I should start by saying that I think birds are just the most terrifying creatures. Hovering in the desert sun, waiting for my body to give in to the impossible thirst so they can tear the flesh from my hollowed carcass. Basically they are mangy, feathered, flying piranhas. Pure nightmare fuel. So when my mom requested a bird bath for her birthday, and this place was suggested to me, needless to say, my anxiety was crippling. I sat in the parking lot for 20 minutes just mustering up the courage to face whatever horrors might lurk inside. But to my surprise... What. A. Fantastic. Experience. First, the staff was wonderful. Friendly, calming and knowledgeable, answering all my questions. Also, they had a WIDE selection of bird related accessories. (Do you know how many variety of bird seed there are?!) And it turns out I might have a few small misconceptions about birds and they're murderous intentions. Ultimately I made my purchase and they gift wrapped it beautifully. I will surely be returning, and I absolutely recommend this place for bird enthusiasts or even anyone terrified of the plotting avian hoards. Bonus Tip: Bird accessories are VERY popular right now as many people are spending more time enjoying outside activities with their kids they can't escape from. This little company is a gem! Spectacular people work here! Birdie, the owner is so kind and thoughtful. The staff is so eager to help and answer any of your questions. Since COVID-19 they help you carry your bags to your vehicle. Beautiful bird baths, humming bird feeders, bird seeds, etc. recently, they've started carrying handmade earrings. Very pretty! Each pair includes different birds with beads etc. The staff all wear face masks and are very mindful of following Social distancing and keeping a limited amount of customers in their store to prevent over crowding. read more

This place is wonderful! They have everything you need to meet all your birding needs and then some. A huge selection of feeders and feed and other accessories. I could spend hours in the store. Everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help answer any questions you might have. They made great suggestions that helped me bring in more birds to my backyard. They have a great program that you can sign up for that gives you some great savings. They even have events where they will clean your feeders. You will LOVE this place! I am not a big bird feeder myself - but my parents are, and I get alllll of their gifts from here! they LOVE everything I have bought for them and it is too easy! Birdie and Maria are just awesome. I know nothing, and they know everything, so I just go in and let them guide me. there is always a sale, and joining their rewards club is a great deal - I made my $ back on my first purchase. you want to get on their email list too, so you know what's on sale. they have a great inventory of feeders and bird food and gifts and bird baths! my mom wanted a bluebird house - which I had never heard of - and they had 4 choices in the store! from cheap to expensive. they have some NICE things in here if you know what you are doing. but, they also have easy & less expensive options if you just want to dabble. if you are a novice, they will guide you. the store is in the shopping center at Eldorado and Hardin - by Starbucks and Papa Murphy's and Hallmark. just go in, I promise you will not be disappointed! read more

Thank you thank you to the sweet ladies at Wild Birds Unlimited. I was running errands this morning and found a fledgling bird in the parking spot I was pulling into. I saw another bird nearby that had unfortunately been killed. Sadly, I think that was it's mother. Anyway, I took the fledgling into WBU and they were so kind and helpful. They helped care for it while I made calls and figured out what to do next. I found out that Dr. Hickman at Animal Medical Center will rescue a baby bird so I brought the little guy there. Anyway, I just wanted to post this review to thank the ladies for their kindness. The store is awesome, by the way. And they TRULY do love birds. read more
