A friend had told me about them and when I saw the truck recently at a food truck meetup, I was determined to try them right away. I was their first customer of the day (lucky me!) and the staff seemed really energetic and enthusiastic about their items. I love pulled pork morning, noon and night (minus the morning) so I had to get the Interstate BBQ sandwich. The Interstate is $7 and is a BBQ Pork Sandwich-hand seasoned pork shoulder, smoked for twelve hours, chopped, sauced, & served on your choice of bun (according to their menu). You can pick from a brioche roll or pretzel bread. You can also get the sandwich in slider form for just $3.50. I liked the sandwich an awful lot, ever so slightly dry but great flavor. It's left me wanting more! They have a Bacon chocolate brownie....Yea I'm going to need to get that the next time I get Best Truckin' BBQ. And oh yes, there will be a next time. Our faces def had the WTF face after our first sips. The meat was great quality (this is why I'm giving 4 stars), BUT it has zero flavor. It was the blandest taco I have ever been served. I'm not sure if we stopped in on an off day or if the meat really just always has no flavor. The sautéed onions were honest the best part. They were so tender and flavorful. A poor choice on our part and very disappointed overall. Hot dogs were cold to the touch like they had been sitting out for a half hour or were barely cooked. Although the young man inside the truck stated the hot dogs were 100% beef, it almost seemed like they had the texture and look of the chicken-pork variety. All of the available chips were all thrown/mixed into a large cooler as were the available drink choices. (no sugar free or diet drinks of any kind were available when we were there) The table with condiments was 90% empty and obviously hadn't been maintained or replenished. Might just be because they were at a large-scale event and couldn't keep up or just had a bad day. Regardless, we don't need to risk getting food poisoning/etc. (luckily, we didn't) Will definitely steer clear of them if they are at next years event.

The waffadilla was rich, savory, and cheesy with a nice outer crispness to it. It was so good, but I definitely couldn't have this for a meal. However the classic waffadilla does make for the ultimate snack food. I left a piece for my wife to try the next day and she went and bought one the same day.
