It's a cute boutique offering California-made items such as pottery, clothes, skin care products, jewelry, art, and more. The store is nicely organized and their items are neatly displayed. A table with pottery near the entrance caught my eye right away. I also enjoyed checking out the flavored salts and oils for cooking, room diffusers, wall art, and jewelry. I was surprised to see they carry the wonderful Osea skin care products as I didn't know they were made in California. I ended up buying a ceramic spoon rest, room spray, and a tiny gold "diamond" ring. Their prices were reasonable. The store owner rang up my items and was very friendly and nice. I will definitely be back to shop here again.

Lol oops! This particular day we were walking around and discovered this cute little store!! I thought these mixed drink bottles were so cute. I had to take a picture!! For 10 or $20 you could buy one of these along with a bottle for your friend or as a cute housewarming present!! They had different sizes, different flavors and different mixes that went for everything!! They even had a fruit punch, one with just fermented, dried fruits inside! I really like this idea! Store had a bunch of other little odds and ends as well as some local soaps, candles, clothes, and baby items and some interesting maps or posters that showed different astrological signs as well as were certain vegetations grow within the state or even the time of year!! I'm not much of a gardener, but I would love to get into it! I also don't have the space but I liked the posters! I also thought I took a picture of the poster, but apparently I forgot! It was still really cute though! The lady in the store was very welcoming and friendly and if you check on the app, you get a discount with your purchase! So I'll have to save that for next time! I went in recently hoping to find a blouse for my 70 y/o mom as a gift and found two equally perfect, trendy yet tasteful options. And they both look great on her. They always have my last-minute amazing date night outfit or summer dress. I am pretty much guaranteed to find my next favorite pair of jeans for a steal any given day. A lot of my work wardrobe is from Bombshell. The only "cons" would be maybe the parking (during peak downtown busy hours or farmer's mkt), and I wish they were open earlier and/or later, but it's not unusual for a small business.

Unfortunately, my experience today (3/18) fell short of what I've come to expect over the years. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted, which is something I've always appreciated in the past--it really sets a welcoming tone. Jocelyn eventually helped me into a dressing room, but along the way there were several missed opportunities for basic customer service. I was browsing with my arms full, and at no point was I offered help holding items or starting a fitting room, which would have made shopping easier. When I was ready to try things on, I was asked to sort and count my items due to the 6-garment limit. I completely understand and respect that policy as a way to manage inventory in a small business. However, during that process, a few items fell behind the counter and weren't addressed at the time. Once in the dressing room, there was no check-in to see how things were fitting or if I needed different sizes or colors--something I've consistently experienced and appreciated during past visits. I did ask to swap out items, and Jocelyn was helpful and pleasant in doing so. At checkout, the items that had fallen behind the counter were brought up again, and I was asked if I wanted to try them on. Since I was already dressed, I declined, but it would have been helpful if those had been handled earlier. There was only one other customer in the store, who had already checked out by the time I was in the fitting room, so it didn't seem particularly busy. I've always associated Bombshell Boutique with attentive, thoughtful service--being greeted, having items held, and receiving support in the dressing room. That level of care makes a big difference and is part of why I've been a loyal customer for so long. This visit just felt a bit lackluster in comparison. I'll definitely be back, but I hope this was just an off day.

When I asked at the front checkout if they would give a discount because of the stains, they said "no it's priced the way it is because of the stain", acting like that was a low price!

It's very cute and very clean, and doesn't seem like a thrift shop at all. The young woman working there was friendly and helpful. I saw lots of little things I wanted to buy, like the tiniest Labubu I've ever seen, but didn't end up purchasing anything. Most of the clothes and accessories for females seemed targeted toward young people, but I'm glad I stopped in and checked out all of their cute loot. Be sure to bring change for the metered parking or plan to use your credit card.

The cherry on top is the excellent customer service. I recently attended a black tie event and needed a dress appropriate for the occasion. One of the associates, Morgan in particular, was extremely supportive with this quest. From providing different options, making recommendations and helping me find the correct size, she was a gem! I've since attended the event and absolutely in love with the dress I chose. Huge thanks to Morgan as I couldn't have done this without her!

Stopped by the Thrift Box to donate a couple bags of clothes and take a look inside the store. The…read moredonation drop off is in the back with dedicated parking spaces, and the cheery volunteer was appreciative of my donation. The shop benefits the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford. It is a large place with clothes, housewares, home decor, toys, books, jewelry, and more. They have low prices compared to other charity thrift shops in the area. There were lots of Thanksgiving items and some Christmas decorations, too. The whole place was packed with stuff, but it all was clean and nicely displayed. There is no thrift store smell. They have some vintage items mixed in with the newer stuff, especially in housewares. It's definitely a treasure hunt in there.

After meeting up with a friend at OCK and taking a stroll around the complex, I happened to stumble across Project X. What instantly got my attention were the vibrant colors, sick Hawaiian shirts, and sugar skulls. I discovered that Project X is a fitness and island lifestyle apparel brand, and I thought that their printed tees were so unique! I learned that the owner comes up with the concepts and then collaborates with both local and Hawaiian artists on the final looks. I saw a Men's Hawaiian button up shirt with tikis that was in black, gray and teal colors. Even if it wasn't locally inspired, I loved that it was decked out in SJ Sharks colors. I also got a kick out of a Women's racerback t-shirt in black and orange SF Giants colors that said "GAINS" instead of "GIANTS." Ugh, so clever. I ended up buying a black on black "Dio De Los Deadlifts" Women's muscle tshirt, which had such a clean design. Lastly, customer service was fantastic. One of the female employees gave me a brief tour of the store and explained to me the idea behind Project X. I found that all the employees were friendly and helpful, and I had the opportunity to meet the owner, who was a super cool guy.

When i went, she had the clothes set and informed me about how some tops should fit and gave me styling ideas! She offered to take the clothes i liked to the register to speed up the transaction and ordered the clothes they didn't have my size in. Overall, great experience and I would definitely come back! I would say the only downside is no mirrors in the fitting rooms and the cashier being on her phone. I purchased six items, thinking the price was fair given the high quality of the clothing. I had specifically asked for natural fabrics--but look what I actually received... I didn't pay close attention to the labels at the time of purchase, but when I got home, I checked the composition and discovered that every single garment is made of plastic--100% polyester. I intend to return everything, as I have no desire to put plastic directly against my skin. The cashier seemed pleasant enough to me. I simply wanted to make my purchases quickly and without any hassle, but the local staff seems intent only on ignoring customers. Even though--being a Tuesday--it wasn't busy at all, I still had to wait for someone at the register to finally pay attention to me and be willing to ring me up!
