I needed a pick-me-up drive-thru style. Found this cute spot and it was one of the best frappes I have had in a very long time. I couldn't decide which frappe so just went with the first one listed on the menu, the horchata frappe. If you love horchata, then this might become your weekly or bi-weekly spot. The cinnamon and coffee hit was perfect/not overly sweet. I am already debating if I need to go again tomorrow. BTW, the drive-thru feels a little bit like a driving test so take it nice and slow. read more

I normally am a fan of Tierra Mia but today this literally and figuratively put a bad taste in my mouth. When I drank my matcha there was paper wrappings ! I had to spit out so much of it and probably ate some . And it wasn't from a straw it is white with blue text, Staff didn't even apologize when I went back to get my money back and didn't even offer any help they just took the drink back . This is seriously DISGUSTING ! The pictures doesn't even show how much paper wrappings there was. read more

Love coming here for their tres leches muffin and horchata cold brew ! This is more of a drive thru location. There is 2 public parking spots & 1 Handicap parking. They do have indoor and outdoor seating ! But finding parking is difficult. You would need to park on the street or at a near by business. On the weekdays it gets packed around 8-9am and on weekends the rush hour is around 10am- 12pm. The outdoor seating aesthetically pleasing, and the workers here are quick and friendly! Easily one of my favorite go to coffee shops! read more

It's a tight fit, but they make it work. Even with a small footprint, there's plenty of seating inside and outside. I enjoyed an iced horchata latte with oat milk, it was luscious! The oat milk option still retained a rich flavor without giving up too much of the creaminess. I also usually go for a large since it's just too good to get a small. Tierra Mia is really nostalgic for my mom and I because when I was in high school, my mom used to go through their drive through if I asked before school and even sometimes we would be late because we're getting something from them! After seeing this place open for a couple years at this point, I've finally been able to try this location out. The parking lot/drive thru is a bit confusing. When you're going west on Amar (on the same side of the street as Tierra Mia), then the parking lot is the first opening before the building, and the drive thru is the second opening after you pass the building. We meant to go through the drive thru, but ended up in the parking lot instead so we just went inside anyway. It's very small on the inside where it's basically just an alley and 2-seat tables along the windows, while there's a few more tables in the outside patio. I ordered a medium Matcha Mojito Tea Lemonade ($5.25), and I've also tried the Pistachio Frappe ($5.25 medium). Both were really nice and refreshing, especially on a hot summer day. I think next time I would ask to reduce a bit of the sweetness though. Regardless I would order both of these drinks again, because they were still really good! Service was nice, I don't have any complaints. They took our orders and our drinks were out within 5 minutes. Everything was pretty straight forward and easy. Tierra Mia is one of the few places that I actually like the coffee from so it's a nice place to try out. It's definitely small, but if you're just wanting to grab and go then this is fine. read more

I want to start off by saying I don't even want to rate this place not even one star l... I want to say this place needs to hire people who actually are going to work faster are willing to actually work. I got there at 10:05 order at 10:08 for one coffeee. Was there for 15 mins and still didn't get my order. I decided to ask one of the cashier if my order was ready. I ask the cashier that was wearing green button up polo shirt. Not sure if she's the manger but she told me " I have to take out all the orders for the drive thru. I told her excuse me but I been here for 15 mins she said you want to cancel or wait for your order. I look at her and told her cancel my order keep in mind there is was a least 3 or 4 females working there slow works! I went outside to see how many cars were left only two cars left i remember seeing a red Tesla that Tesla was at the end of the line and that car wasnt there at all.. This was my first time here and the parking was kind of weird so we did drive thur. The outside was clean and the service through drive thur was good. The drink I got was okay I don't remember either of the names but I felt like it was a little to sweet but some may like that. 9/10 since the muffin was delicious and the location was very clean. LOVED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MUFFINS! This was my first time here since snap-e-tacos has closed *cries real tears* and a part of me wanted to HATE this place, but ahhhh, no can do. This might be my new favorite location. The drive thru is packed but not LA packed, they actually have muffins, and the workers are sooooo NICE! I came to get a giftcard my boyfriend wanted to get for my niece, and I was a bit afraid to get in (the parking is right in the front, and no longer goes through) but then I remembered I'm an LA driver and I'll be fine! I have been to this Tierra Mia a handful of times. The coffee shop is almost always empty whenever I come here. It's really quiet and a nice study spot for those who need it. While the services and people are friendly, I did find the drinks a little subpar. I have tried their green tea before and it's really refreshing; however, they could use a bit improvement in their coffee. I got their basic coffee and I couldn't finish it. To me, it tasted rather off. I tried their pistachio latte, and it just tasted like a basic latte to me. No pistachio flavor. I'm all for supporting small businesses around my area, but I would rather take my services somewhere else. However, if you like sweet pastries, this is a good place to go. They have a good selection of unique pastries, such as Tres Leches Muffin. It's really flavorful. They could use improvement on their drinks though. read more

