I've been in a bunch of bird shops in the DFW area and this is by far the one most "alive". They keep it clean, treat their customers well, and most important, make sure their birds are healthy and happy. The management, specifically Denise and Errol, are more concerned with running a great business and treating their customers (and birds) right, even if it results in their probably making less of a profit. For 4 weeks, we would come up to the store before opening hours to handfeed her. Before we knew it, she was looking forward to our visits and blossoming into her little personality. They worked on socializing her and harness training her. This is not the time to be cheap. This is a lifelong companion. Handfeedings and socializing parrots is a lot of work. The sweet ladies at the store spend all day caring, training, and loving on all the parrots ( big and small). Maya is well adjusted to our family life , I'm not sure I would have had the confidence without Dallas Parrots. I still go there for toys and treats even though it's a 30 minute drive for me.

It was nowhere to be found. We were warmly greeted by Steve and he took excellent care of us. I had several questions and he not only answered them, he did so with a smile. We were able to get the part that we needed so our well fed birds have a place to gather around and grab a bite to eat. They have a huge supply of anything you need to feed outdoor birds - feeders, seed, wind chimes, ... anything that makes your front or backyard oasis more cozy. I also saw online that they have a "Daily Savings Club" that offers discounts on purchases for a $25 annual membership fee. We also have another smart bird feeder with a camera that identifies and films any movement. Both feeders are located in our front yard (away from the dog that has backyard access). The birds love to visit both feeders and we enjoy feeding them. This store provides the ultimate in customer service and quality products!
