So glad this opened in Brisbane! They offer numerous flavors of bubble tea (boboa) that can be customized for sweetness. I had the traditional black milk tea with pearls. Pears were great with just the right amount of sweetness and chewiness. The number of flavors is smaller than most bubble tea places, but I normally stick to black tea, matcha, and taro anyway. Also tried the "kaya toast" which I loved eating in Singapore. It was good, but didn't match the coconut+pandan leaf flavor I know from Singapore. Perhaps it's a different style. I was so excited when this place opened up in Brisbane - a 5 min drive from my work place. Since they've opened, I've come quite a few times and my experience each time has been dramatically different. My first time here, a young gentleman with glasses made our drinks. They came out great! My friend ordered their coffee which was nicely brewed and had a great flavor to it. I got their matcha green tea latte which came out beautifully layered with milk on the bottom and the matcha tea on top. The matcha flavor was super prominent and was exactly like the latte they make at Boba Guys in SF. The second time I came here, my friend and I ordered the same drinks thinking we were in for a treat as good as last time. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. This time a girl made our drinks and the coffee was super watered down. When my friend asked for ice coffee (like he did the first time around), the girl seemed thoroughly confused and had to ask around to see how to make the coffee iced. My matcha tea latte came out entirely mixed together (which is not how a latte is supposed to be served) and was bland. It lacked matcha flavor entirely. We asked them to remake our drinks, and the 2nd time around, the came out just as bad, so we figured we'd takes our losses and just go. I came again this past week and had by far the worst experience I've had here so far. My friend and I came and ordered 2 matcha green tea lattes, fingers crossed, hoping that this time would be a hit. Boy were we wrong. We placed our orders around 12:00pm. Since their little tea making station in the back is open, we watched as the girl making our drinks struggled to mix and pour everything out. She messed up a couple times and the cashier up front had to go in and help her. Finally, after 20 minutes, our drinks came out. They were entirely mixed (no beautiful milk and tea gradient to my dismay). I tried my drink and noticed that there was no sugar in my drink at all. My friend said the same about his, so we asked them to remake our drinks. Instead of actually remaking the drinks, the lady just poured out some of the tea, added sugar syrup, and just stirred everything around. She passed them back to us and I tried it again. It entirely lacked matcha flavor and essentially just tasted like sweetened milk, but at this point, my friend and I had to get back to work, considering it took them 20 minutes to make the original drinks in the first place. Note: we were the only customers at the time too, so it wasn't like they were swamped with orders or anything. I'd definitely say this place is a hit or miss. Every time I come, I cross my fingers and toes that the young gentleman who made my drink the first time around is working so I can get the perfect drinks he made for us, but you never know who is working behind the counter till you actually go. Because of my past 2 horrible experiences though, I'm sad to say that this place only gets 2 stars in my book. I was yelping a boba place around my area one day, and was happily surprised when I saw that this place serves Boba Guys. The world needs more locations, let's be real. My go-to is the Strawberry Jasmine Tea Fresca! So refreshing! The classic milk tea is also a favorite of mine. Inside, it still looks like a work in progress, but as long as they continue serving great boba, I don't mind one bit. Free parking out front doesn't hurt things either. Way less crowded than their other locations so you can get your boba fix a little quicker! read more

Always wanted to try boba guys but never had the patience to wait in a long line so decided to come here. Very short non existent line (middle of the day). Love that there is free parking all around. Tried the matcha latte with grass jelly, and it was good. It did not tasted like watered down tea but did taste more like the milk they used but still good. By far one of my most favorite shops to visit when it comes to milk tea. Every Monday my girlfriend and I go down after brunch and we order the strawberry matcha with oat milk because unfortunately we are both lactose intolerant. We always walk in and see the same familiar faces welcoming us back. Earvin and Renegreg are 2 of the best people I've ever met through the experience of ordering milk tea. They always ask you how your drink taste, always molding your order to your exact preference. Not only that but they try to get to know you. Basically, you go in for milk tea but you leave with a perfect drink and an amazing experience. It's Tuesday today, I already look forward to seeing them again while sipping on my strawberry matcha with oat milk. read more

This is an awesome little boba guys pop for those who aren't willing to drive to SF for some quality boba, butttt they close really early and aren't open on weekends, which makes it hard to get boba if you are a student. But, I still come after school ASAP to beat the line and get my favorite jasmine. read more

I literally walked in this place at 4 and they refused to make me a drink saying they close right at 4 and that they emptied all of their drinks out! maybe this place is still new, but meh.. my drink was so different from other boba guys. I had a Hong Kong style milk tea. My drink didn't taste like milk tea at all; it tasted like brown sugar in water. Super sweet also when I clearly asked for 50% sugar! My drink was also 75% full and it didn't even fill up the whole cup. I will try again next time.. read more

really admire that they actually opened a boba venue in the small city of brisbane...that's insane =) and a good one at that. menu is limited, but drinks are fab to the last drop/sip. only three toppings: boba, almond jelly (homemade) and grass jell (homemade) - yummers! definitely a must try if you're in the area. couple negatives are, they're only open M-F (no weekend - shucks!) and close at 4pm (too early!). yummy desserts are available as well, my favorite, bingka bites and innovative cotton candies. read more
