So my friend and I got food from here the other day and it was good nothing really spectacular. I will say the service was amazing little lady behind the counter was super friendly and sweet. Food came out extremely hot and fresh. Burger was over done for what I asked for but was still a juicy, very messy with all the BBQ sauce (way to much in my opinion see photo ) but besides that pretty good little spot will probably be back. Oh on a side note the online menu doesn't show all they offer they actually have a very large menu to choose from keep that in mind. read more

This is a great local burger joint. I have never been disappointed. My new favorite is the Carolina burger. Crunchy coleslaw, BBQ sauce and pickles all on top of a perfect burger. A touch of heat adds just the right kick. Their hand cut fries are a great side. They have salads, apps & wraps that I haven't tried yet. That will be another review for another time. For now I'm enjoying my burger. I highly recommend. read more

Nice little burger place! I will say, the customer service was impeccable, and the two ladies working there were very sweet and helpful. Unfortunately I was underwhelmed with the cheeseburger, it wasn't the best. But, the sweet potato fries were a hit for the entire family! To be honest, I pulled up and was expecting a dive. I walked in and was pleasantly surprised. It's much nicer on the inside. There is a chalkboard menu right on the wall with something for everyone. So many choices. I walked up to the counter and followed my five year old daughter's lead and ordered a simple cheeseburger with hand cut French fries. Since this isn't fast food, there was a wait while our food was cooked. No worries, we were given some crayons to draw on the paper that covers the tables. When our food was ready, we walked up to the window and brought our food back to the table. Our burgers were cooked exactly as we asked. They were deliciously juicy. They rivaled the likes of Five Guys and the like. On the flip side, don't expect a huge mound of fries. Thought prices were a bit high, though it was money well spent. read more

The place made a good burger and on the advice of another yelper I read I got the punisher burger. Was fine, good burger, no real complaints. I'd say the service wasn't really friendly I said I never been there and asked a few questions and she didn't seem to want to help. Also the burger says 6 oz and I'm not one to love the size of a burger but it took up about 75 percent of the bun only. So even if the burger was fine, psychologically you feel like you're getting jobbed a bit. Also I didn't see til the end you can add stuff like eggs or bacon or anything a to the burger for additional price. I woulda added an egg for sure, but that goes back to the service. One last thing, the restaurant has no bathroom. Didn't think that was allowed maybe it's a Massachusetts thing that they allow that. So... If you're a business guy like me stopping in for a bite you might wanna get it to go. By the way ... Got the sweet potato fries... They were good!! And they offer healthy drinks. read more

The specialty burgers are awesome, the Memphis is my favorite. Burgers and fries is their specialty. If you want a tuna melt and a bag of chips like I did you're out of luck. If you'd like to wash you hands in the restroom you're out of luck (their is NO restroom and you will be directed to the CVS across the street). Another one bites the dust. I really, really loved this place, before they decided to cheap out. I use to get their turkey burgers... They use to taste like REAL TURKEY. I will absolutely be back when I'm in the area. We "accidentally" found the Burger Grille on Yelp and we're pleasantly surprised. From the initial impression when we walked in all the way to the food, we were extremely pleased. I got the blue cheese burger and it was almost too much food to eat. Do yourself a favor...eat there. Parking was tough since it's on the street. And, there was a show on the TV that was not "family appropriate". Other than these things...it was great! read more

Each visit to The Burger Grille has left me satisfied and anxiously awaiting the next time I'm able to swing by to stuff my face once more. My typical order is custom to my mood, but I enjoyed the Carolina burger during my most recent visit. It was an odd combination of ingredients that worked together harmoniously. ...10/10 would eat again. And the icing on the cake was having my order taken and served by an exceptionally friendly and engaging employee (Angela, if I recall correctly). Also, their curly fries and fried zucchini sticks are nearly better than s--yeah, you know what I was thinking. ...Nearly. Just remember to let the zucchini sticks cool down before you take a bite, else your mouth will not be pleased. They arrive very, very fresh out of the fryer. They also offer Polar soft drinks, which is super cool. No bathroom, though. Be warned. Your hands will get messy from their burgers, but they offer copious stacks of wet wipes by the counter, presumably to avoid any angry, sticky-fingered mobs. I once had my order a bit messed up, but I gave it a mulligan because it was still tasty as hell. 4.5 - 5.0 stars. Just be consistent with preparing orders correctly, and consider building a bathroom (which is obviously no small expense). Or place a "Not a bathroom" sign on that door. You know which door I'm talking about. The one which looks like it houses a bathroom. Hell, I think that even just a sink back there would do. I was a saucy mess last time. Anyway, back to my fellow Yelpers: do yourselves a favor and visit The Burger Grille. read more

