I've been at their Horizon location more often as it's closer to my house. Been here 2x. Nice coffee shop with seating inside and outside. Latte can get pricey if you get a large and change the milk. Mine came to almost $10. Although good, it can be pricey. For 2 lattes, we paid close to $19. They were slow in getting the lattes to us so the person who brought it out offered us a free pastry. I appreciate it. The slice of apple pie was huge and good as well. We were there for a good hour and half, got a table inside and were able to get onto the WiFi and worked. Came in for a quick shot of espresso, and it wasn't good at all. It tasted so bitter that not even a small amount of sugar could balance it. I'm not sure what kind of espresso grounds they use or what kind of machine they're using but it tasted very bad. I'm a regular espresso drinker but this one wasn't pleasant. Just enough bacon to lift this dish but not unhealthy amounts. Service for drink was quick but it did take a bit for the entree. Visiting Vegas and needed a nice spot to grab coffee and lunch which I got some work done. The coffee class seemed like a great place to go. Everyone was so welcoming my entire stay, and I was there for about 45-1 hr. Their menu is very colorful and their pastries look so good but didn't have room to grab some. Next time for sure! I ended up getting a pesto chicken sandwich because usually those are my go to if a place has it. It was very delicious! I had a free night at Green Valley Ranch nearby. The secret when you stay there is to get up early, shower, and then leave and go to one of the many breakfast places nearby. No coffee in the room. No problem--just leave! I had The Coffee Class bookmarked for a while and this was the perfect time to stop. Easy off/on the 215. I ordered the breakfast panini. It is made with quiche egg, white cheddar cheese, ham or bacon (I chose ham) and cream spinach. I got a regular black house coffee which they refer to as Onyx. Free refills on the coffee. I also got two pastries to go. The panini was very good and a different way to have breakfast. Not my typical Benny or omelette, I enjoyed the perfectly toasted panini with it large amount of filling. The coffee was bold and got me ready for the day. Chef Beth Ryan-Small makes different pop tart pastries and I wanted to try at least one although not a fan of pop tarts from years back. I got an old fashioned apple pie tart. I also added a peach bourbon pecan scone to my to go order. Now I have dessert or a late afternoon pick me up. I was very impressed by the food in this intimate space. Service was very good! I love their avocado toast and egg salad toast, I want to try their paninis next time I visit, they also have amazing homemade specialty pop tarts. The coffee is great too, only thing other than proximity to me that is a downfall is the size of the interior. They've got a passing grade in my book, but they're no honor student. The Coffee Class is a relatively newer cafe (anything within a year pre-Covid is still new, isn't it?) at the corner of Eastern and Pebble. They're between Prosecco and Havana Grill, so don't do laps around the plaza looking for it as I did. I was recommended this spot when I asked fellow Yelper Lauren C. for a coffee-serving establishment with an atmosphere suitable for normal conversation rather than for quietude/studying. Indeed, the volume level was appropriate the whole time. The music (and hence the talking amongst customer groups) wasn't too loud, and it was full of pop hits and such. The mission statement and pricing speaks to quality, and I generally found that quality was exemplified. The iced Maple Blueberry Latte ($6 for 16 oz) was rich in both requisite flavors and the cow's milk bestowed the right creamy mouthfeel. It wasn't too sweet, but something about the flavor makes it less addictive than other lattes which I've had around town. If you love this specific flavor profile, I don't think you'll be disappointed. I hadn't eaten much before this visit, so I ordered a fair amount of food for one person. The Peach Bourbon Pecan Scone ($4.75) was enjoyable. The dough is a bit finer than some other local scones, but I didn't mind it. However, it was one of those Danish-type topping situations where all the flavor is a small surface area in the middle, so you have to make specific cuts or bites to get the filling. Once I got into the middle, I picked up a nice peach with some sweetness and tartness. The Ham & Fig Panini ($14) is just okay. The bread is soft enough - it's not a pressed sandwich, by the way - the ham is thick-cut and not too salty, and the cheese is gooey. However, because of the restrained salt punch, the sugar level of the fig jam really throws off the overall balance. There needs to be an acidic component to counteract it. My choice of side was the Caesar salad, and it was good but didn't really do much other than add general freshness and a feeling of "well, part of this meal is healthy." I'll probably wait for The Coffee Class to finish expanding into a space on my side of Henderson before I give them another try. They're a solid neighborhood coffee spot, but I would say don't go out of your way for them when there are great cafes and French patisseries all over town. read more

