It can get busy, so put your name on the list early and come back at your slotted time. I like this method of appointments. Other shops have you waiting for hours. I will get to the 1 star at the end of my experience as why the staff there earned that 1 star. As I entered the Barber Shop I felt comfortable with being there. The seats were up against the wall and the view of different items are interesting to look at. Some of the stations were not clean when unattended. As I sat in my chair there was a younger mother there with her 2 children and asked for a barber, she was told he will be back in 30 minutes due to being at lunch. She left and just about 3 minutes later the barber returned from lunch. The owner stopped cutting my hair (which is fine) to try and chase her down before she left to let her know he is back. He just missed her. Now is where the 1 star comes into play. As I sat in the chair there were a few other clients waiting for a haircut along with the owner, the female barber and the one that returned from lunch in the shop. The owner made a comment that a "hot looking mother" (words similar to this) was just here for you with her 2 kids. As he said that the female barber stated " yes she was definitely sexy/hot" (words similar to that). Then they cracked jokes about running after the customer because she was a fine looking girl and that is the only reason you ran out the door. As I sat there all I could think of is this could of been my wife and 2 children walking into a barber shop and treated like a piece of meat instead of a paying customer. I honestly thought this place would be a good place to come back and bring my 4 children to since I am new in town, I was extremely wrong. Extremely and disgustingly unprofessional behavior from ALL of the barbers and owner from this shop. Not one time did any of them apologize for the sexist remarks made toward that mother of 2 boys to any of the customers, yet there were more agreement with all 3 barbers than disagreement. What shocked me was that the female barber was also making the comments freely herself. Disgusting. That is why I give this place 1 star and they rightfully earned it, actually the only person who earned the 1 star, was the other barber that was not there. read more

This place is no 2nd to The Chop Shoppe on Sierra Highway. I've been getting my haircut by Dom for who knows how long, and as usual, the only thing him (or any other Chop Shoppe Barber) haven't done is disappoint me. I live closer to the Sierra Highway Shoppe, but the 15(ish) minute drive to Quartz Hill was absolutely worth it. For both shoppes, the prices and lines are always worth the result. read more

I'm torn on how I want to write this review. Do I give you guys one star for making fun of me over the phone, when you think I can't hear you or do I give you 4 stars for the haircut my son didn't get because I had to cancel the appointment after being made to feel like a loser. I have a very goofy personality and can sometimes not realize when I make silly voices. Apparently, the guys there thought it was funny to mimic the voice I made and then laugh amongst themselves. Now if they were laughing because I'm hilarious (I highly doubt this) than that would be different, but to actually make fun of a customer before even getting a chance to come in and experience the place, is just low. At least wait for me to get there and then make fun of me. I'll take that any day. I'm only writing this review because when I went to cancel my appointment the guy that answered the phone, gave me a sheepish "I'm sorry" and that was it. Now all of a sudden there is nothing to laugh at. I'm kind of bummed about this place. I even had the courtesy to call and make an appointment, and also cancel the appointment instead of just not showing up. I actually wish I could just leave a comment instead of picking a rating because I'm not trying to mess that up for the owner. I know this place does bomb cuts. I hear about it all the time. I think I'm going to give a 4 because word on the street is you guys give good head, I mean haircuts. read more

Stop wasting your money at Supercuts for a mediocre haircut that your unsure about when you walk out. The Chop Shoppe changes that insecurity and you will walk out with a cut all the ladies will love. Complimentary PBR (supporting domestic abuse since 1844) ,water and soda while you wait. The playlist on while I was there gets a 10/10 some old school rap punk rock and Atmosphere . Went into this location for a first time today and was rather pleased... I got my haircut by Anthony and he was great! I went in not exactly knowing what or how I wanted to go about cleaning up my mop. Anthony spent a good 5-10 mins going over options and pulled out some pics as reference. I really appreciated his time and effort. He's a perfectionist and went over and over on my cut till he deemed it right; and it showed! Spent literally two hours and 20 minutes there today just to watch about eight people just get there and shake one of the barbers hands or say what's up to them and knew them and I just had enough walked out of there not cool hate that favoritism crap!
