This place was just a fairytale! I was able to find parking fine, down the street. It was 2 hour parking. The cafe itself was just so beautiful and full of life. There's a lot of seating, which surprised me. It's quite a big cafe! There's outdoor tables and seating as well, some shaded spots. The service was really nice! I got a banana matcha, which wasn't too bad. I would probably try a different drink on their menu next time and their food. The food looked good! I was working here for a bit and using their wifi. Decided to work remote today and Classic Cafe was my pick once again, for good reason - the Pesto Panini Here's a little story for the review, mistakes/accidents happen and I understand that, here's what happened... my pesto panini sandwich had pieces of ceramic in it and I thought I broke my tooth lol. Fished the piece out and it was a triangular sharp piece of whatever it was. Tossed it out and kept eating the sandwich and then again hard pieces between my teeth and what do you know, two more pieces of ceramic or whatever it was, which I decided to take a picture of which is included below. Brought it to the attention of one of the workers and she apologized and then a few minutes later Tony (the owner) comes out and refunds me and brings my friend and I two cookies along with two Ocean lemonades! Thank you Tony if you see this, I appreciate the way you handled the accident and I will still be coming back! Besides that though I ordered a Strawberry Matcha Latte and it was ready within 5 minutes. Pesto Panini for the win still, so bomb! Strawberry matcha latte 5/5 so bomb, usually the strawberry flavor in strawberry matcha lattes at other places is way too subtle, almost like there's no strawberry in it but at classic cafe, you can taste the strawberry, I believe it may be a strawberry puree? Pesto Panini 5/5 once again that crunch and there's even little perfect balance of flavors is absolutely amazing definitely would recommend ! Like a coffee shop out of a period piece fairytale! Classic Cafe is completely dreamy. The line was almost out the door during late morning on a Sunday, but it was so worth the wait. The inside tables were packed and it was loud, so we were worried about finding seating outdoors. Luckily, we didn't need to be. The wraparound patio is sprinkled with tables and the garden area offers so much eating (both in the front and back). Tables are all varying sizes, so there is something for every group. I loved the ambiance of the mismatched chairs and tables. It was so whimsical. I got a salty toffee latte and my partner got the choco tiramisu latte. We split blueberry muffin. Love this cute, hidden, antique vintage Korean cafe!! It's such a perfect place to take your parents, grandparents, and significant other. They have two entrances (garden and front). Parking in the back can be tricky, limited spots by the garden, but you can park on the sidewalk and walk over too. It feels like you're at your grandma's house when you enter, all the decorations are so cute and pretty! And drinks are amazing!!! I think this was the best pistachio latte I've ever had! One of the cutest cafes I've been to! It's like a small comfy home with a lot of cute little decorations all around. The staff was nice and helpful. Service is fast. Very chill place. I was sad when I finished this drink. *Dduk-Boki: Also known as tteokbokki, this dish is a popular Korean street food consisting of cylindrical rice cakes in a spicy gochujang (Korean chili paste) sauce. Normally I see this in Korean gastropubs, so I was surprised to see it on the menu in a cafe and wanted to try it here. This one had added toppings of fish cakes and boiled egg. Unfortunately, the rice cakes were still a little too firm in the middle. At $12 for a 1-2 person serving it's okay, but I recommend getting this dish elsewhere. Parking is mostly street parking, and it can be tight. Not a huge dealbreaker, but something to note if you're planning to meet a group. I was looking for Korean Coffee during lunch break and I saw this amazing spot. The décor is classic Americana from the front yard to the back yard and every wonderful area in between. There are many unique and charming places to sit where people chat, hang out, study, work, and enjoy great coffee, food, pastry, sweets, and more. The service was excellent, fast and accurate. You get a buzzer to let you know when your food and coffee is ready. One of the employees gave me a tip, reminding me to stir, which I have forgotten at times, so, I liked that. There is a parking lot on the backside, but I parked in the street In a 2 hour parking area. When the city is at it busiest, I am not sure if I would take Harbor or find away around it, I guess I will know next time. This hidden gem is highly recommended, it's a first come first serve so no reservations required. I'd say.come early cause this place gets full. The cafe itself reminds me of going to my grandma-that-I-never-had's house. Beside from the fact that I can't figure out what theme they are going for because it just seems kind of all over the place theme, outside and inside, the coffee/drinks are good, either iced or cold. Found another local gem on Yelp and it did not disappoint!!! It looks smaller from the outside, but the backyard patio section has plenty of open seating to choose from. I loved the backyard garden vibes outdoors. I noticed they have blankets that customers can use if it gets cold, and multiplayer games as well. I thought was a a thoughtful touch. (: You order at the counter and they provide you with a buzzer & notify you when your order is ready. I saw previous reviews where they sold Triangle Kimbap and was initially to try that, but the staff stated that the Cupbap was released in replacement of the triangle kimbap. I was a little bit sad, and somewhat weary that the cabbage would overpower the rest of the dish. That was definitely not the case, as the flavors were delicious and the portion size was fantastic! If you're feeling extra hungry, or want to take some to-go, maybe go for the Large, but the regular size is more than enough in my opinion. I have been going here since around