When the steak showed up it looked good and I cut into the steak. It was done to perfection. It had some kind of JD whiskey sauce on it. I took a bite and it was awesome. SO much flavor. We had the Mud Pie. Yep, it was a HUGE piece for less than $10.00. Great value and man.........., was it good. Enough for 2 people. It really creates that intimate setting when you can share with your significant other and it be more then enough. This place would have gotten 5 stars had the interior temp been comfortable. 4.5 stars! The bill for the two of us, no alcohol, was right at $140.00. with tip were out the door at approx. $170.00. We love the scenery going up, but we also love seeing the old store and the beautiful location right by the old Hearst warehouses that held all the treasures that he was importing from Europe to put in Hearst castle, which is right across the street and up the mountain. They're always tourists there, who are very friendly! Sometimes we share a table with people and learn about where they're from and how they're touring California. We even give them a hint or two on what we like around town. There's nothing like local knowledge to help you out when you're traveling. We were sitting with a couple from England the other day who were touring the coast and we were able to give them a hint or two about what to see while they were here and also which tour to take at her castle! (The guest house tour is great, you get to see the real undisturbed castle interiors.) On our most recent visit, Sebastian's had wine tasting out on the patio. Patio seating is limited, because they reserve three tables for wine tasting!! We did discover a lot more seating had been added out in what used to be a horse corral, so we ambled on over there. We sat at a high table, kinda on the path out to the horse corral, where there was shade. We sat in observed all the other people coming and going while we enjoyed our delicious Californian sandwich!

Its often foggy in the morning so I start with owner Becky's decaf coffee and my hub chooses reg coffee. Its cozy inside the restaurant and the service is perfect. Glad I found Indigo Moon. The outdoor patio is quite large and has a nice ambiance for al fresco dining with your pup. I had the Faroe Island Salmon served with broccoli and cauliflower with brown & wild rice. The salmon was one of the best salmons I've had. I usually don't eat the skin, but this skin was crisp and the salmon was cooked perfectly. If you love salmon, this is a must. My friend had a chicken pasta and also loved their main dish. Unfortunately it was a special that night so no clue how often they have it For dinner I went with the pecan crusted halibut topped with a leek sauce and my wife had the fish and chips. Both completely outstanding. The fish and chips were so good I kept stealing off my wife's plate. My dish was equally as good. Even the broccoli was delicious!! Nothing was left on our plates. I'm not sure why they asked if it was our anniversary when they did zero for it. Don't ask if you don't care. Previous visit I had the lamb and my wife had the steak. Highly recommend you eat her.
