We came here for lunch I got a coffee and a deluxe tuna sandwich which came with two sides. I loved the fried squash. The cabbage was spicy which I loved. The coffee was good. The waitress was a bit forgetful but still nice. My husband order a chicken gyro which he enjoyed. It looks like they can accommodate large groups so I would come here with more people.

Driven pass this spot 1000 times and never thought to pop in. Glad I did. On sight, gives a cafeteria vibe but after looking at the menu and tasting the food its far from it. Food has great flavor and the service is very southern hospitality style. Excellent restaurant.

We had a family get-together and came to get some takeout salads. We were very happy with the generous portions. The next day we came to dine at the restaurant and were pleased with the spacious, clean indoor seating. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The menu has lots of options. Southern fare with some Mediterranean influence.

Olympic is so close to my office and I often visit here for a quick takeout lunch. The menu has a wide variety of southern fare, Greek food, standard american, but they also serve breakfast. The prices are beyond reasonable and the portions large, but you get what you pay for. I love this place for the array of vegetables. I try to take a healthy route for my lunches, so the vegetable plates are the way to go. Like most restaurants like these, don't expect a lot of flavor, but sometimes it's nice to just have the food with no frills. I do also order the chicken souvlaki. It's tasty but served on a hamburger bun? Not sure why, and I leave it on the plate, but that's okay. The owner is a blonde, tattooed Greek gentleman with a large personality and booming Greek accent. He really adds to the flair of this restaurant. I've had quite a few conversations through the drive through with him and he always makes me laugh. They do have a drive through, but you call ahead and pick it up. The order is always ready in about 10-15 minutes. Super convenient!

I got to visit last weekend and experience their lunch menu. I've been hearing good things about this place but the menu looked simple so I was hesitant. Well it's easy to say I was very wrong about being iffy when it comes to what we were served. When we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly host who put us at a window seat which was really nice. I love having a view with my meal. The space is also very reminiscent of fine dining with the white table cloths, candles, and flowers on the table. It's also worth saying they have several lunch specials aside from what's on their regular lunch menu. Our server was also a very friendly gentleman who gave great recs when we asked. My friend got the French onion dumplings and she LOVED them. I got the brussel sprouts and with the accompaniment of the goat cheese and dried cranberries, they were probably the best I've ever had. I almost ate all of the huge bowl. I got the chicken sandwich for my meal that was dipped in a hot honey like sauce and it was also great. Very juicy and the ranch I got on the side was a great addition. I also got the truffle fries and they were super yummy. Overall an excellent experience and I'm so excited to come back and try their dinner menu. A must if you're in the Kernersville area!

The service isn't going to be in and out as this isn't a large place with lots of wait staff. Expect to be here at least an hour. They have Coors on draft (nostalgia for the Mr.) and tall boy PBRs. Not your thing? Don't let that deter you bc they are one of the few places I have seen who has Old Rasputin on DRAFT. Those not familiar, this is a Russian imperial stout by North Coast Brewery out of Ft Bragg, California. Something I haven't had since... well, I lived in California. Personally, one of my favorite stouts. Beer not your thing? They have an array of specialty contrails and some solid liquor choices including buffalo trace's limited purchase bourbon (eagle rare/ blantons). Food: the Brussels, sandwiches, and salads looked amazing (neighboring patting got those). We split a few things: Brisket: nit the best I have ever had, but solid choice. Maybe not for the $, but it was fall apart brisket. Wings: these are crispy fried with sauce on the side. A little hard but good. Not my favorite. The poutine was by far a favorite with the melty cheese and the gravy was delicious. We also had the street corn and with the lime was pretty good as well. These 4 things were plenty for the 2 of us with a little extra. We didn't mind paying the extra because of the experience. I did about die of heat, but I should have put a hair the in my bag and wore a skit or just not jeans. We will definitely be back.

We had to walk about three blocks in absolutely torrential rain that rendered my umbrella basically useless. I'd spent 30 minutes on my hair, which was now ruined, my shoes were soaked, and by the time we walked in I was in a TERRIBLE mood. The second we stepped inside, that completely started to change. The staff was so welcoming and empathetic. They immediately brought us towels to dry off and even brought me a blanket! They also gave us some complimentary champagne for our anniversary. Our waitress, Delaney (I hope I'm spelling that right!), was wonderful and even took the time to make me a custom off-menu martini. And then there was the food. We started with the raw oysters, which were half price for happy hour and came with a chili sauce that will now make every other oyster slightly disappointing. I had the bacon cheeseburger, and my partner had the pork belly cacio e pepe, which was fantastic. At the end of the meal, they surprised us with complimentary olive oil cake and more bubbly for our anniversary. What could have easily been a miserable evening ended up being such a great anniversary dinner. The entire staff went above and beyond for us, and the hospitality really stood out. It was very cold where we were sitting and the server allowed us to move to a warmer spot. We ordered a fried mushroom appetizer. This was very good. You get a choice of Texas toast, hushpuppies, or rolls. My coworker ordered salmon. When the food came out, my ribs were wet. I told the server that I had ordered dry rub. He stated they were dry but had sauce on them. I'm sorry, that is not a "dry rib", in my opinion. The first piece of rib meat I ate was soft and juicy. The next two were super dry and I could not eat any more of them. My coworker joked that that was probably what they were referring to when they said "dry rub". The green beans were ok. I added a ton of pepper and some hot sauce. I saved the mac & cheese for lunch the next day. The hushpuppies were dense and needed a little more flavor. My coworker commented that her salmon was ok but nothing to write home about. I should have went with my first instinct and ordered from the kids menu. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is nice.
