They close at 2pm so don't delay. There will be a line/wait on busy days but they either give you a buzzer or take your phone number to text when your table is ready. Giving you time to feed the one armed bandits before you feed yourself. Good variety of entrées, we like some of their Asian offerings. Desserts are good too as they are connected with the bakery. Definitely worth a try. Enjoy!

I love this place for brunch. I ordered the steak and eggs with hashbrowns and a side of white rice. Our waiter Tyler was really nice and kind and always checked on us to see if we needed anything additional. Cant wait to come back here again.

Craved for the best bread you can't find anywhere and drove all the way here. This time we had the clam chowder. So creamy and you can taste the clam's freshness. The chicken Caesar salad was perfect. Best of all, is the prime rib. Perfectly cooked to my liking. The meat is fresh, tender and moist. Over all, The Cafe is your casual fine dining. High quality food and service from the entire staff. I've been here several times and I always forget to take pictures. Every time food is served to our table, can't wait but start devouring. Long drive and it's all worth it.

Appreciation -"recognition and enjoyment of the good qualities of someone or something". In this case, commendable old fashion values of "Quality & Service" Harder and harder to find these days. It's all the VV restaurants. & hotel ( Heaven's terrific at the front desk) in Valley View both food & service! We generally like to stay at Valley View Hotel because of just that "Quality & tip top service" What we take for granted is the wonderful breakfast that comes with your stay. Today, we didn't stay but love "The Cafe" for their unbelievable menu, I had Steak & eggs for breakfast but it comes with choices, I love their fruit, whoever picks their fruit it's absolutely delicious!! and like I said quality & tip top service even when it's so crowded or they're short handed, you can see that every team member is working hard. We've stayed at a Marriott where you pay for a simple room and comes with what they call breakfast, think on that for a moment , then appreciate the wonderful food and people creating such a warm environment and to top it off, absolutely wonderful food! From the moment you step foot in the cafe, Diana , Mariko Cordell Tyler Marty and so many more are like a well organized team, kudos to all of them ! Take a look at the extensive menu and enjoy

My husband and I ate here while we were staying at Harrah's. It's hard to get me away from Earl's, but I was in the mood for a change. I got the steak sandwich, which was good - very rich and somewhat greasy, but flavor was awesome! It also came with Parmesan tots, which were perfectly crunchy. My husband got the pot roast, which was super hearty. Staff was super friendly and they have a robot server to help bring out the food. Their menu has a ton of options if you're looking for anything from burgers to chicken tenders to pasta, and they're open late, so it's perfect for any craving you may have!

We had Sunday lunch here and it was such a treat. Service was great and the food fresh and tasty as well as generous portions. I had the chicken Caesar salad and hubby had the kung pao shrimp. The complementary bread basket and whipped butter were also great. We had a nice view of the mountains from our table. We give this restaurant an overall five star rating and will definitely be back.

I've eaten at the Café at Harrah's Southern California countless times, but this is my first review. A girlfriend and I spent the night at the hotel and decided to have breakfast at the Café. We both ordered the Avocado Toast. It was an everything bagel topped with whipped cream cheese, sliced avocado, baby heirloom tomatoes and drizzled with balsamic glaze. It was served with two poached eggs, four sausages (several choices), and a cup of fruit. The Avocado Toast was absolutely delicious! The portion size was large. We could've easily shared one breakfast. The only issue was that the service was horrible! I asked for a coffee refill and waited a long time. The server barely checked on us, and I had to ask the lady cleaning tables to ask our server for the check and takeout containers. I definitely would've given more stars had the service been decent.

I've had breakfast here with my family several times before; usually the morning after spending the night at the hotel. I heard the cafe recently reopened after remodeling, but it looked the same to me. If you're lucky to be seated near the windows, you'll be treated to the views of the Palomar mountains. Came here yesterday with my mom. We stood in line for about 20 minutes before finally getting to the host stand, was informed it would be about a 30 minute wait for black card holders & would receive a text when the table was ready. Got a text about 10 minutes later, and we were seated a few minutes after checking back in. My mom and I both opted for the steak & eggs breakfast, which came with choice of bread and either tater tots o'Brien or hash browns. The steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered, tender and seasoned well. Our server was quick and efficient, and kept my coffee warm & topped off.

I came for breakfast but ended up ordering lunch. I ordered the Chicken Piccata. This is the best Chicken Piccata I have ever had. The chicken was perfectly tender and the sauce was creamy with the perfect amount of wine and butter. This dish came with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and white carrots. It came with choice of soup or salad. The Wonton Soup was adequate. I think I will try the Chicken Tortilla soup next time. The entire dish was very pleasing. The portion was enough for me to take half of it home for lunch. The service is friendly and accomodating. The dinning room has beautiful views of the near by mountains.

Prime rib hash.. not bad with egg whites but heavy

Decent place since my wife is Diamond. Service was good and ambience was fair. For my choice, tried the hash since Prime Rib roast was taken off the menu, prices got a bit higher but just as long as you swipe for your comps. It was heavy, prime rib was kind of tough but still okay to try out.