Here for the poptarts! Pastry picks have been on fire lately! We're probably here every week for the last month or two. Campfire S'mores Poptart | The presentation with the toasted fluffy marshmallow on top, chocolate drizzle and graham crumbs was very appetizing. The pastry may look super sweet, but it's actually toned down just a tad bit! Probably my favorite poptart. The cinnamon and brown sugar overload filling was just the right amount for me. Couldn't wait for this flavor to be back. Old Fashioned Apple Pie Poptart | This is the newest poptart flavor of the Summer, I think. The appple was baked well, neither mushy nor firm and with a slight tang and little bit of cinnamon. Maple Blueberry Latte (Iced) | Maple taste wasn't as strong, kind of a bummer because I love maple everything, but absolutely liked the blueberry. This is the first time I've had blueberry flavored coffee. I wasn't sure I would like it, but apparently it went really well with coffee. Hibiscus Beet Iced Shaken Tea | I'll order this again! The color was as beautiful as the taste. It's tarty and sour similar to cranberry juice with a subtle floral and earthy undertone :) Service: It's always perfect, but not sure what's going on this particular Sunday. Maybe they're just busy because it's the weekend. My cold brew was forgotten, until I asked the server to follow-up :( The Strawberry Croissant which my mom always gets every single time was a bit off with the strawberries being sour, I mean it made our jaws weak lol. So I happened to be scrolling through Instagram and came across a photo of delicious looking crème brûlée French toast and a video of them making a blue latte. I knew I had to try them out. It was a little hard for me to to find the business only because I'm not familiar with that shopping center. It's located in the far southeast corner, overshadowed by the end business. However, the sign is clearly posted so once you become familiar with area, it's a piece of cake to find. They have indoor and patio seating. There is a barcode taped to each outdoor table so you can place your order, which has your table number, so ordering is easy peasy. You can order inside too and they have a pretty copper water barrel that you can self serve a cup of water, which I loved. Inside is quaint and lovely decorated. They have table seating and high table seating. Their pastries are made fresh daily and they will be on my agenda for my next visit lol. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Our wait time was a reasonable wait time of maybe 10 minutes or less, the food came out hot and fresh. Everything was flavorful and served at the appropriate temperature. Our table was cleared off within a few minutes of finishing our meals. Staff was great in asking if we were wanting or needing anything else. I absolutely recommend this place for a nice change of pace for breakfast. They open each day at 6:30am so it's a perfect and wholesome spot to go to after a morning workout session. read more

The worst customer service I have ever experienced . I was excited to come back here since my first experience here was great , today it was awful. The cashier forgot to ring in part of our order , avocado toast, a fast easy make. As I'm watching everyone around us get their food that came in way later, I finally walk up to the register. The guy told us he forgot to put in our order. I guess he was never going to tell me. He then proceeded to try to charge me for the item he still never put in , after my family was already finished with their food . Hey Yelpers! So the wife and I came here on a Sunday because the wife loves coffee. I was looking forward to brunch. This ended up being more Starbucks with a larger menu than full service restaurant. I'll keep my review short. You do almost everything yourself. No menus, no greeter, no interaction with an employee until the bring your food to you. Menus are a QR code, order on your phone (and there are a LOT of options for each menu item: it took us 20 minutes to order), get your own water, and then wait for them to call your name to flag them down with your food. My drink (jasmine lychee iced tea) was ok. Described as "slightly sweet" on the menu. I ordered it half sweetness and it was still really sweet. The biscuit and gravy was very good. I added on a side of scrambled eggs and put it on top. The croissants my wife ordered were huge. The ham that came with them was nice. The food definitely bumped it up to 4 stars from 3. It would be nice with the servers would check on you once in a while. We had to get our own to go box for a leftover croissant. First world problem but it's the small things that make or break it for me. Overall, it's a nice place if you aren't looking for full service. It'll be on my radar. read more

If they had it on a sourdough, it would be even more phenomenal. Today's drinks surprisingly disappointed me. The London fog tea was ordered as a hot latte. When tasting, it was lukewarm. The flavor was good though! The banana bread latte was on the sweeter side. If you like sweet drinks, this is great. In short, breakfast panini was amazing! They have a good selection of different pastries with some seasonal items as well. Coffee is a little pricey. Items tried: BlackBerry Strudel: one of the best items we had here. Ham & Jalapeño puff: real good. Reminds me of a jalapeño popper but more mild. Apple crisp pop tart: it was just ok. I'm so delighted to have stumbled upon the second location of The Coffee Class! I was familiar with their location on Horizon Drive but never knew they had another one right on Eastern! I visited on a busy Sunday morning. The coffee shop was filled to the brim with customers! Since it was so busy, sitting was limited, but thankfully I was able to find a spot on a long table that was right smack in the middle of everything. Because it was so busy and because I was right in the middle of everything, customers and staff kept accidentally bumping my seat or the corner of the table which made eating uncomfortable. Speaking of uncomfortable, the seats at the table were metal grids without any cushions, and by the time I left the coffee shop, I had grid marks down the back of my thighs :(. Of course they did have better tables with better seats that were actually padded, but like I said, the place was packed and I had to make do with what was available. I truly wish they would invest in ensuring at least ALL the seats are comfortable to sit on though. Aside from that, the staff was incredible! They were so kind and very attentive. I loved how they remembered my name and checked in on me frequently! It was a nice personal touch in terms of customer service! As for food and drinks, I tried their Strawberry Croissant and the Lavender London Fog! I loved the strawberry croissant! It was stuffed with fresh strawberries and sweet and creamy cream cheese! The pastry itself was flaky and so delicious. The Lavender London Fog was delightful. It was a warm comforting drink that was not too sweet at all!
