The al pastor was juicy and delicious, and one of the best I've had. The carne asada was good but I felt could've had more flavor to it. The quesadilla was hard to put down, also one of the best I've had. It was easy to place an order online and service was quickl upon arrival. There is some seating inside in a very casual setting. Highly recommend if you're craving some tacos!

In case you are craving tacos, Tacos El Takin will satisfy your craving but I do not consider them as ones that will draw you back in. Especially since there are 2 other taco places, I noticed, within the same block. Food: i went with family and we ordered Asada mini tacos and Campechano (mixture of 3 meats) mini tacos. The tacos came out freshly made and hot with onions, cilantro, and a creamy green sauce (maybe their version of guacamole, not spicy). Other salsas were available at the entrance. They both had a good spice to them. The tacos were full of meat and I did enjoy that it was chopped into very small pieces. I did not see much fat in them either, which I appreciated. We also got their agua fresca- Jamaica. It was very good. Service; The service was fast, friendly, and the staff answered all questions regarding the menu. Ambiance: They played music, mostly salsa. It was not loud and allowed for us to speak normally. The location of the restaurant was a little hidden, I thought the GPS had taken me to a closed location. Once we made the corner, we saw the well lit restaurant. There is an ok amount of parking. The tables were not sticky and appeared to be clean.

I don't exactly know how I am going to lay this out for you all, so I am just going to wing it…read morehere. This restaurant/food truck literally is the best Mexican food on the planet. There is no debating that. I have only been to the physical truck once, but have ordered countless times through doordash and have yet to be disappointed. I have received the food cold once only, but that was the fault of the dasher, not the food truck, and it was still better than any other Mexican food establishment I've have been to up to this date.........Anywhere. I fully understand that taste is subjective, but I believe I can say with extreme confidence that any review on this establishment under 4 stars is, more likely than not, a person from a different restaurant trying to slam this place due to jealousy, knowing they could never reach this level of skill/flavor. And you 1 and 2 star reviewers, I'm just flat out calling you all liars, and your souls will burn for committing such blasphemy. I'm not religious at all, but I will say that these culinary geniuses have been touched by a divine hand, and if I ever see a story that this place's food can cure cancer, I will believe it. There, hope that's clear enough.

My wife and I use to frequent this place YEARS ago, the service was good and the food was good,…read moreyears later we decided to go back & mannn the food quality & service has went down terribly! Pulled up on a Friday late night with my family ordered the standard 5 tacos. They are a bit pricey as well. I ordered the carne Asada and my mother in law ordered the chicken. While it did seem like it tasted good it was super greasy. (TMI coming up) When I woke up the next morning my I noticed my bowels were literally moving the next day, (I counted about 9 times). I felt bloated and everything. My wife even told me that as we were pulling off she witnessed the cook I believe his name is Julio eating some of the product while he was preparing peoples food (the side door of the food truck was open so you could see right in). Funny enough we decided to go back Saturday evening to give them another try, thinking it would be better, BOY was we wrong. I ordered the same order plus charro Beans, elote (corn in a cup) and 3 cans of sprite. This time we took literally one bite and the meat was DRYER than the Saharan desert both the carne asada and the chicken. (Tasted like some reheated old meat or meat that had been made days prior). We were already at the hotel at this point and was infuriated!!! We ended up calling and I believe I spoke to Julio (or whoever the cook is) over the phone. After lying saying that he cooked the meat fresh that day he stuttered I told him aint no way the meat was fresh. He then said and I quote " I cooked the meat "a couple days ago" then said "sorry I burnt it or overcooked it". (Knowing that why would you serve that to me?) I then stated "yes it tasted old period". I requested a refund in which he agreed to. Driving all the way back I brought the food back as well. Julio (or whoever the cooks name is) tried to plead his case to me saying that the meat is fresh and took a fork and tasted the food himself and then tried to offer me the food. I told him "no I don't want to taste it, just refund me please" in which he did. Dishonesty, Not handling food with care, lying. Is something that crosses the line and I won't be back. *Also if the owner is reading this I have the phone conversation recorded and the video evidence to show proof this whole interaction, so do not just glaze over this review* I don't like writing bad reviews, but this one is for sure warranted. Seems like they will dress up the taco and selling you some "old meat" people just be careful and mindful when coming to this taco truck.
