Different Pastries to compliment your coffee
    Tiff H.

This place is such a gem! 3 headed dragon here, offering you coffee/pastries, flowers, and knick knacks/souvenirs). The coffee baristas always have a good disposition and are super friendly. The drinks are simple yet delicious. It's a small but open and light space. They do have a coffee alternative menu so if coffee isn't your thing there are mushroom, cocoa drinks, matchas, and teas. They now have macadamia and pistachio but milk alternatives too. I love it here! Grab a coffee, some flowers for bae, and an artisan bag next door all in one swoop! Def worth checking out if you're passing by or have visitors in town

Stopped by the coffee method on the way to walking to the pier, and was pleasantly surprised by how adorable this coffee shop was! We ordered just a black coffee and an almond milk latte. And we loved both, but we're pleasantly surprised by just how could the drip coffee was! My mom couldn't stop raving about it the entire morning. What's also fun about this coffee shop, is that it is covered in flowers and plants that you can actually purchase! While waiting for our coffees we were able to explore the shop with their variety of succulents, house plants, and flowers. If we weren't vacationing, we probably would have walked out with one of their thriving fig trees. The entire shop was so inviting and cute. We stayed well beyond the wait for our coffees just because we enjoyed it so much.

Spicy Orange Mocha For A seasonal Flavor that's out of this world! Pumpkin Spice also for a fall favorite! Joe in here playing smooth jams and working the espresso machine! Friendly and attentive service, especially with a Smile! Check this place out for a nice cup of coffee surrounded by green, lush vegetation!

Kombucha (strawberry lemintade and apple ginger lime)

Cute little coffee shop connected to a florist! I saw they had Local Roots Kombucha on tap and asked about the flavors (apple ginger lime and strawberry lemintade). The girl working poured me small samples of the flavors and told us a little more about the kombucha since it was my first time trying kombucha on tap. Both were delicious so I ended up getting half and half! My husband ordered a cold brew and said it was very good. The Coffee Method also has lots of coffee and tea options as well as pastries. There are three tables for indoor seating and a small seating area outside.

2 Iced Vanilla Oat Milk Latte's

Hands down best vanilla latte I've ever had. I've been there twice now and it has the same consistent taste that not all coffee shops have. Very cute and quaint shop. Blueberry muffins are delicious too!!

If you need a cup of coffee and some fresh cut flowers, this place is for you. This place is all about fine organic coffee. I stopped in had a two shot Americano with room, and I saw some Bread and Cie Biscottis and I just had to have one. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/the-coffee-method-san-diego?select=00jKXJ4odedEh2NOORk2Lw#XTPnA0ufeqIY0HfE5b7YWA) The American was very good. It was light but full of flavor and very aromatic. No doubt, the biscotti was perfect for dunking into the Americano. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/the-coffee-method-san-diego?select=00jKXJ4odedEh2NOORk2Lw#lQ3p47X9fOBaORLPIl8BdQ) The biscotti had slivered almonds and chocolate chips in it, which were very good The biscotti was very crunchy, the way it should be. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/the-coffee-method-san-diego?select=00jKXJ4odedEh2NOORk2Lw#6S_IkeCOg1dcZINMFXgFrA) You can get a variety of coffees here, including Pour overs, espresso, French Press, and Chemex. The owner is quite knowledgeable about his practice and methods to get the best flavor out of a coffee bean. A smooth Americano indeed.

I'm kinda in love with this place. The service and coffee are equally awesome and the shop itself is a a little oasis. Everything is freshly made in house and options are endless. So happy I found it this rainy morning. Will be back again!

Great coffee. Not a bakery with coffee. Real coffee with different options for method of preparation. Cafe miel is awesome. Good service.

Probably the best coffee in San Diego! And I'm from Seattle so it's been rough finding truly good coffee but this place kills it.

Don't blink or you'll miss this teeny, adorable coffee cart…read more My fiancé and I were craving a cup of coffee after a leisurely stroll along Mission Beach on a random Saturday morning....where to go that isn't Starbucks? Lazy Eye to the rescue! Lazy Eye is sandwiched between two buildings with one table out front. It's a to-go place. When you're that close to the beach, who wants to be inside anyway? While they do offer regular brewed coffee, I'm pretty certain their specialty is all the delicious frou-frou coffee drinks. I usually don't go for them, but today, I was in the mood for it. Their milk chocolate mocha with light ice was delicious It made me very happy and our pup was super happy with the treat they gave him. They have a small bakery display which I passed on since we were getting brunch soon, but I'm sure there's something for everyone there. This location is open 7 days a week- 6:30am-1pm. Limited street parking as expected...it's Mission Beach. 5 stars! Check them out!

The staff here are incredibly kind and personable. They make everyone feel like a regular, even if you are just visiting the area. One of the best parts is their creative latte menu. The flavors are made in house and they rotate them seasonally, so there's always something new to try. I had to go for the banana bread latte because it sounded so unique, and it was amazing. Seriously so good and perfectly balanced. Such a fun little pre beach walk coffee stop with friendly staff and creative drinks.