I ordered an iced horchata latte and it literally tastes like water with a shot of expresso and a hint of cinnamon. Back then the consistency used to be so flavorful and semi-thick. Literally tastes like shit now. I called to express this and they didn't even offer to remake it. Just a simple "I'm sorry about that." They did have a long line which could have affected the way they crafted their drinks but that's no excuse. $7 dollars is $7 dollars. I couldn't find this location on yelp right away so I just used google maps to locate them. I went inside to order a horchata latte and was not greeted at all and was unfortunately helped by an unhappy cashier. I said good morning and still got a poor customer interaction just some mutters from the cashier. I didn't wait too long but over 10 mins was enough to be annoyed by the attitude. My latte was BLEH and I had to force myself to drink it so I wouldn't be tired at work (maybe she needed some coffee idk) all I tasted was the cinnamon that was chunky!! Gross! I've never had a bad experience with the horchata latte... My boyfriend had told me that the drinks are not made right from here, but I wanted to give them a try still. Took one star off because they take a while to have your order ready. I've been coming here since this place opened. The coffee is always good the staff is sometimes friendly. I came today, and there was only two girls working. They usually don't acknowledge you until they have the order ready. I came drive thru, I seen they had orders ready but mine they were barley even making when I got to the window. Idk how they work here but it seems backwards to me. I'm in love with the Coco! I'm in love with the Coco! I got it for the low low! And that my friends sums it up how I feel after having their deliciously and mos definitely delightful Leche de Coco. I'm not sure how or what they make this drink so mesmerizing to my palate but it keeps wanting more and more! Besides the mystery ingredients they actually top it off with real coconut shavings instead of added simple syrup like some other places I won't mention, bucks of the star. Great place to frequent for your caffeine fix. Unlike the other two locations I've been to this one didn't seem to have a lot of traffic. I ordered inside all the employees were very helpful. My order didn't seem to take to long either. I ordered the coco loco latte for my wife and a mojito mint lemonade for myself. Before leaving I ordered a tres leches muffin. Wow if you like tres leches cake you have to try this muffin. It was nice and moist to my surprise. Thanks to the employee who recommended to warm it up cuz it was on point. The drink I got here was Horchata Frappe, I think it came a bit too sweet although I still appreciated it on a hot day. Next time I really want to try the Mojito Matcha! Be careful when you pull in, if you are making a U-turn the entrance for the drive thru is the second entrance. The Cafecito Cubano Con Leche is my absolute favorite drink. It 1000% better than Starbucks coffee. It blows and flavorful. We actually walked into the store rather than the long line at the drive through. It was definitely faster since there was no one inside. I order and was promptly served my drink. Unfortunately there's not too many locations by my house so happy to find this one around the corner from a friends house I routinely visit. I had a terrible experience at this location. We wasted a significant amount of time waiting in the drive-thru, only to find out that Apple Pay was down. The staff didn't inform us about this issue while we were ordering, which led to a lot of frustration. We ended up leaving without getting anything as well as the girl working March 25,2025 at 8:19 was laughing that we couldn't pay when it's very much the staff fault for not informing.
