another entree which I declined. They did take care of our drinks and entrees which was nice, but I would've rather had a great experience especially since my family were visiting and we were celebrating my nephews graduations and my daughter's birthday. At this point, I don't see myself returning. The inconsistency in both the food and service is just too much for me. It's especially disappointing because my husband and I used to visit the downtown location all the time, and it was always so good. I was really hoping this location would live up to that same standard.

You really can't go wrong with the country fried steak or the chicken and waffles. On my most recent visit, I tried the classic frittata and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the Country fried steak and Po Boy Chicken sandwich with upgraded sweet potato fries TO-GO. They did not tell us how long we could potentially be waiting... We waited 30 minutes to get our order. Cell reception sucks so you can't really play with your phone while waiting for your food which it made it more excruciating. Had to step outside. The worst part was when I got home. Sweet potatoes fries were super soggy so I had to air fry it. What's unforgivable was that on my Po boy, they gave me a tiny strip of burnt chicken!!! It was super dry too The tartar sauce on the sandwich was good so I give them that, and Country fried steak was decent... but when you mess up the one thing you should be good at and you make guest wait 30+ minutes for burnt food, that's something you can't overlook. We had the chance to try them when they were good but the quality has gone downhill while price has increased. I won't be coming back. Tip: call in advance to order or expect to wait a lifetime. Maybe ask if it would be faster to dine in? They close at 3pm too. Check your chicken before you go home. $16 for po boy not worth it. Don't upgrade to soggy sweet potatoes fries.

We sat down inside and were greeted by a very friendly waitress. Food came out super quick. We ordered the Okie Nachos and Brussels Sprouts... and they hit the spot! Okie Nachos were fresh homemade potato chips with delicious toppings. A tiny bit too saucy, but if you're looking for pub food, they're a 9/10. Brussels Sprouts were nicely crispy and complimented by a mild balsamic glaze, 8.5/10. Overall, would definitely recommend this place. Awesome vibes, service, and food!

The burger and pretzel were okay, the guacamole had no salt and there was a big chunk of tomato in guacamole. Pretzel sauce bit spicy it was the highlight of my meal. Location great plenty of parking and outside looks amazing. Overall, okay I just won't like wait that long now imagine if it was a packed service can be a nightmare. It's too bad I was really looking forward for this place.

This shares the same tiny parking lot of Starbucks, so parking is kinda tight. Their indoor dining is pretty small, as I counted that it can only seat about 22 people; as there are also limited (3) outdoor dining tables too. I do like to do to-go orders on the app, which is convenient because it seems like whenever I arrive in-person, they are always understaff and the wait can take a while. Sometimes even when I order online, I'll still need to wait beyond the arrival time. If I could give a more accurate rating, it would be slightly below a 3-star review, as it has happened way too frequently that they are understaff and they cannot meet their arrival pick up times. Just recently in June of 2026, I waited over 10-minutes from the expected pickup time from my online order.

For whatever reason I'm sure is probably because I went there late at night, the Cabbage wasn't tasting like I normally like it to be. It was really soggy, not crisp and very salty. Yet this is just one night of tasting It. Whenever I eat It is VERY, VERY, VERY DELICIOUS. So my suggestion would be don't go there to eat cabbage an hour before closing. I made a reservation inquiry for my birthday at exactly 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 11, for a party…read moreof two. I was told the earliest available reservation was 7:45 PM. I then asked if there was any chance of being seated sooner as a walk-in, and Aubrey told me they had room for two at a table in the bar area. I specifically asked whether it was an actual table where we could comfortably order food, because I did not want to be stuck at some tiny corner setup where only one plate could fit. I also made it clear that it was my birthday and that I wanted something a little more formal and comfortable. I was told it would be in the front by the bar, not shoved in a corner, though it could be a little crowded if people were in the waiting area. When we arrived, the first issue was parking. For a first-time guest, parking was unnecessarily difficult to figure out, especially during a rainstorm. Since the restaurant is set up like a small house, it was not obvious where to park, and there was no clear sign letting us know there was parking around the back. Once we walked in, I immediately saw the table that had been described to us. It was right near the bar against the wall, and it was much smaller and more awkward than I had been led to believe. My girlfriend was wearing a dress, and because it was such a high table, it made it uncomfortable for her to sit naturally and comfortably. As soon as we sat down, I looked at the table and asked if we were really going to be able to order multiple items and eat comfortably there. I was told they would "pace it" and "make it work." That should have been the warning sign right there. We started with two ice waters, and even that nearly filled the table. They brought a pitcher and poured the water into the glasses. I asked for a separate cup of ice, and because there was so little room on the table, I had to ask the waiter to take the glass back and pour it for me so I would not spill everything. That is how cramped this setup was. We ordered the chicken breast special and a half dozen oysters. First came the garlic bread, and now we had bread, butter, two waters, silverware everywhere, and barely any room left. Then the oysters arrived, and everything had to be shifted around just to make it fit. At that point, the table had bread, oysters, hot sauce, waters, and multiple pieces of silverware for each guest, and it felt like one wrong move would send a glass to the floor. After we finished the oysters and bread, they cleared the table and brought out our entrée. We ordered the shareable chicken breast after I specifically asked whether it would be enough food for both of us. The waiter said it should be. In reality, it was about four small pieces of chicken once cut, three asparagus spears, and two very small scoops of mashed potatoes. For the price, it was honestly disappointing. I cannot remember the last time I paid that much at a nicer restaurant and still left hungry. What made it worse was that they knew it was my birthday and did absolutely nothing to acknowledge it. No small dessert, no candle, no gesture, nothing. Ironically, the only people who made the night feel special were another couple who had apparently been dining there for years. They overheard us mention it was my birthday and kindly bought us two sparkling wines. That was thoughtful, but it also added even more clutter to an already ridiculously tiny table. The service overall was underwhelming. We were barely checked on, and the whole experience felt awkward. The hostess kept staring at us throughout the meal, and at one point, she rolled her eyes when she went to take the Tabasco sauce, and we told her we still needed it for the chicken. For the prices Boulevard Bistro charges, I expected much better service, better communication, and a much more comfortable dining experience. Instead, the whole night felt misleading, cramped, and disappointing. I will not be coming back.
