AMAZING food and FABULOUS service!!! Great atmosphere with beautiful views! We drove about an hour to come try this place after hearing so many great things about it. It was definitely worth the drive and DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Our wait was pleasurable. We sat at the bar while we waited and they were great to us while we waited! Our waitress's name was Kennedy and she was incredible, very attentive and went way above and beyond to take care of us the entire time! It was so helpful that she knew the menu and recommended several things to us that were so delicious. We had the Firecracker Shrimp appetizers per her recommendation and it was awesome! My husband ordered the Creole Snapper Delight -- it was absolutely DIVINE! I had the Snow Crab and Kennedy made sure that we were both 100% satisfied with everything! We also had the Key Lime Pie for dessert... and again... absolutely DIVINE!!! We have recommended this place to many and we will definitely be back! read more

The atmosphere here is nice. The food is just ok. I ordered grilled shrimp and potatoes and broccoli. The shrimp was delicious, broccoli was fine, but the mashed potatoes were instant potatoes. They were bland and unoriginal. I would like to see a home made potato for the price of the food. I feel like restaurants these days just serve blah and expect us to pay too much for blah food. Do better "The Catch". Also it would be nice to see some other options that are not made with flour. read more

We were staying in Gulf Shores for four nights this past week for our first time. We had dinner from here several times as we were renting an Airbnb a block away. The drinks were very tasty, and we had an assortment of dishes over the few days. Most everything was pretty good. My boiled shrimp were delicious and cooked perfectly, but my Caesar salad was not very good and they forgot the Parmesan cheese on top. The fish sandwiches were very good, but the chicken wings were a little bit dry. It's a cool place right across the street from the beach. I can't really comment on service because everything was to go since we had small children back at the house. read more

We sat on the landing at barstools facing the water. That smoked tuna dip? Delicious! We had the larger boil and some fried okra. Spicy and delicious, shrimp was cooked to perfection. The waitress was a gorgeous girl from New Orleans who expertly served us. The drinks were delicious. And the prices were great. And... that's right... you can bring your puppies! Ate there last night Sunday 9-21-2025. The restaurant had that funky bleach disinfectant smell you get with seafoods . I got the shrimp and cheese grits. Too many grits. I think it could have been jazzed up with a sprinkling of finely chopped Jalapeño. And a little mango.. maybe some asparagus fronds. Everyone else enjoyed their food. Wait staff was attentive and kept us well hydrated with drink. So it was ok as a place to eat but I enjoyed flavor that pops. read more

We came for dinner on a very busy Friday night. We had a large party and were told the wait would be a little over an hour. Keeping in mind it was a Friday night the wait didn't bother us at all. We planned to wait in the bar and have a few cocktails while we waited for our table. A spiked blond (possible a Manager) told us we couldn't wait in the bar as the tables were for dining. The tables sat empty for almost 30 minutes we would have paid much more for pre-dinner cocktails if allowed to stay. Keep in mind several tables in the dining area were empty and just needed to be bussed and set for dining guests. The restaurant was severely understaffed. The bar area had 1 bartender (She was working so hard) for the entire restaurant. I must say, the serving staff was extremely pleasant and very focused on keeping everyone happy and understanding of the long waits. Indoor and outdoor dining was available. It was extremely hot and humid outside. The bar area was very comfortable with air conditioning until the Spiked Blond opened the garage doors opening it to the patio area and creating another hot and humid venue within the restaurant. We were seated after about an hour and a half. Our waitress was outstanding and apologized for the long wait. Our food was good but not great. Mixed feelings about this location. read more

I never complain about food service, because I understand that shit happens. But this was unacceptable. We waited for almost two hours for our table. I finally decided to ask the hostess when our table is going to be next, to only find out that they didn't have us down, even though we put our reservation in and got a pager. They blamed us for why the pager didn't go off for possibly being outside the facility, when we were in the area of the facility. Then the girl came over to apologize for her mistake, which we did appreciate, but then proceeded to tell us that she never uses the pager when she is downstairs, and that another table apparently took our spot. So then why give us a pager?! No management came over to check on us at all. The poor sever did a great job and I know it wasn't her fault. But we got our food, and got one wrong order, and ended up giving us "on the house" batch of crab legs to make up for her mistake. I still tipped her good because again I know it wasn't her fault. But this was seriously so fucked up. We finished eating at 9:30. The biggest takeaway from this really long review and the only review I've ever done on yelp, is that this business did not take accountability, there was no hospitality, and was absolutely not worth it. The food, service, and hospitality were AMAZING!! The staff were so helpful answering all of our questions. I got Fish & Grits amd a side of okra. Let me say, they were so creamy and delicious!! I was concerned about the crawfish sauce, but it gave the grits a fantastic flavor! The okra was fried crispy like I love them! Definitely 10 out of 10 for this dish! My son and nephew got the Crab Boil with the sauce on the side and they loved it!! Hubby got Coconut Shrimp (forgot picture) and he said it was delicious!! The food needs much improvement. I started with a smoke tuna dip. It was not smoked at all. It tastes like it came out a can. It was overly creamy with a mayonnaise. I asked our waitress if they had some liquid smoke to give it some flavor. Of course they said no. I had the crab legs and they were just soaking in grease, butter and obay seasoning. My son and mother-in-law had the shrimp platters. They were overcooked and rubbery. The french fries were cold. The vegetables were over steamed are boiled. My sister-in-law had the fried red fish. First things first, if you're coming here for a boil, DONT! They don't give you gloves, bibs, or additional necessary tools. The only thing you're given is a seafood cracker and two wet wipes. Overall the taste of the boil was good, but the crab left something to be desired. The fried pickles were some of the best I've had. The service was good and attentive. We sat outside, so of course it was hot, but they have adequate fans blowing. Overall, it was just okay. I'd go back but I would not get the boil. read more

I ordered a blue Long Island and I'm pretty sure it was straight juice. The crab boil is AWFUL. Super spicy and almost had a tomato flavor to it. I never complain about food but this was honestly the worst place I think I've ever eaten at. read more

However, overall we dealt with a long wait time and a need to reorder certain items due to them running out including fish. They did discount our meal due to the wait so that was appreciated. Initially we were the only ones in there and service was almost too quick....only after we ordered did we see the sign that said the specials and we didn't even know what the catch of the day was. Ended up quickly ordering the lobster and the crab cakes, which were just OK. It was raining and the whole restaurant was cold and there was nothing hot to drink on the menu like a cup of coffee or tea. The waitress brought our bill in the middle of our lunch, and shortly afterwards asked to take my husband's plate while he was still eating. He grabbed his crab cakes sandwich and said OK....and finished eating it with crumbs falling over the table. I would have probably eaten some of his potatoes and pickles if the plate was still there, lol. When we used the restroom we did enter another room smaller that was warmer, so if it's chilly maybe you can ask to sit in there. Probably would have been a better experience if we ordered differently, were told the catch of the day, and were less rushed. read more

We celebrated St. Patrick's Day and stopped here for an early dinner. Great service, view and food. Karen was excellent and helpful with suggestions. We had peel and eat shrimp that was so fresh and easy to peel. My husband had the crispy fried grouper sandwich and an old fashioned.
