I did want the strawberry matcha, but I think the employee might have misheard me. They have coconut milk! I was happy they have more options than most places. Anyway, it's fine, because the drink is still a matcha, which was what I wanted. The matcha was extremely bitter before mixing. I almost thought it might be unsweetened, but after using a straw to stir, it tasted just right. There are books and board games here. Overall, very clean and modern look. A little worried I might not be able to sleep early today, but at least the drink is yummy! The second time, I have proof so I know for sure I asked for strawberry matcha. Will I be able to try it? Maybe they ran out, or maybe they forgot. Either way, I've been paying a little extra for it each time. It is a little busy on a Thursday morning. Croissants look great and huge, but cost about the same as a drink.The matcha itself tastes okay. However, there is too much ice in there for my liking.

They also have wholesome foods such as breakfast sandwiches and burritos which-- if I didn't have dinner plans after my study session-- is always appreciated as too often the food at coffee shops are sugary pastries and a bunch of empty calories. Service was friendly and personable. Communitea shows its dedication to being a warm, welcoming third-space environment. There is a shelf filled with board games and a kids play area (if you have one of those). They have assorted merchandise like coffee beans, plants, mugs, chips & snacks, etc.. There were flyers for all types of events throughout the month. I don't often write reviews I don't even live anywhere near Brea, but I would love to see this business thrive if not expand.

Although I couldn't really taste the bourbon, all the other flavors were present from the sweet maple, smokey hickory, and occasional bursts of sea salt. Oh, and a great roast of coffee. This was a coffee drink I'd come back for again and again. The pastry case looked inviting but I was stuffed from lunch so passed. But dang, they amazed me with that smokey maple latte!

My family and I have several Coffee Bean gift cards. Two of my family members wanted to give their money to me because they know I (used to) like Coffee Bean. I emailed customer service to see if they could be combined into one card. Instead of honoring that request, they said that I had improperly accessed other people's (my family's) accounts. They shut down those accounts and zeroed out the gift card balances. They would not return the money even after all the cardholders asked for the money back. They confiscated about $59 of gift card money from us. California law states that the value on a gift card belongs to the beneficiary, not to the issuer, so I don't see why they think they can confiscate the gift card funds, but it's just me against them. After weeks of emails with customer service, they will only return the money if we provide receipts for the gift cards, which we don't have because most of the cards were gifts. I hope you consider my experience--where Coffee Bean demands a receipt to use our gift cards--before buying a Coffee Bean gift card or giving them any of your business. read more

I absolutely love The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf! It is hands down my favorite spot. Their drinks are always such great quality, and I actually love that they use powder because it gives everything a consistent, smooth taste every time. But what really keeps me coming back is the atmosphere and the people. The location is beautiful and always feels so inviting, and the customer service is truly unmatched. Everyone is so kind, warm, and welcoming and it genuinely feels like a second home. I come here almost every day, and they know my name and my drink by heart, which makes the experience even more special. It's little things like that that make this place stand out. So nice to have a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf close to work! You can't go wrong with the original Iced Blended Mocha! It is definitely my must have! There are also delicious baked goods here. I really enjoy their cream cheese danishes and mini bear claws. They are the just the right amount of decadence. The inside has a lot of seating (plus free wi-fi), but beware the place will be usually packed with students & their laptops. The staff is really friendly and provide great service! Her presentation is gorgeous and she's constantly on top of it. When I walked in today, I could immediately tell something was off. She had a long line of online orders and they kept printing out whilst she was struggling to try to finish the four different acai bowls she was working on. She had no one to help her to clean the blenders or anything else that needed cleaning and she looked extremely overwhelmed and upset. And I know me walking in was only adding to her stress. She needed back up and to see that she had no one broke my heart. As someone who has worked in the food industry, this is uncalled for. Give your amazing workers a raise and provide them with the back up they deserve.

It's made with "rich chocolate and toasted marshmallow with just a whiff of smoke." The chocolate definitely overpowered everything. Especially with the decaf espresso, making it more bitter. I wouldn't describe the taste as "s'mores." More so chocolatey if anything. Pricing: Average price for a 16 oz. This drink was $5.25. The main reason for the stars off was not having regular caffeine, the flavors could've been better, and the service was okay.

But there's something to be said for how they've been around for so long, and how they always have in stock ice cream cakes that never disappoint--and who doesn't love a good ole ice cream cake?! And for how they always have cake supplies like candles and toppers conveniently available. But got some noteworthy good service the other day at this particular location. AND... when I saw these chocolate covered ice cream treats on a stick curiously positioned upside down in plastic cups in the freezer by the entrance, I had to ask what these were. They were DUBAI's!!! "GET IN MY BELE!" Before you know it, that's were they went. Sure it spoiled my lunch (it was only 1130am), but it was totally worth it. One of the best Dubai anything's I've ever had. I didn't expect that from the "McDonald's of ice cream." Thanks BR for keeping up with the times. I like your creative new logo too. :)

Stopped by this location on our way home after having dinner in downtown Brea…read more I have never been to a yogurtland location that was missing so many toppings, especially the fruit. When I got to the topping bar I was extremely disappointed hardly any fruit was out. I asked the employee if they had any strawberries thinking maybe they had some in the back and he responded no & that they were all out. Again this has never happened at the chino hills or Eastvale location or any other yogurt place. It was close to 9pm when we arrived so maybe the employees didn't care to prep for the night or whatever but that was disappointing. When I get to the front of the cashier the two young employees were just leaned against the counter talking about their idea of what "busy" looks like to them. When the cashier walked up to the register he didn't bother to ask if I had a phone number or rewards with them so I had to bring that up myself. This location could really step it up service and product wise.
