I'm always quite skeptical when it comes to bbq places. Ive had many bad experiences. When i saw this food truck right off of st rt 37 I just had a good feeling about it. The owner, Jimmy, was the nicest guy right of the rip and it was easy to tell that he knew a thing or 234234 about TRUE AUTHENTIC Memphis BBQ. I tried the Brisket, Pulled Pork, Mac n Cheese, beans, and slaw. Everything was perfect. The brisket was cut into thick slices and it was so juicy and the crisp on the bark with the smoky flavors was insanely delicious. The pulled pork was hand pulled and seasoned to perfection. They came on sandwich as part of the "World Famous Meal Deal" and it was a MONSTER of a sandwich. Pulled Pork and Brisket piled as high as the plate could handle. The sides were even better than expected and accompanied the bbq to perfection. I work in the area and this is going to be my new place to go for food. I just gotta throw this out there as well. They offer delivery locally and to truck drivers parked across the street. Way to take care of our truck drivers working hard during this time. Go check out Memphis Blues and BBQ! The friendly owner was just out there rocking it out taking orders and cooking all by himself! I ordered the "Big Meal" with one each of chicken and pork kabobs. OH and OMG honestly the Tzatziki was some of the best I have ever had. I am part Greek and am very picky about this sauce being done right. The gyro on a stick was the best - it was great to have a simple option for a reasonable price. The gyro meat came with a flatbread and was very tasty. The staff was friendly. Like, 10 a.m. their Facebook page will show them as scheduled to be at a particular location, but at 11 a.m. when they're supposed to be on site, they're nowhere to be seen, and there's no explanation or response to inquiries. This means that I can't reliably plan to have lunch there when I'm downtown at the office -- I have to pack a lunch either way, or find something elsewhere if they're MIA. It was chopped up well and had a nice smoky flavor to it. The Mac and cheese was a thicker style but needed a little more flavor to it. Baked beans had a more neutral flavor to them, they added a fair amount of pepper to them to help with flavor. Not bad at all. They were out of cornbread which being open just a couple of hours is unacceptable. I will give them a pass for this visit as they are obviously just getting on their feet. Hopefully it gets better.
