I also offered to have the owner come by beforehand to meet me and see the house, but she repeatedly declined. A few days before my scheduled cleaning, while I was out of town, the owner contacted me and said she had concerns because previous customers had not paid for services. Although we had already agreed on the payment terms when the appointment was booked, she then requested my full name, phone number and a credit card to hold the appointment. I suggested that she send me a photo halfway through the cleaning and I would send payment at that time. She declined and canceled my scheduled appointment. I understand that businesses have the right to establish policies to protect themselves. However, those policies should be communicated before accepting a booking--not a month later, just days before the scheduled service. Changing the requirements at the last minute and canceling the appointment left me scrambling to find another cleaning service before returning home from vacation. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this business based on my experience and would advise finding another cleaning service for your needs.

Unfortunately, over the last six months or so, the quality declined noticeably and steadily. I raised concerns multiple times and asked for specific notes to be added to our account so that the cleaners knew where to pay attention, but despite those efforts, the issues continued and in some cases worsened. It included simple things like the TV console and desks not even being dusted to fully missing cleaning entire rooms. At that point, it became clear the problems weren't being effectively addressed. On the positive side, Andrea, the coordinator, was always very kind and responsive, and the pricing was reasonable. I hired Traci (based on great Yelp reviews) to deep clean an apartment the landlord had not cleaned well (pre-move in). The place is old and imperfect... I knew going into it that it probably wouldn't sparkle, but told her that I was primarily interested in a good scrub to remove the grime and gunk left in the kitchen, bathroom, and on the light switches. When she was done and it came time to inspect, I was shocked to find the amount of things that were missed, including a large, dried puddle of stuck-on goo in one of the cabinets, left by a previous tenant. This is something super gross and in plain sight. I am seriously astounded that this was overlooked after 4 hours of deep kitchen cleaning. I then pointed out some stuck on grime under the stove ledge (which I had pointed out during the initial walk through). Her response? "Yeah, I don't think I can do much with that... You could probably get it off with some Goo Gone"............. I thought that is what I was paying YOU for!!!!!! Bottom line: this company may be fine for some light dusting or vacuuming in a well maintained home, but AVOID if your job requires elbow grease of any kind.

Cleaning Pros was hired to deep clean selected areas of my home - BATHROOMS (3) including "dusting"…read moreperimeter of room near ceiling, fixtures, and floor, wiping down baseboards (not just dusting) and wipe down shelves of 5 CLOSETS, deep clean of KITCHEN cabinets (vacuum and wipe down interior; clean exterior, pantry, oven, refrigerator interior), and ENTRY tile. With new carpeting and hardwood floors, the cleaners were specifically instructed not to clean those types of flooring. What they did do is vacuum some of the newly carpeted rooms and mop the hardwood floor, even though they were told not to do that. Clean ceiling fans by waving a duster at them and dislodged a ceiling fixture which they conveniently pretended not to notice or mention. What they didn't do was actually clean some of the baseboards, missed at least 25% of the interior of kitchen cabinets, missed the downstairs cabinets, and were packed up and ready to go. I had to wave them down as they were getting into their very nice, new(er) SUV and have them clean the oven, as agreed with scheduler. In spite of being told the lead cleaner was 80% proficient in English, there was definitely a language barrier that affected the ability to understand what their instructions were. Just nodded and said yes and did what they wanted. What they did do well was cleaning the refrigerator, the washer, the oven (it was a mess), cooktop, and the bathroom (less the baseboards and ceiling area "dusting"), and scraped something off the kitchen floor (I still don't know what it was). They did arrive on time and wore shoe protectors, which was greatly appreciated. I spot checked and found a couple items which they addressed. All in all, I've had to re-clean many of the areas they were tasked to do (kitchen cabinets, downstairs cabinets, dusting near ceiling, downstairs flooring). What I didn't do was check 100% of the work. They were tipped which I now regret as I find more things not done or need re-doing. I have learned a lesson that if you can't do it yourself, then you should be with them 100% of the time to ensure they do the work they were hired to do.