Bummer. That's really the only way to explain Burger Grille. I had fallen love with this place and thought they were onto something, but....... Upon returning to the Grille for a replay, I fell OUT of love. I had ordered a cheese pizza. The only phrase to describe it, really, is "phoned in". It would have been better if I had a store brand, frozen pizza. The dough was literally rubbery and difficult to chew. The sauce was like tomato paste from the can, super acidic and thick, and the cheese was a cheap cheddar/mozz blend. I had a bite and was immediately disappointed. I asked my girl how the burger was. She had ordered a bacon burger. She said it tasted just how it looked, dry. It actually looked like a burger you might get in a school cafeteria. The fries were o.k. though. At first I thought maybe the newness of this place had worn off, but the more I think about it, it seems to be a matter of mismanagement. As food costs rose along with fuel prices and delivery charges were being added onto the bills from purveyors, Burger Grille did what many struggling restaurants mistakenly do.....they cheap out. Cheaper cheese, lesser quality meats and produce, and workers that have less experience and work for lower pay. These things are NEVER a recipe for success. It seems Burger Grille fell into that trap. Most diners will pay a little more for a better quality product, don't lower your standards to save pennies, because the repeat business is where the dollars are. Really a shame. If this place is still open in 2013, I'll give it another chance then. read more

We were looking for a burger spot after the zoo & yelped pointed us here. Very happy it did. Nice, clean spot...walk up, place your order off the chalkboard & grab a seat. Employees were very friendly & patient as we navigated the menu. I had the Punisher which had a healthy dose of jalapeños on top...very tasty & nicely cooked burger. We tried sweet potato, regular & curly fries. All were very good, hot & fresh. Portions were good...we all left stuffed & happy. Cool wooden serving trays & paper-wrapped tables for kids to draw on. This place has such a CLASSIC feel. It's so iconic. I've always loved to go here it's such a family atmosphere. My two kids loved to come here when I took them years ago, they always LOVED it. The Uburger is Uxbridge at the core and is creative and always perfect. My son loves the patriot burger which is also unique. They are always so friendly. Sometimes I wish they were open a little later since I sometimes get out of work late, but I understand that they are family owned and I totally respect that!! FRESH hand cut sweet potato fries. Juicy, dripping with yumminess cheese burger-you can even choose provolone instead of processed american. Plus the vegetarian option is outstanding-not a boring veggie patty. That was our lunch today and extremely satisfying. If you are driving on 146 and are hungry for a takeout burger, it's well worth the 10 minute hop off the highway instead of throwing away money at McDonald's. 4 stars because no bathroom. read more

I tried this place for the first time today, and I know I'll be back. I ordered from the Specials board, a "Memphis burger," 4oz patty with cheese, pulled pork, cole slaw, bbq sauce, and a big onion ring. Nearly $7 for only a burger, but it was really good. I wasn't in a mood to try the fries, but they looked good. No parking lot, but the street parking was available. Clean interior, clear view into a clean, well-organized kitchen. Stumbled upon this place passing through and thought would give it a shot. I mean who doesn't want to try and discover a great burger place. I mean it is part of the summer routine and all American like the hot dog lol. Upon walking in, it's small and tiny inside with some tables to sit at and the normal diner style counter seating at the windows. Major draw back is no bathroom is available, had I known this before ordering I wouldn't have ordered. They do have hand pump sanitizer around but still prefer washing my hands before eating. Service was ok not to friendly or talkative but guess he's not there to make friends lol. On this day ordered the build your own burger and the meat of the burger was ok. Nothing great of a mixture of meat and don't really think it had much sirloin in it. To get a great burger that is a must. Will cost more but it's steak and we'll worth it. Will have to try one of there stuff burgers if I go back and they did have outside seating. The handout fries remind of 5 guys type fries so if that's your thing I'm sure you will love them. read more

Stumbled onto this place while working in Uxbridge. So happy I did. I had the lunch box which is the grille burger, curly fries, a chocolate chip cookie & a can of soda. A bargain for $8.59. The burger was a good size, 6oz. It was cooked really well & the spicy ketchup was amazing. Def found a new spot to eat at when ever I work in Uxbridge.
