On 03/13/2023. I made an online order for my 6yr old daughter from the children'splace.com . The first order for my daughter, I had no issues, and the items are being shipping out right now. My problem is on 3/14/2023, I made a second order for my son, $566 worth of clothing approximately 55 items. My card was charged, and then less than an hour later I received an email saying that my 3 year old son's order was cancelled by there system. I was behind annoyed because these items was for him to have clothes to wear at school. I called customer service, and the rep states that my order was cancelled because their online order system recognized a pattern of unfamiliar spending activity, so the "system" cancelled my second order. It's funny because the system didn't recognize that I need a refund? They are funny, because that wouldn't even halfway rectify the problem their system created. I wanted my money back $566, I want to be able to reuse the "GET20" COUPON CODE, "THE $35 OFF YOUR NEXT PURCHASE" coupon code, that I got for my first EVER order, AND THE "25 PERCENT OFF the entire order" for opting into text messaging promotions, that I lost when you cancelled my second order. Also, I spent over 4 hours over 2 days picking out items, due to your slow website freezing over and over again. Children's place customer service told me that my funds should be back on my card by Sunday 3/20/2023. I'll update you if that doesn't happen. I had to dispute with my bank, and they said the process will take up to 90 days for dispute to be settled and to recieve a credit, if the pending transaction settles itself in the next five days, the pending charge of $566 should drop off and I'll have access to my funds. WELP WE'LL SEE. NOW i have no clothes for my baby boy and $566 less money to use, and have to wait up to 90 days to get.my funds back. The interesting thing is one of the items I purchased for my baby boy was a Juneteenth clothing graphic tee, so who knows why my order was really canceled, and I hate speculating, but maybe a hateful worker cancelled the items to be nasty, but the jokes on them, because I'm not buying anything else online. read more

Tried to call customer service, they close at 5:00. This was about 6:00. Called them this morning and was told they would not adjust it. Not my first time calling customer service. I ordered my son's uniform pants 14 days ago!!! And like a lot of the other reviews it still shows as processing. The Children's Place has a good selection of cute and reasonable priced clothing for children. However their customer service is non-existent. Help center is located out of the USA; English is obviously a second language for the employees answering your complaints. I waited for a shipment for over two weeks, I was told that they could do nothing until ten business days; however after the ten days when I called AGAIN, I was told to hold while they checked the status. I was told then that it was in process and to wait another 12 days. They have shipped this item to four different states. I will be ordering from Carters and Target. My experience with Target and a lost delivery was unbelievable. Target resent the items and told me if the first order showed up to donate it to a needy person. This was only after a five day delay. When I checked their online site, the clothes I brought had bad reviews about leaving stains on babies even after multiple washes, so I decided to return them as soon as I brought, they still had their tags on and where in their original package. When we went to return, they did not accept the e-receipt and said that it was not a receipt. The staff was very rude and disrespectful. I recently started shopping at The Children's Place and I love it. They always have sales. The clothes are good quality and very stylish. I love their tee's, jeans and outer wear. I always find outfits for my son here. Their beanies are so original, we recently bought him a shark beanie and we got my niece a panda beanie. Since our families are huge SF Giant and SJ Shark fans, we just had to get them! The staff is always helpful whenever I have visited this location. I have spent thousands of dollars at Childrens Place and have been a loyal customer for years. I hadn't had any "major" issues until recently. I placed an online order 9/20/2022 to be shipped to my home and 9/24/2022 to be shipped to the store for pick up. The 9/24/2022 order became available for pick up at the store on 10/4/2022 with one of my items damaged. I was told when I called customer service about the damaged item and the delay in my previous order that after 10 days if an order hasn't been shipped that it is cancelled and payment is refunded. On 10/7/2022 I was notified that the order had shipped and my credit card was charged.Today 11/3/2022 I still haven't received my order and called for a resolution. It was acknowledged that if I hadn't called the charge to my credit card would have never been corrected and would have stayed there, and I still would not receive my order. I asked for compensation for ALL my inconveniences: -poor customer service -waiting for much needed items - never receiving much needed items -negligent monitoring of my order -fraudulent charge on my credit card without shipping merchandise -disrespect of my time having to deal with this issue I DID NOT RECEIVE ADEQUATE OR ACCEPTABLE RESOLUTION!! I placed an order online and within one hour, received an email saying everything on the site was 40% off. I called customer service to ask that they either give me the 40% off, or cancel the order and I'd reorder it. They refused to do either. They said I could just return it to a store and reorder. The closest store is 45 minutes away. I don't know of another company that won't price adjust when this happens. I spoke to 2 supervisors (not sure what country they were from), and asked for the next level. I was told a Director would call me back. That was a week ago. They just don't care.
