Amazing place ! Next to the Moss Beach post office. Shondra is a wonderful host. Always a smile and wonderful, bubbly personality. The wines are amazingly good. You must stop over for a taste. There is a really nice interior sofa/casual seating area and also a large outdoor space when the weather is nice. Get a glass of wine and relax and enjoy an amazing experience

The ambiance and the general vibe of this unassuming wine bar is so welcoming. It's very cozy and the service is so friendly and warm. Stay a while and play a game or too in the lovely lounge area. The music is also on point! And the wine selection is excellent.

The wine is great! A lot of local wine! if you are on the coast I recommend a stop! I like the cheese plate.

Recent wine tasting of wines from Oregon. Mocha approves.

The Coastal Vine is our go to wine place on the Coast. The owner, Shondra, is so welcoming and we enjoy hanging out and sipping her nice selection of wines along with a charcuterie plate. We've met some really nice, talented people there. The atmosphere is warm and friendly with ample seating in the front and back areas and the outdoor patio. We particularly enjoy the nights Shondra has local musicians play and her wine tasting events that coincide with her wine club pick ups. We always learn a lot from the winemakers and/or reps. We've rented The Coastal Vine for a small private party as well. A perfect venue. And, Shondra is a perfect host.

This wine room feels like a living room. Love it!

Fantastic selection of old world and new world wines. My fiancé and I had 6 glasses - a GSM, a Beaujolais, and a Cabernet franc. She had a Chianti and garnacha. For those from San Francisco and the Peninsula - this is a hidden gem only a 15 minute Uber ride away. They also have great events in the evening with music and jazz. This place feels like a comfortable living room with a view of the beautiful California coast with a glass of delicious wine. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back!

I'm glad we stopped here along our 11am walk to have some mimosas, meat and cheese plate. The owner of the place sets the mood as a relaxed laid back and very accommodating. Exactly what we were looking for. We will be back for their wine tastings and evening drinks on their back patio with fire pit tables. So nice to get some fresh air, get out of the house, and have somebody really cater to your needs.

We were fortunate to stumble upon this hidden gem! Coastal Vine has just the perfect selection of wines. Super friendly and hospitable, attentive service. As of November 2020, indoor seating is limited (socially distanced). Back patio seating is open and PET FRIENDLY! The Coastal Vine is a quaint, little oasis for wine officicionados...highly recommended!

Always enjoy hanging out with Shondra!

$25 for a glass for room temperature syrah, and a glass of ice cold rose. Standards of other reviewers must be quite low.

The Moss Beach Distillery is stunning, boasting a rich history, a captivating story, and has a phenomenal view. One thing to note about accessibility: while there are steps, I didn't spot any wheelchair access to the main entrance. The restaurant has two levels. When you first enter, you're actually on the second floor, which feels like a beautiful, elevated space. From there, you can head down to the first floor for additional seating and the restrooms. I ordered a cup of clam chowder, priced around $11, and a side of sweet potato fries, also about $11. My boyfriend went for the prawn cocktail and clam chowder. We both agreed that this clam chowder was exceptional and a step up from what we had in Santa Cruz! It was wonderfully thick and bursting with flavor. I even felt it rivaled the clam chowder I had in Monterey, which I've always considered the best. The scenery, the ambiance, and the incredibly friendly waitstaff all contributed to a truly beautiful experience. I'm so glad I decided to come here!

Although I didn't feel any spirits during my time here, I believe the ghost stories. Makes the experience more interesting. What used to be a speakeasy during the prohibition period is now a cozy restaurant right on the cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The view was spectacular, no matter where you sit in the restaurant. You order and pay at the bar, and then they bring you your food and drinks. At first, I sat outside on the patio, but I had no reception so I needed to go back upstairs and decided to sit in the room left of the bar. It was cozy. The weather was moody and I was still able to experience those ocean views. Make sure to connect to the Wi-Fi for the best reception. For a quick bite, I ordered the French onion soup (which they are known for) and I also ordered the Caesar salad. Probably one of the best French onion soups I've ever had, and knowing that the kitchen it was made in is probably haunted made it taste a little bit better. I would definitely come back.