We originally wanted to eat at another casino eatery but they no longer took reservations and we were told to wait in the bar and just walk up whenever we saw people leaving. Whaaaat? Ridiculous so we left and decided to visit Harrah's, which we hadn't visited in a while. Hubby wanted to build up tier credits to get the $100 Target gift card. Anyhow, we were famished and there was no wait in a line to eat here. Our server was a very sweet, friendly, and attentive. She apparently had many regulars as she was speaking to them like they were family. For starters we had the dinner salad with Ranch dressing and it was very fresh & yummy. Hubby ordered the BLTA with Parmesan fries and I ordered the grilled cheese (with Cheddar & Swiss) on sourdough sandwich with the Parmesan fries. Both sandwiches & the fries were delicious! My sandwich was huge and so cheesy that I could only eat half! Hubby devoured his meal. Our server made sure our glasses of iced teas remained filled. Sorry, we were so hungry that I forgot to take photos of our plates! The restaurant has low lighting and it's very clean. We noticed they installed aesthetically pleasing plexiglass between the booths. When they first opened years ago they had a very extensive menu but it all changed after the pandemic. We can always find good eats here with great customer service.

Biggest negative to this place is the eating location. Right there, in front, surrounded by slot machines and smoking patrons. There are no seats in the non-smoking casino other than those in front of the table games and slot machines. Definitely would be nice to take a break from the smoke to eat your meal but... Most things on the menu are good. While you are standing in line, you can look directly at the meals others are eating in the "dining" area. As noted by its name, this place served a fusion of Chinese and Korean cuisines. Their Encinitas location took over what used to be a roadside diner along N Coast Hwy 101. The seating capacity was less than 40 people which included a few high-top counter spots. At my last visit, I came for a late dinner before their closing time. A large menu was posted on the wall behind the service counter that listed about two dozen food offerings. The items seemed to be comfort food like pot stickers, spring rolls, fried rice, and chicken wings but flavored with unique combinations of seasonings and spices. I started my meal with the Marinated Beef Tri-Tip Skewers which came as a set of three and a Chinese mustard for dipping. The meat was very tender and well-seasoned. I also ordered the Cumin Lamb Stir Fry which the cashier said was medium spicy. After tasting a couple of bites of the noodles from the serving bowl, I agreed that the heat level was moderate, even for my palate. I thought the portion size should have been more for the price. That was my main criticism for both items, otherwise the food was solid for an Asian fusion eatery.

We would have waited and the buffet seems well worth it. We just know that in the future we will get on the list BEFORE we start playing vs after when we're starving). For starters, we were greeted and seated immediately by a wonderfully pleasant team. Our server, Paulina, was incredibly kind and attentive. Our orders were placed quickly and our apps took no time to make it to the table. Everything was hot when it arrived. We ordered: Beer-Brined Chicken Tenders - 10/10: AMAZING! The tenders have light breading, so its mostly meat without much batter, which is our preference. The buffalo sauce wasn't too spicy (for those who like buffalo flavor without an intense kick) and the Ranch and Blue Cheese were both really good. If you like blue cheese on the creamier side without a ton of crumbles then you will like this one. French Onion Soup - 7/10: REALLY GOOD FLAVOR! Would order again! I only gave it a 7/10 because the Swiss cheese was burnt in the middle, but the taste overall was still really good so it was easy to look past this. Rotisserie Prime Rib (Medium) - 10/10: I used to LOOOOOVE Longhorn Steakhouse's Prime Rib. It was one of the only places that I could get a solid prime rib with au jus and a well-seasoned outer crush without paying premium prices (e.g The Prime Rib). This was gooooood - great portion size with a tender texture at the right temperature. Not only was the steak cooked perfectly, but those may have been the BEST FREAKING MASHED POTATOES I'VE EVER HAD!!!!! They were so fluffy, creamy and buttery - literally perfect (to me). I don't ever order mashed potatoes, just not my thing, I prefer rice, but these? These are the one exception. I was super skeptical because other than not being a fan of mashed potatoes in general, I don't like horseradish and they were advertised as horseradish mashed potatoes. I am forever changed (when it comes to these specifically) - I even strongly considered ordering a side to go. Also, the asparagus was really good too! Cooked perfectly with a light crunch when you bite into it. Manhattan Deep Dish Pizza - 10/10: My husband ordered this and he was singing its praises the entire ride home! When it comes to pizza, my husband is picky - especially with crust. The crust HAS TO be right, and this one was that. The breading had a soft center with a crispy outer layer just the way he likes it. They also bring a mini spice rack with oregano, Parmesan and red pepper flakes and he was over the moon about that! It's such a big portion that two people can share it. He ended up taking the other half home and popped it right in the oven to have more as soon as we got home. And the cost! We paid less than $100 for our meal (one soda, two apps, and two entrees), and this was before we used the players club coupons*! Overall, we had a wonderful experience! Very spacious and clean with a staff that operates as a team (shoutout to Claudia who also helped us when we needed it). We didn't have any desserts or drinks this trip, but the menus for both look great! We had such a great time between the casino and dinner that we're already planning another trip back! *If you're a couple or a group visiting the casino for the first time, they offer a coupon for this restaurant when you receive your players card. We both were able to redeem our coupons ($10 each) and got $20 off our meal (which was already under $100 before the coupons).
