It's refreshing when baristas are familiar with the drink options like the back of their hand. The guy who helped us was sweet, he very was professional. Also, I love seeing a diverse crew, it's a very inclusive space. I stopped by for a Pumpkin Crème Cold Brew because this location is one of the best in the area when it comes to specialty drinks. We ordered three drinks and some egg bites, our order was out in a jiffy. I highly recommend the egg bites, they're perfectly eggy and have the right density. Been coming to The Coffee Bean, consistently, since February. Ginnelle was the first barista I came into contact with and she was so helpful. She helped me pick a drink, answered any questions I had and told me about how their promotions work, if I got the app, which I did! It's always a pleasure seeing her on subsequent visits. I always order one of their cold brews and they pack a punch, which is greatly needed and appreciated. I also get my cold brew topped with a cream cap that is so delicious. These days, I'm loving their Ube cream cap the best. Service is usually friendly and if you have the app, they will run promotions periodically, and some of them are a great deal! With each purchase you also earn points towards a coffee or a bakery item. Sometimes it takes a bit to get through the drive through, so make sure you have a few extra minutes to spare to get through the line. My sister and I came here to try some of their breakfast items & drinks. Upon arrival, we were greeted fairly quickly and the workers also had no problem giving us a couple minutes to decide what we wanted. I got the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito and I thought it was really flavorful! I only wish they had some ketchup to dip it in but it was still really good either way. My sister got an iced chai latte and thought it was good as well. She only commented on the strength of the chai. As a regular chai-drinker, she thought the chai could have been a little stronger, but it's also a personal preference. Their service was pretty fast but it also was not busy. Additionally, they have a lot of seating and tables to hang out at, which are all very clean!! I was charged $55 for just three drinks.The cashier clearly didn't know how to properly run a gift card, and instead of taking responsibility or trying to resolve the issue, she blamed the system and acted like it wasn't her problem. Went to Coffee Bean in Riverside Ca., every month when you are a gold star member you get a free coffee on the first of every month, I became a gold star last year and every month I go up there to get a free coffee other then purchasing a coffee. We order the coffee get to the front of the line to pay and the guy was new he asked me did I want to use my points I said no I am a gold star, he says to me I don't know how to put it in the computer let me get my manager, waited for about 5-7 minutes then he says the manager said you can not get it until the 12th of the month, no email no info on app but waited until we ordered. I told my daughter no cancel it that's dirty wanting you to pay and waited until you get to the front to tell you. I told my daughter to tell him that's ok we are going to Starbucks. Love that the have a large seating area, perfect to do some reading and studying (there is an area that is further from the entrance where you can do your reading/studying without many distractions or noise). I recently visited the drive-thru at this Riverside Plaza location, and unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. I placed an order for two regular-sized drinks: one iced vanilla latte with oat milk and one iced hazelnut latte with oat milk. I handed my phone to the barista with my free drink barcode from the Coffee Bean app and explicitly asked her to scan it to apply my free drink. However, she didn't say a word, simply scanned it, and proceeded to take my debit card for the payment on the other drink. When I received the drinks, I waited for a receipt, but the barista said, "You have all you need," and closed the window. After driving away, I discovered that we were given two iced vanilla lattes, both with an unpleasant taste resembling soapy water. I then checked my banking app, only to find that I had been charged $14.30 for the order, which is far more than what two regular-sized drinks should cost. This is not the first time I've had issues at this location--previous visits have also been marked by poor service and unprofessional behavior from the staff (they're just so rude every time and always seem annoyed). I've always enjoyed Coffee Bean, but these repeated experiences have left me very frustrated and disappointed. read more

Review: Extremely Disappointing Service at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit to this Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf location. I had already placed a mobile order and was completing an in-person purchase for pastries. During the transaction, I requested the restroom code. The employee at the register, Bethany, told me to wait. After the transaction was complete, she did not provide the code, and I had to ask for it again. Her response to my second request was delivered in a very rude and unprofessional tone. What was particularly jarring was her entire demeanor, which was completely unprofessional throughout this simple interaction. This experience left me with a truly terrible impression. Such a simple request should not be met with this level of discourtesy or an unprofessional attitude. As a result, I will unfortunately no longer be visiting this establishment. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it reflects very poorly on the service standards of this location. The entire interaction was sincerely disappointing not just the matter of providing restroom code but even simply placing an order was deemed as if she had no desire to be working at all. While i absolutely love the baristas here and the great coffees they make;the service is splendid But the design and layout of this particular shop SUCKS. The skinny little front area with one table, move that island of merchandise over there, and change it to a cascade tower. The island is too big and takes up valuable space. Also staging all your drink and food products in another area where you could also have more sitting space, bad choice. (And also right next to the restrooms ) All that being said, if corp can figure out how to fix the layout great. Nothing else needs to be done. read more
