I'm only giving two stars today because I personally know some vendors that had just settled in after setting up and decorating their space- only to have them told, that Painted Tree is closing and you have to get all your stuff out asap. Understandingly, most vendors were shocked and upset. This follows other recent stores that closed featuring handcrafted goods- Ivy and Sage Lifestyle Company in Gilbert also closed their doors Feb 21st and Reel Deals on HIgley Road shut their doors too. I feel for all the hard working vendors who put their love into creating their products and now have to scramble to find new ways to show and sell their work.

I'm not greeted by anyone, 2 people are there talking to each other, I don't know if they're customers or workers so I just stand by the register. Eventually one of them comes over while still talking to the other and asks me if I need anything, so I respond that I need a pickup order and provide my name, which I have to repeat because Toryanni is very common, they continue speaking to each other the ENTIRE TIME. I'm then told they have to go to the back to find it and then I'm told that I can use 10% off in store if I want, because clearly they've done a great job at being welcoming and doing customer service. I just leave but I'm not sure why this location has issues. Superstition Springs is a dream everyone there is always friendly and offer different tips on how to get things I need and ask how I am or if I need anything else and am I sure I don't need those new whatever accessory. The point is the attention is on me the customer not treating me like I'm an intrusion on a private conversation.

I even apologized for coming in during the last half hour. We bought huge hauls of merchandise and for the most part the two employees were fairly kind but something seemed off. As soon as my last friend stepped outside, the female employee SLAMMED the door and screamed and laughed, "We're CLOSED!" Look, I work in customer service too and I get you want to go home at the end of the day, but that just rubbed me the wrong way. It's not like we were in the store past closing time (like I said it could have only been a few minutes). This is the first and only negative Yelp review I've ever written. The store stock was great and I found all the merchandise I needed (in fact I wanted to go back in for more.)
