The location has undergone some positive decor changes in the past year or so. It is much more welcoming than it was before and just feels like a place to be comfortable. Maybe it is the bar stools that make that happen. :) Best bar stools around! The afternoon crew that sits on the corner by the garage door is a great group of people who welcome in anyone to join their group and just have some fun conversation. It gets pretty comical with those guys, so be prepared. Speaking of the garage door...it opens to a very large deck area that can get pretty busy during the summers. There is a good amount of seating out there as well as some patio furniture to just sit down and relax. Inside is mostly high top tables, but there are a lot of booths for people who like that type of seating. The group of bartenders and servers are quality at this point. They do their jobs quickly, and want you to enjoy yourself.

It is not even close to an authentic beer batter like you would find in Ireland or the UK. The flavor is neutral, and usually some sections of the batter become exceptionally hard for some reason. I do frequently attend their Thursday night trivia which is a lot of fun. All in all, I feel like Mavis Winkle's could be doing a lot of things a lot better but I guess it is passible for a little town like Twinsburg.
