Best time in Snowmass! This was such a unique experience, and was totally unexpected. My friend and I went for lunch over the weekend. We had a reservation for lunch and were a bit late since I fell on the way to the restaurant (still beginner to intermediate skier). Peter introduced himself to us as our server, and I knew right away that we were in good hands. What an absolute gem of a person. Lots of skiing tips and recommendations from him all while taking care of his other tables. We stayed much longer than we had planned because we wanted to keep talking to Peter! So happy we had lunch here. Fantastic food, ambience and, of course, service. Highly recommend!!

Just a nice latte to warm up between runs

Super fun little spot in the middle of the slopes. It's a fancy restaurant not a casual spot so plan on dressing nice for dinner. Obviously for lunch they understand you will arrive in snow gear. The staff are very courteous and service is prompt. The fire pit outside is a nice break from the snow if you want to relax and enjoy a wood burning fire.

The ride was fun, a bit cramped, and for the poor folks who chose to ride the wagon being pulled by the snowcat, cold.

We visited over Winter Break and tried Sage right after Christmas, as a family of five. We were…read moreall impressed and highly recommend visiting Sage...a great 4 star experience. Food was very good and service (Gray was our waiter) was excellent! Our favorite dishes were: Wedge Salad, Crab Cakes, Ahi Tuna Tacos, Short Ribs, and their ice cream and churros were fantastic! Atmosphere and ambiance were great...beautiful views and worth a visit!

Servers were responsive…read moreand friendly and the 4 entrees we tried were well prepared with a very nice presentation, albeit unsurprisingly expensive, considering the restaurant is located in the Snowmass Club. The Elk in particular was excellently prepared and delicious. The sides and appetizers were somewhat less impressive - the lobster risotto seemed heavy without much flavor and the arugula salad was absolutely loaded with beets, which one may not be expecting. With regards to the atmosphere, considering it is late December in Aspen/Snowmass, presumably one of if not the busiest time of year, when nearly all the restaurants in Aspen are fully booked, there were shockingly few customers, leading to a somewhat awkward feel. The Snowmass club itself is beautiful and luxurious but the restaurant decor is a bit lacking for character. Overall, a nice place for dinner with good food, but given the variety of other great options in Aspen at roughly the same or lower price, it would be hard to recommend as a first choice.

This review is for both the restaurant and the room service (which is an identical menu). I would…read moresuggest you use the room service option. If you are going to leave your room for dinner/lunch there are better options. Lunch/dinner: The turkey club is fantastic. The French fries are not. Substitute anything else (including the sweet potato fries which are amazing). The New England clam chowder is better than decent but not amazing. Worth ordering if you are in the mood for soup. The Caesar salad is large and flavorful. The grilled chicken addition was not as pleasant... albeit passable. The chopped salad was great... although I held the blue cheese and had the dressing on the side. Breakfast: The eggs were prepared to order correctly and properly. The turkey sausage was waaaaaaaay too dry... even at the end of the breakfast time span, meals should be prepared fresh and correctly. This definitely appeared to be turkey sausage cooked long ago and set under a heat lamp to shrivel up and desiccate. Very disappointing. Similarly the roasted potatoes were dry and over cooked... see above. The Greek yogurt was not sweeter enough for my taste. Very little honey on top. But they did provide extra honey with the jam and butter for the toast so I could add more. The berries were fresh and delicious! Overall I would recommend lunch/dinner in room service. Avoid breakfast. And if you want to leave the room; leave the resort and try something different!

Everything that they make is cooked to order. They have several breakfast packages. We booked one where we could spend up to $60 per day for 2 people. We weren't sure if the daughter's breakfast was included. At $18 for breakfast, and $5 for a cup of coffee, it was easy to reach $60. The daughter and I had our waiter well trained. He sat us down at a window table every morning and gave us coffee and juice while we waited for the wife's take out breakfast. After the wife's breakfast was done, he allowed us to go deliver the breakfast before coming back and ordering our breakfast. It is better than a typical hotel buffet because everything is cooked to order. You do have a lot more variety than a typical hotel buffet. I got their classic breakfast everyday. They cooked my over medium eggs perfectly. Even though I ordered their classic breakfast everyday, I could try different combos like ham, bacon or sausage. Daughter liked their burritos, and lollipop pancakes. Service was good. Everyone one of the employees working here are foreign students working on their hospitality degrees. They all spoke English pretty well. They came by frequently to check on us, and to fill our glasses with coffee or juice. It's a nice place for breakfast, with a great view out their window. It is way better than a hotel breakfast buffet. The daughter's breakfast was included in our stay. They started our day off right.
