Usually coffee bean has great service. I went for the mug promotion and placed an app order. After I get my order I asked If they stil had mugs. They told me I couldn't get one if it wasn't added as an offer onto my phone. There was no option to add it on my mobile order anywhere and I even showed their manager. I ended up going through and just ordering through the drive thru again so I had to pay twice. Terrible customer service and they even mentioned it should be there unless I used it. read more

Was discriminated against at the Baldwin Park location for being disabled by employees and manager. Refused to serve a person with a disability through the drive thru. This the only location that has refused me service. The manager was rather rude and abrupt. I will be reporting this to the corporate office and to the DOJ American Disability Act. Really disappointed in how they handle their closing time. We were in line at the drive thru for about 10 minutes and we arrived the ordering station at exactly 7pm and they refused to take our order stating they were closed. This place is finally open! I'm so happy there is a drive-thru coffee/tea place right here, it's really convenient to be able to get something to drink and snack on, then hop on the 10. Peach tea 5/5 love the flavor doesn't taste artificial, caramel ice blended drink 4/5 not as sweet as Starbucks (which is a good thing). Like most chain stores, this place started out with great service. At one point I even personally knew three people who worked here. But over time (mainly over the last two years) the original staff have pretty much left and a lot of the newer cast of characters are way slower. Sheez it took almost half an hour to get through the drive-thru in my most recent visit to get just one ice-blended drink. IDK about the other reviewers but for me the recent summers have been intense so I don't mind if there's a little more ice than usual in my drinks; I just wish they'd use slightly less as it gets colder. This was my experience with this coffe shop's restroom locker. While some others restroom use code, they still offers physical lock by yourself that others can't open until you unlocked it from the inside. What happened with this particular restroom is that they offered lock by pressing some red button to show people that you're inside but still easily opened from outside if people have the code. Luckily I was only washing my hands when someone suddenly opened it. Both me and the other person got surprised and embarrassed. It was awful experience since it was no one mistake at this point. And, no I didn't forget to lock it, i pressed that little button 4 times to ensure it was locked. What if someone used the toilet, and suddenly someone crashed in? Or just that my restroom locker is broken, the restaurant staff or technician should check this regurlarly otherwise someone will experience what I experienced again. The locker sounds modern but work ridiculous so be aware and careful when using the restroom at this particular store. read more

Drive-thru with Convenient location next to the on. Most, not all, of the staff is energetic and friendly enough, however, whoever is in charge of ordering needs to step it up. While I do not come every day, there have been several times that they are out of something. No everything bagels, no cream cheese, no raisin bagels, no soy milk. No bagels at all. I focus on bagels primarily because their pastry and/breakfast selections are limited, and not very good so I stick to bagels. In any event, running out of stuff is not good and I hope they upgrade to a better selection of food items to choose from and keep enough stock on hand. read more

This is probably the best coffee shop I've ever been to. It's so easy to order and they don't even take that long to do your drink. I always order the ice blended mocha and it is amazing. This Coffee Bean location has the BEST service. Came here on a Saturday to study. This place is good for students who look for peace and space to study. I was sitting at a table and realizing that I forgot to get my drink( not paying attention to when my order was called). The girl (do not know her name but she has glasses on) works here just came up to me and gave me my drink! What an EXCELLENT service. She is more than outstanding. Not only that, she was smiling at me the whole time. Not even a 5 star restaurant, but the service here can definitely be compared to a 5 star restaurant. It was very disappointing having been a customer at this Baldwin Park location for some time. My usual go to order is a Large Hazelnut Latte with an extra shot with Oatmilk and extra hot. Having to pay for all the EXTRAS I should know how my coffee taste. It tasted really bad this time like rotten coffee. I even asked my husband to try it and he too said the oat milk might have expired. I went up to the counter and told one of the employees. The guy employee said no worries we will remake your drink. 15 minutes in and my drink was not even out. They have 5 employees at the store but yet my replacement drink was not out. This is absolutely not acceptable. One of the employees manning the DT station finally asked me what i was waiting for. Seriously 15 mins in you are still asking me what I was waiting for? She then asked the the female barista to remake my drink. The barista was having a bad day or something because the 2nd drink she made was luke warm when I specially asked for extra hot. My husband even put his finger inside to show them. The barista finally whip up the same order the 3rd time and finally got it right. Came here to get a quick coffee and breakfast after dropping off my kids before work. Long story short they refused to serve me because I forgot to bring a face covering, i had my face covered when I pulled up and when I asked them for an extra they said they didn't have any. Wtf what kind of place doesn't have spare face masks for customers? I was tired (I have a 9 mo old) and in a rush, they really need to provide solutions for the customer as a business. Coffee Bean over Starbucks all day errday! I'm a coffee bean fanatic and a shameless over-user of the app. My recent go to is the cold brew vanilla bean latte, it's perfect because it's a less milky/heavy latte so it's all the flavor without the guilt...which I need since I'm having it as often as a I can! My other faves are: early grey latte with almond milk (hot) , hazelnut and vanilla lattes (hot and iced) with almond milk, and a plain hazelnut nut iced coffee. I think what makes their drinks so good is the powders they use to flavor their drinks. It really makes such a difference in the quality, taste, and even texture of the drinks. I loveeee the app because I can easily choose my usual order at my local coffee bean and pick it up without having to stand in line on my way to work. Plus I can rack up points even if I decide to pay with card or credit cards the old fashioned way. In other words, not through the app. I only wish there were more locations! read more

Imelda immediately asked me if i knew about the new friends coffee and told me it was on special. She helped me through every step and went way above and beyond to make sure i got what i needed. She also patiently waited as i downloaded the app so i could get my points. And every item i bought came with a free drink! Which she patiently waited for me to pick out. Great employees, but service is as slow as anyone can wait for a drink. You can order online 10-20 minutes prior to coming to the store to pick it up, they still make you wait for the drinks. Especially when someone who is on their way to work and wants to stop by for a cup of coffee, I expect more from bean. I love their drinks, I come to this almost once or twice a week, but service will always stay the same. As of this review, December 31st, their dine in is closed and their drive thru line literally doesn't move at all. I placed an order on their app, but I was late for work due to the wait time. This is the best coffee bean ever:) I came in and asked the difference between the pure and midnight cookies and cream drinks and by the nice cashier was given an answer to suffice my question, then I didn't realize until after i got my drink that i accidentally ordered the pure one even though i wanted the midnight. I at first drank it anyway cuz it was really yummy and i didn't have any complaints. I soon after felt i really wanted to try the midnight c&c so i went back to the cashier ready to pay for any extra add ons to the one i had to make the midnight c&c or just a new drink, so asked a diff girl if it was possible, and she said yes! right away, so she started making a new one so i waited a bit then she just gave me the midnight c&c for free!!!
