I want to start out saying that I will definitely be returning to The Coffee Class. Great spot in Henderson. I went on a Saturday morning and here are my thoughts: Location: close to the highway in a shopping center with plenty of parking. Inside: not too small and not too big. But this is where they lost a star. Yes there is a nice amount of seating inside and out, however there is community seating right in the middle of the shop and when it gets busy, it gets congested in that area. There were a few times that people either bumped into the table I was seated at or it was like a tight maze trying to get to the bathroom. As I sat, I observed people consistently bumping into each other. Not because they were rude but because there just wasn't enough space with the large table in the middle. Due to the size of the place and crowd at times, If you are trying to go to the shop on a Saturday morning to do some work or study, you might find it a tad difficult. But with that said, let's move on to the food and drinks! Food/Drink: Delicious. The end.... I kid, I kid, there is more to the review, lol. So what makes this place stand out to me are the number of options of food and drinks to choose from. I would say there is something for everyone. I got the Wild Berry Poptart and the Maple Blueberry Latte. Both really good, however of note, the pop tart was pretty sweet so if that is not your cup of tea, no pun intended, then they do have other pop tarts that may tickle your fancy. Also I must add that the pop tarts are made in house which makes the tasting experience even better... yummmmmm. My beverage was better than expected. There were so many I wanted to try but upon recommendation from the cashier, I settled with the Maple Blueberry Latte. The Coffee Class If you are looking for a coffee experience, The Coffee Class is one you don't want to miss. This quaint cafe is nestled in an unassuming shopping plaza on Eastern and Pebble, just off the 215. This was my first visit to The Coffee Class, despite it being founded in 2019 by Las Vegas local, Kyle Cunningham. Cunningham's recipe for success allowed the Coffee Class to expand to three different establishments in Vegas area. According to their website, Cunningham wanted to create a "sophisticated coffee experience" and he did just that by assembling a variety of specialists from chefs to baristas who all are dedicated to excellent customer service. From the moment you walk in, it's as if you are transported to a European sidewalk cafe. The ambiance inside is chic with an eye catching chandelier and coffee inspired artwork on the walls. The Long community table creates an atmosphere of togetherness. Outside allows for more tables, and gives the sidewalk cafe appeal. Granted, summer is typically not the ideal outdoor weather, but the breeze and earlier brunch time made the experience comfortable. One of the things that called out to me from the vast lists of coffee places to try is the fact their coffee syrups are made in house, along with the delectable pastries. Nearly all coffee houses use the tried and true Torani syrups...so, of course, I had to try a place that makes their own. I ordered a Banana Nut Bread iced Latte with banana cream cloud top (cloud top is a yummy syrup infused foam made in house) and a pesto quiche slice. I also had to get a regular cup of coffee as well. My daughter and husband also joined me ... she ordered her own quiche and a Cookies and Cream Iced Latte with an Oreo Cloud, while he ordered his own Banana Bread Iced Latte with a Churro Cloud and two divine desserts: S'mores Poptart and a Brown Butter Oatmeal cookie. The quiche was very good. Eggs were creamy, not dry or watery, and flavor was layered throughout the filling. The crust was buttery, but not greasy. I've had disappointing ends to a quiche where the crust is either too greasy or too dry. This was not like that. It was a treat to finish off the crust after I finished the filling. I had mine with a side of fresh fruit. I was a little disappointed by the size of fruit side. It was a little small; however, it was fresh. My daughter had a side Caesar salad, which was also very fresh and came with handmade dressing. She enjoyed it! My husband was kind enough to share a bite of his Brown Butter Oatmeal Cookie. He had it served warm, and the brown butter oozed like lava across the top of the cookie. I could distinctly taste the oatmeal and butter cookie combination, and cookie just melted in my mouth. The brown butter reminded me of caramel without sticking to my teeth. In short, it was heavenly. I was not privileged with a taste of the poptart...but my husband said it was "on a different level" altogether. The pastry was flaky and the way the flavors blended together was a delicious experience. But the coffee...that's why we came...and it did not disappoint. First, the Latte. The syrup had the perfect blend of sweetness and flavor. You could actually taste banana bread in every sip. The cloud cream smoothly blended into the latte and did not overpower the drink with added sweetness or banana flavor. The regular coffee had a bold roast flavor, but not overly dark, which can be attributed to their high quality beans they get from Onyx Coffee in Arkansas. They are ground fresh in shop as well. If someone is more accustomed to a lighter roast, adding additional sweetener and cream/milk brings the body down. Keeping with the heightened experience, the coffee is served in its own pitcher with a side of milk, or cream, as requested. This is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone who wants a high end coffee and culinary experience. The adage of "you get what you pay for" definitely applies here. While $75 is definitely steep for an afternoon coffee stop, it resonates with the experience they provide. They have a unique food and beverage menu that sets them apart from other coffee shops. Customer service was top notch, and when the occasion is fitting, I can see myself coming back. They are a "class act." I came here to try the strawberry croissant recommended by Keith Lee, but unfortunately, I was not impressed. The cream inside tasted almost like straight cream cheese. I was expecting better. The croissant itself was good, but I only ate half because it just wasn't pleasing. The strawberry coconut hibiscus is good. I do recommend that one. The inside of the shop is small. My friend and I came at 12PM and it was busy but not too extreme. I love the here and ambiance of the cafe. It had a very cute aesthetic. I love love baked desserts so the different choices were great and had everything available. We decided to sit outside, there was a lot of chairs and tables outside and shade over. They got out food and drinks out super fast. I decided to get the strawberry croissant, which had cream cheese filling, strawberries and powdered sugar on top. It was $6. The vegan egg and cheese croissant is almost a daily go-to for me at this point. They also have a pastry which is delicious, but I personally don't always want to have that much sugar in the morning. Came here to their Eastern location this past Sunday around 9am. It was busy but we were able to maneuver our way into a indoor table as it was chilly that morning . They had a large outdoor patio area as well . We ordered two "poptarts" one was their wild berry one that looks like the wild berry PopTart . The other was a strawberry pop tart . These were absolutely phenomenal. They are closer to a pie texture with jam like fillings. To balance out the sweet we ordered a savory egg,spinach and bacon panini to share. The ciabatta bread was perfection. The service at the cashier was super helpful with giving recommendations. The Eastern location has a nice outdoor area with heated lamps. Indoors offers more seating and you will notice an amazing chandelier hanging. Love the touch of class. Coffee I have tried: Banana Nut Bread Latte, Vanilla Bean Latte, and Brown Butter Toffee Latte. My goal is to try one new to me drink each visit. Right now the Brown Butter Toffee is my favorite! Per the gentleman that helped me this was his favorite when he was a customer and is pretty popular amongst others. Food I have tried: Caprese Quiche, Hot Cocoa Cookie, Almond Croissant, Blackberry Cream Cheese Streudal, Jalapeño Ham Cream Cheese Streudal, and the Snickerdoodle Poptart.
