So we eat here all the time, always good, little exceptional but always very good. Tonight was awesome. Who ever thought steamed mussels could be awesome? They were. Cooked in Switchback Ale, grilled switchback sausage, jalapeños, scallions, HONEY, and tomatoes. Talk about a thousand flavors. Then, the entree was swordfish. Swordfish in Vermont? Not exactly a seafood state. I wasn't expecting much. I was wrong. Who but a vermonter would put corn salsa on a swordfish?!?!? Someone has to tell these guys it's just not done, NOT! For starters I have a big family and the guy who served us it was just him and one cook in the back. He gave us one of the best service I have ever seen! I mean our drinks were out fast, he was not baffled on the amount of separate checks, and served us with a smile the whole time. If you go here you must get the wings! My goodness they were tasty! Also the nachos were great the meet on it was so juicy and not dry at all. And lastly the room itself was clean, spacious, and just overall a nice setting. Definitely recommend this place! My only complaint regret is that I did not get the amazing waiters name! read more

Came here for dinner as it was the only option for miles. They were running a cornhole tournament and it was pretty busy. There was indoor and outdoor seating. Service was very slow. Server gave us free drinks because it was so slow. They were having a special on wings. I ordered the sriracha wings and got a mix of sriracha and bbq. They weren't great but the price was good. My daughter got a small bowl of Kraft Mac and cheese for $8. It came with nothing else. My son ordered the kids' burger and got the adult burger. My sister got the chicken thighs and the server told us the kitchen messed up the order and it took even longer to get her food. They comped that meal. We came here for lunch a year ago with a large party and they did much better, though it was not busy that day. Take your chances here. read more

We came to this place 2 years ago when we were at Jay's and it was a much different place Firstly, this is no longer a clubhouse or a grille. It's a Mexican restaurant... hmm yah. So we were expecting some very different menu SERVICE: 3/5 She was nice at the beginning. But I felt pressured to order a drink. She did encouraged us not to order too much because the dish sizes were pretty big. Anyhow. She didn't ask if we wanted separate bill, we waited for a while for her to come back. And then she kind of gave us attitude about how it's our responsibility to let her know that we want separate bill. Oh did this poor lady has trouble with the computer FOOD: 3.5/5 well we were expecting steak and lamb, not rice and beans... the portion was huge. ATMOSPHERE: this clubhouse is just nice. We were headed down through New England from Montreal to see the gorgeous fall foliage and found this place through the Yelp app. It was the only place open in Jay Peak and is actually a Golf Club restaurant which is open to the public. The food was delicious and service very accommodating. I enjoyed a hefty plate of chicken salad and the soup special which was a wonderful Spicy Butternut Squash. Hubby and guy friend each had a local beer recommended by our server. We were one of two tables in the restaurant since this was their last day serving food and entertaining golfers before Ski Season. read more

This year the theme is Mexican. Unsure we ate there and have to say the food was better than other places on be premises. The servings are somewhat skimpy but overall the food was flavorful. We had fajitas, enchilada and an order of beef tacos. The best part, the desserts. The fried ice cream and churros were good. The margarita was ok but made with a mix. Overall the better option if staying at Jay Peak. Just check next year if the theme change changes. read more

I ordered a small caesar salad and it was a perfect amount, but that's because my group and i ordered one of each appetizer so i'm not sure i have a valid opinion! for dessert, i ordered the chocolate ice cream. it came with three scoops and was delicious! both of these filled me up perfectly! the drinks took about 10 minutes which was a little while but i was fine with it because we had water automatically! when our waitress came and took our apps order she also offered to take our food orders and because of that our food came out about 10 minutes after the appetizers which was perfect timing as well! they have music playing during the weekends and while i couldn't hear it too well because we were on the opposite side of the restaurant, i could still hear a little which was good! the lighting wasn't too bright but not dim so it made a cozy feel and was perfect lighting for many. they are very family friendly and very quick when it comes to service, not to mention they are super nice and willing to help you and get refills or anything else you need, so i highly recommend! read more

We stayed at the Tram Haus Lodge this weekend (Fri-Sun) for the Vertical Challenge. After a so-so meal Friday night at Alice's Table, we decided to give the Clubhouse Grille a try. Our meal was very good- definitely a cut above Alice's Table. Cheese plate, tuna entree, and pork belly entree were very nice. Service was good, and we had a nice view of the mountain. Especially for the price. And it's mexican food...not American. The only thing american is the kids hamburgers. The burger was dry and over cooked. I got the enchilada. The rice was hard, as in re-heated in a microwave hard. $25 for microwaved shit food.... Staff was lacking too. the servers hung out in the corner and never checked on us. I never got a second beer and 4 of us sat there with empty cups for over an hour. For an appetizer, we ordered the guacamole and nachos. She brought out a bowl of guacamole and no nachos. After 10 minutes I walked around to look for her and told her we sill haven't gotten out nachos for the guac. She tried to insist you dont get nachos with the "Homemade Guacamole and Nachos." Don't waste your time or money. Your better off getting a ham and cheese sandwich from the gas station....seriously. read more

Few check ins are ok, but not when the drinks are obviously empty. I had to lean into the walkway to get attention. And that was on a slow night. If you don't feel like doing farther it's, fine. DO NOT order the bucatini pasta bolognese (23$). I should have sent it back to the kitchen but I've never done that so It didn't cross my mind until I was lying in bed hungry following dinner. It was not edible. It consisted of a squashed hamburber covered with approximately one cup of pasta and a cup of jarred marinara sauce. However, the NY Strip Steak was very good (34$) as was the roasted duck (approx 35$). Overall it's too expensive to be served something I wouldn't feed my pet. By far, the most disappointing experiences of our vacation to Jay Peak. Food was sub-par, the staff was unattentive, and I was was distracted by the hostess flirting with some man at the bar most of my meal. I was unhappy about my meal and when I expressed this to our waitress Rachel she said "yes I know it's not very good" and walked away nervously? Also their seemed to be no supervision over any of the staff. When we got our bill a drink was overpriced than what I was told, when I approached our waitress about this, she was not going to fix this problem. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere off the resort for dinner. No one in our family was pleased with their food here. I ordered the salad and soup of the day, I've had way better soup and salad at Panera bread (or even from the grocery store) than what I had here. Soup had no flavor, lettuce wasn't fresh and the cheese on top was old and gross. My dad was across the table from me and ordered the steak medium well and it came out and was totally raw in the middle. Absolutely disgusting. Looked like it was cooked half as long as it should have been, wasn't even pink or red- just raw meat! Falafel was dry and caprese appetizer was disgusting. Won't go back here or anywhere on the resort after the terrible quality of the food. read more

I would definitely eat here again. We had a rainy day lunch after our plans to go up the tram were squashed and were pleasantly surprised. The bowl of onion rings we got for app was huge and the horseradish dipping sauce was great. We each got the club and fries and the combination of turkey, ham and bacon all being on both top and bottom of the club was great for a lunch sandwich.. I just wished I had remembered to add cheese to it. Had a nice view of the golf-course and the service was very nice. If we ever visit Jay Peak again we will be returning for sure. read more
