This restaurant is amazing. I'm genuinely surprised more people don't rave about this place. After having a disappointing experience at Linn's, I was expecting more of the same from other restaurants in Cambria, but I couldn't have been more wrong. First, the value is excellent. My husband and I both ate for about $45 total, which is impressive considering Cambria is such a popular tourist destination. The service was fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant itself has a fresh, inviting atmosphere, and the patio is beautiful. If the weather allows, I definitely recommend sitting outside. We ordered the Two Egg Breakfast and the Monterey Scramble. The Two Egg Breakfast was exactly what you'd want from a classic breakfast: simple, fresh, and well executed. The Monterey Scramble, however, completely stole the show. Let's start with the salsa. It was absolutely delicious. As someone who's Mexican, I tend to judge a breakfast place by its salsa because if the basics are done well, the rest of the meal usually follows. They nailed it. The pico de gallo was also fresh and flavorful and paired perfectly with the scramble. Overall, this is one of the most underrated restaurants in Cambria. I'm honestly surprised it doesn't get recommended more often, both by locals and online. If you're visiting the area, don't overlook this place. It's absolutely worth a stop. read more

Service is great, food is great, garden is beautiful if you get to sit outside. I have been here every time we pass through because my son loves it. He swears by their French toast. I have tried their garden scramble, hash and their breakfast sandwich. All of them are very good. The best part is sitting outside though. We had a very tasty breakfast here at this cute restaurant in the heart of Cambria. It was a little cool so we sat inside but a lot of people were enjoying the lovely garden and patio. The French toast & pancakes were tasty & the bacon was delicious. Servers were friendly but super busy this morning, so it took quite a while to get served coffee and then for the food to come out. The waitress did thank us for our patience so they were aware. Ample parking in the lot out front. My wife enjoyed her egg sandwich. My Denver omelette was good. It just had too much tomato. Next time I'll ask for light tomato. Some of the country potatoes were overcooked and hard. We had breakfast here this morning and being Danish I was excited to see they had ebelskivers on the menu. They were nothing like ebelskivers. These were more like greasy old fashioned donuts with a very dense, doughy center that were fried in old oil. I could barely eat one. The sausage patties that came with it were dry, hard hockey pucks. I was sawing for days to cut it. The coffee was very weak. My husband's garden omelette with home fries were good though. Have eaten here before and was great, looks like new owners. Had lunch on 8/17/26 the food was good but the service was terrible. Seated on the patio and got menus and drinks fairly quick, waited quite a while to have a server take our order. They never came back to check on our food or refill the drinks. Finished eating and waited for a check for about 10 minutes, finally had to ask a different server to get a check. Don't know if I will be going back. read more

We stumbled across this little gem while shopping in downtown Cambria. It was a cold, foggy day. Walking in we were greeted with a warm restaurant, friendly staff, and fun holiday music playing. I had the French dip and fries. The sandwich was excellent. It was served HOT, with warm au jous and hot French fries. My honey had a 1/2 Mexican pizza. She said it was also excellent. She loved it. As a local resident we used to eat at creekside often. My husband loves the applesauce pancakes. I ordered pancakes to go and when I got home I was surprised when I opened the box. The pancakes were so flimsy and burnt and tiny. These are not the applesauce pancakes we remember. The pancakes were also undercooked. We sat on a corner table for a long time before being served. It was Mother's day for me. The waitress asked us if we wanted salsa and she brought us 2 bottles of hot chili sauce??? On the menu I had seen a picture of fresh salsa. Right after that we saw another table being served fresh salsa. So I have a question, why weren't we served fresh salsa after she asked us do you want salsa???? That was one thing I really wanted with my meal. I can think of many reasons why it took so long to be served, only the workers know. It was Mother's day and it wasn't that busy so that's not the reason. Stopped in on Tuesday morning for breakfast. Wow we hadn't been here before, it's small but has a nice patio. We were greeted immediately and told we could sit where we wanted. They quickly brought us menus and took our drink order. We placed our food order. And it was out promptly and everything from the coffee to the food was wonderful.
