I was staying at route 66 for the night and i stumbled upon this restaurant called burger rush across the street from the wigwam motel I was staying at. It was my first time ever trying this restaurant and it was one of the best burgers Ive had in a while. I got the jalapeño pineapple cheeseburger and it was one of the tastiest, juiciest, and flavorful burger i've had in a long time. In addition to the burger, I got jalapeño poppers and fries that were very warm, crispy, and fresh. The service was also great and quick, with no long wait time and kind servers. Absolutely one of the best burgers I have ever tried!!! Even though I ordered mine protein style the patty had so much flavor, and was wrapped beautifully. My husband got The Megarush burger (heart attack waiting to happen) and WOW, the best ever. Fancy burger restaurants come no where near to this. Better than Tams, and may I say possibly (In&out). Slators, Eureka burger, and even Gordan Ramsys burger in Vegas did not even make my eyes roll back like this burger did.... it is just so good!! First time trying, The Burger Rush. I have to admit, I was a little disappointed with our experience. We chose to do drive thru, I'm not sure if we would have had a better experience eating inside but our drive thru experience was OK. The boy who helped us in the drive thru was nice. I'm not sure who was placing everything in our bags but when we got home... our ranch dressing and marinara sauces were never closed. It spilled all over our food, making everything soggy. We ordered TONS of food: 6 burger meals, carne asada fries, mozzarella sticks, and 2 sides of Mac and Cheese. We asked for a good amount of yellow chilies, when we got home we only had 2 chilies in a little plastic bag. You think we'd get at least 6, due to how much food we got. 2 for each person would have at least been considerate. I thought the burgers were pretty good but my husband and his brother thought they were salty, didn't finish them. My disappointment is based on how half-fast everything was thrown into our bags. To me, the food was pretty good. I'd like to try it again to see if I have a different experience.. but it definitely won't be going through drive thru. read more

After a long search for a Burger spot we came across The Burger Rush. Great tasting burger you can taste the grill on the patty cooked perfectly. The cheese is melted and the leaf lettuce crisp and fresh. Not to mention the delicious thousand island sauce, which pairs quite nicely with all the other ingredients. Quality could be better. (As far as the burgers go) It's basic stuff you'd find at Smart and Final. It's honestly not worth the trip to make, unless you're near the area. Burger Rush in my eyes has big shoes to fill, so this review is a little different than my norm. Prior to Burger Rush, it use to be a BBQ spot, which was a favorite of my Pops. I have memories picking up BBQ platters there, but, recently, my Pops passed away. I've driven past the new Burger Rush numerous times a little salty that the BBQ spot had closed, though, I decided to stop in the name of being a foodie and giving Burger Rush a try. If you look at any other of my reviews I normally am pretty consistent on adding a photo of my order, but in this case I decided to leave it out as I want to focus to their menu, and upon my future returns update this review with photos of my orders. I told you this review would be different that my norm. Their menu has a plethora of meaty options to chose from... all of which sounded amazing, if you do a bit of research and find Burger Rush on Yelp, and go through their reviews you'll get a good sense of their quality. If you look over their menu you'll see their are a great start for any time of the day whether you're wanting breakfast, lunch, or dinner, even going farther into it, they offer snack style options and healthy choices- salads and wraps. So, on my first visit, I decided to throw a curve ball and order a Philly Cheesesteak. Why do I consider this a curve ball? I've been to too many places that just sauté some bell peppers, toss it with some meat, add a slice of cheese, and throw it on a roll considering it a Philly Cheesesteak. Burger Rush, though, I feel they could of better chopped the meat into smaller pieces to better infuse the texture with as traditional Philly, the flavor was on point. There was a great balance of chopped bell, onions, meat, and cheese with an amazingly fresh roll. I was pretty impressed. I look forward to coming back and trying out some other items on their menu. These were great! I went to get takeout for my family from fontana, so I was a bit worried because burgers get soggy fast, but they were still good! I love this BBQ burger WITH tomatoes pickles. Easily now one of my go to burger spots. Fast, friendly service and food is served hot. Had the avocado burger and was it juicy. The buns were soft and the spread complimented the fresh lettuce,pickles and red onions very well. Simply a great tasting classic burger. My girlfriend had the fried chicken and she loved it. Again, that meal too was served hot. Takes a few minutes to make, but very well worth the wait. I almost forgot to mention the crinkle fries, my favorite! Reminds me of my childhood. Decided to try out a new place. Looked interesting because we wanted some pastrami fries and a patty melt. Ordered some food to go for the family and when we got home, part of order was missing. Drove back to get the missing item. Food was super bland. No seasoning in the onion ring batter or on the fries. Dressings and other condiments are extra too.