when they first opened and it's really become a go to coffee spot! For starters the vibes and energy of the shop are unmatched. It's pretty much a house that was turned into a coffee shop with tons of seating both indoors or outdoors in their lovely garden. With tons of shaded spots and greenery it makes a perfect spot to relax or work while grabbing a drink. All the lattes I've tried have been really good, and this time I got the Minions Latte (banana flavored) and again it didn't disappoint! Their food is also very tasty and perfect for a small lunch. I usually go for the sandwiches but they have so many other unique options like ramen and Korean style dishes. I think their menu really sets them apart from some other spots in the area. The service has always been very friendly, and overall they're a great spot to check out! Even when they're busy (like today) we still got everything very quickly. The parking might be the only downside, but truthfully I've never had problems finding a spot in the back or even on a street nearby. Came at 11:20am on Sunday, by 12 there was a huge line and by afternoon the place was so packed. The cupbaps were good, with a bed of rice, glass noodles, an egg, cabbage and lots of sauce. Bulgolgi was a little sweet, I preferred the Spicy Pork. Excited to try their sandwiches next time. The drinks were more dessert than coffee imo. by mere chance my mother found this beautiful spot on FB and i completely fell in love from our first visit. not only is classic cafe down the street from fullerton college, it's right around the corner from the fullerton public library in a hidden spot i never knew existed not only is it beautifully cared for with an intimate indoor seating area, but the culture and greenery of the patio is what makes this place amazing. the food is to die for! i loved the korean panini and took today to try some other items while getting some writing done. looks like this is gonna be my next new fav spot! read more

Their drinks are fantastic and they come out quick. I love the vibe of the classic cafe. The space must've been a house before because the main area is like a living room. I love that the tables and chairs are all different. Everything from the art to the wallpaper to the furniture emulates the coziness of someone's home. I love the outdoor area as well because it reminds me of a garden. Plenty of seating and fresh air! Drink Consensus: The lattes are divine here. The iced pistachio latte is my favorite. I'm not the biggest coffee fan but I'm making my way there. The pistachio latte uses house made pistachio syrup and pistachio cream and it is perfection. There's also roasted crushed pistachios in the drink, yum!!! Salty toffy latte and hot latte are great as well. The quality of the expresso is excellent and the drinks are tasty. 10/10. It might be the local ajummas chatting away while enjoying breakfast out back (fun!), or maybe it's the fact that they offer some of my favorite Korean street food and snacks on the menu, like tteokbokki, ramen, and cupbap. The Classic Cafe is a one-of-a-kind coffeeshop. I've never seen a cafe quite like this, not even in Ktown (and that's including The Yellow House Cafe that sadly closed). Like the yellow house, The Classic Cafe is located inside a converted historic home, creating a welcoming and intimate atmosphere. My favorite aspect though was their beautiful and spacious patio, filled with eclectic and antique decor. Every piece of furniture and decor was different and mismatched, but it somehow all tied together to create a cozy ambiance with vintage charm, like visiting grandma for a home cooked meal. I also love how they have a stack of thick blankets to use while out on the patio, which I definitely took advantage of in the cold morning weather. They're also super pet friendly! The owner was soooo nice to my fur babies. He came out to say hi and pet them, and he brought them a bowl of water and treats. My fur babies were thrilled. As for the coffee, to be honest I wasn't a fan of the salty toffee latte. The toffee syrup tasted a little too artificial to me. But I did love my sweet dreams latte and finished it in seconds! Next time I plan to try the food as well. The toffee latte was ok, it was more milky than espresso tasting but it was good. I will be back to try some of their other items. The staff was very helpful and while they normally don't give the afogato in to go cups he did offer it to me if I wanted it. The place itself is very spacious and there it lots of seating outside. There are a handful of spaces at the back of the building and if it's full, you can rely on street parking on the main road/neighborhood parking (e.g. 2 hours from 8AM - 4PM) Interior: It has a variety of seating with different wooden and antique tables with plush chairs. They do have outlets with WiFi! Food and Drinks: My party and I ordered a handful of drinks. The Yuju Cha is similar to lemonade (5/5), whereas the other drinks we ordered are pretty reminiscent of what you can order at other places. They are also pretty good to try. I have not tried their food, so I will review solely on the drinks. I ordered an iced pistachio latte, and the drink was not for me. Unfortunately, the hot Spanish latte I ordered was the bigger disappointment. I couldn't really taste the coffee or the flavor, since the drink tasted mostly of milk. Presentation of the drinks are nice though. I believe the person who took my order was the owner. He seems very patient and kind, and I did witness him redo a drink for a customer who ordered something by mistake. The appeal of this café is their setting, which is unique with an antique home captured in a Victorian time capsule, added with a cozy vibe. The décor is cute. The place can get a little stuffy, and I came around late evening with a friend, and the temperature inside was 78°F/ 26°C. I do believe they have AC, but I don't think it was running, given the doors were all open. Parking most likely would be tricky when the place gets busy. There's limited parking in the rear and on the streets. Perhaps if I am ever back in the area, I might consider trying some of the Korean dishes.
