It was a great place for hanging out before the game! It had a great energy and full of excitement! The staff were (and had to) very efficient with the orders and serving the customer. I would have go back here. I went as part of a large group with reservations ( so they should have been expecting us). Arrived at 1:15pm expecting to order brunch ( cut off at 2). No one came to even give us a glass of water by 1:45; at which time server came and was told some people wanted brunch. She kept taking drink orders, finally came back to take orders ( by this time it's like 2 minutes to 2pm); and has the nerve to come back to tell us the kitchen says it's too late for brunch. We had to point out that we waited 45 minutes prior to ordering. The venue was unprepared for a large group; service took forever; food was mediocre. Brunch was not worth the wait- very small portions ; one person's soup was stone cold and had to be sent back. Would not recommend this place read more

I was recently here on Monday April 13th before the Oilers/Avalanche game and had an awful experience. I asked if a game could be put on the tv in front of us and the bartender put a different game on then was requested, which was not a big deal. I waited 15 minutes and asked for the game we wanted to be put on. The bartender reluctantly said yes and then tried to put the game on the tv but was unsuccessful after a few minutes of attempting. I apologized for the inconvenience but she proceeded to give me dirty looks which is fine at the end of the day. What I can't ignore and reason for writing this review is when ordering a new round of drinks, I saw her use a previously poured drink that was sitting out under the taps and poured some in my glass before filling the rest of the glass up from the tap. Most likely this was not the first drink she had done this with but it was the first I noticed. I did not yell or even point this out, but chose not to drink the new beer and closed out my tab. The bartender did not ask why I l would leave a fresh beer after just ordering, so she knew I saw her but did not acknowledge how foul and revolting it is to put (at best old beer, at worse who knows what) in a patron's drink just for being so rude as to ask for a game on at a sports bar!!! Will never come back here again and they should fire this bartender for such an awful thing as pouring foreign substances into the drink of an unexpecting patron. Ruined my plans to hang out before the game. read more

This is the perfect spot to watch the big game. We came here for the Oilers playoffs and we were not disappointed. First off, the rooftop patio is so gorgeous, they have turf up there, screens everywhere including a big huge screen and tons of seating. Inside the icehouse is more seating, so much seating that you're sure to find a spot. We came early before the game to grab our pick of seats and we had perfect seats near the big screen TVs inside the main floor. There are even couches there too if you just want to drink and not eat it's a comfortable spot. The staff and service are top notch here. Even with the overwhelming amount of seats and tables, the staff is so great at making sure our needs were met. They are friendly and interactive and it was a great experience. For food and drinks, we got some of the game day specials including beer and mountain joe (which is a local coffee / vodka beverage and is super tasty!!) we also ordered the steak bites which are delicious and come out piping hot. We also got the nachos which were pretty loaded with stuff and layered so you didn't end up with just a bunch of chips at the bottom which was nice. The fans here are also great to be around, no fights, lots of security too, and if you want to treat yourself, for $30 or $40 you can go into the Ice room! In there they provide you with canada goose parkas, and there is a bar made out of ice along with a throne chair for your instagram selfies. You get a choice of 6, 0.5oz shots of vodka. There are a ton of different vodka's to choose from as well so that is such a fun treat and experience. I would recommend this for someone who maybe is visiting Edmonton and wants that "winter vibe" without the commitment of all the snow outdoors hahaha. Overall I would definitely come back here again for another game day, birthday celebration, or just for some awesome fun patio vibes. read more

Awful steak served with the 'cowboy poke' dish. I did not expect perfection, however the meat was too grisly to eat (I'll eat fat but I couldn't chew it) and the rest was bland as heck. It was a plate of rice and edamame in a drizzle of chipotle aioli. The waitress was lovely however. read more

Pretty high end as sports bars go. I mean how many sports bars have dry aging refrigerators up front where you can see them loaded with beef? I decided to go for the dry aged ribeye (5 stars highly recommend!), and my. Issues went for burgers (also great). The staff was fun - the usual smoking hot servers you find at great sports bars - and we closed it down so there may or may not have been shots involved . read more

First of all the atmosphere for hockey is amazing! Trophies are all over and look real! The forks are shaped like hockey sticks. The food was off the charts good. Sis not taste at all like a chain restaurant type of a meal! Special thanks to Nikki and Emma for making our night amazing Also Oilers played while we ate and they won which sparked a chain reaction of red lights and sirens. They do not honor their reservations. I had booked a reservation 6 months in advance to be able to have dinner before our concert and they would not honor it. I tried to talk to the manager about this issue and they wouldn't even return my phone call about it. read more
