My fiancé had the Scotched Kiss Latte, which tasted like a creamy subtlety sweet latte. The flavors were unique and taste buds were in heaven with each drink. I had the Spanish latte which had bite! Spanish lattes are my favorite so I had high standards! Their Spanish latte passes the test for flavor, uniqueness, and bite! I absolutely loved their Spanish latte and would definitely come back for it. Their pastries looked freshly baked and delicious but since we just ate we held off on ordering any. This is one of my favorite places to eat, but PLEASE stop allowing dogs inside while ordering. I can literally see dog hair and pet dander floating in the sunlight and it's right by the coffee and kitchen opening. Today a dog was barking INSIDE where you order and was just ridiculous. Please post signs to keep your dogs outside, and dogs who are NOT social, please disallow them here at all as their incessant cacophony of barking at other well behaved dogs is quite bothersome. Came on a Sunday morning and that was a mistake. This place was absolutely packed - parking and all. Luckily we stalked a table that happened to be leaving while waiting for our food. It was out first time here and it was definitely a cute atmosphere but needs a better flow. Pros: The waffle was super fluffy and I mean fluffy. Dare I say it was the best waffle I have ever had, The fruit that came with it was super fresh and delicious. Cons: Staff ... you could tell they were annoyed with how busy they were. None of them really smiled nor made you feel welcome. There was a barista from which I asked for an extra cup with a lid for my son to get some water since he is 15 months old and I swear you would've thought I had asked her to give me her kidney. She reminded me of April from the show Parks and Rec. Staff was not vibin ... Also, I saw one of the gals refill the drinking water station and it was refiled with water in a bucket. The same exact bucket I have at home that I use to mop ... so that was awkward. OH and the fact the FRITOS are the chip of choice, uhm ... I won't be back unfortunately. Yikes. I'd come here a few times years ago and had a good experience but between my latest visit and the health score, I'm going to pass and hope things improve. I called in a takeout order for breakfast, and on arriving, not only was there no clear way to get my (already paid for) food, the place was packed with people not wearing masks. There were at least 10 people in line, all without masks, making the line so long it filled up the place. It was really frustrating to have ordered, paid in advance, and waited until the time my order was ready, and have no simple or somewhat safe way to get my food. I managed to get the attention of one of the staff, who was able to help me, but it would have been nice for there to be a more clear and organized process, and a method to keep from having such a crowded space. The shop is full of students and young adults on their laptops - not eating...this makes it tricky when nobody can find a place to sit and eat because they stay all day. They had some good looking desserts and things, I'd like to try one sometime. Overall I don't think I'd return for a meal - just a grab and go because the situation was less than ideal for that especially in the hot summer. read more

This place is honestly probably one of my favorite coffee shops to go to. The atmosphere is awesome. They have outdoor and indoor seating and allow dogs on the patio. The coffee and food honestly is pretty inexpensive and both are tasty! They have both breakfast and lunch food that you can order at anytime. They also have a selection of pastries and have different kinds every time I go. They have a fairly large drink menu that includes all kinds of coffee, espresso, tea's and even Italian sodas. The iced coffee here is delicious and affordable a 24 oz size (aka a Venti) is around $3. Extra points for non-dairy milks and flavor shots. We were headed to Joe's Farm Grill but it was a 45 min wait and we were starving. We ended waiting about 15 minutes to place our order and then another 15 to get our food. They have a decent size parking lot but if you're going during brunch on a Saturday... it's going to be tough to find a parking spot. Their chai latte had the right amount of sweetness and the perfect amount of spice...not too sweet and not too bland. Perfect bowl of kale, quinoa, feta, fresh tomatoes, avocado slices, warm 2 over-easy eggs on top...and crunchy bacon pieces! Great way to start my morning doing laptop work outside in their large back courtyard (they also have outdoor front and indoor seating)! It's no question I found the GOAT, unparalleled, holy grail of breakfast sandwiches today at The Coffee Shop and they're calling it Baby got Jack. It's got it all; eggs, bacon, pepper Jack, chipotle Mayo on prairie bread. I know right? My mouth is watering too. As if it couldn't get any better it came plated with a side of delicious greens. I paired it with a hot vanilla latte. Yum. My daughter decided on a iced vanilla latte extra sweet and a spicy ham and bacon burrito. Inside the burrito you find your obvious basics as well as jalapeño, Swiss, some onion and a side of salsa if you want to add even more spice. We were given a number and found a table in the shade outside because it was full inside. For a Monday, late morning it was super busy. The decor was awesome, cute mural outside, some parking front and back of the shop. Our food came out quickly and it looked amazing! The only thing that was a bummer for me is we had to move twice to get away from never ending flies. Not sure what the deal was. There is a smaller farm behind the coffee shop so maybe that was part of it, but we were luckily able to keep them at bay when we moved farther away from the building where a small breeze was. read more

This time around I made it this cool little place out in Gilbert. The first thing that caught my eye was the set up from the inside and outside. The Coffee Shop has a nice drink and food menu with plenty of options to choose from. This place has WiFi so i can definitely see myself coming here do some planning on my computer while enjoying the vibes. The drink itself was good. I honestly almost wanted to chug the whole thing and order another one for the road. The cupcake was okay for me, nothing too special. Cute decor around - definitely felt a calming and positive energy when I stepped in, even though the place was buzzing with patrons. I got a standard iced almond milk latte - pretty good. I also got a scone (DELICIOUS) and the baby got jack breakfast sandwich. Loved that the sandwich came with a side of fresh greens - love me some fresh greens. Again, the scone was amazing. I really want to love this place. But I can't at least not right now. Don't get me wrong, the place is really nice, the food is really good with generous portions. The staff is friendly, the problem is it's too busy. Every single time I have gone on my own to grab a cup of coffee or breakfast with the family it's crazy busy. Indoor seating is limited which this is Arizona, it is almost a must. Granted, there is ample outdoor seating with some shade. But depending on the time of the day, the position of the sun doesn't provide much shade even with the umbrellas. Besides, I'm not too keen on eating food outside with flies nosediving on my food. However, the food and pastries are always a hit. Going light, the veggie sandwich is really good with lots of flavors all coming together well. The breakfast burritos are also a crowd pleaser. The side potatoes are some of the best I've ever had. The coffee is good as well. All and all, I just wish there was better seating arrangements. Not much can be done to fix that as any renovations would take away to the curb appeal and aesthetics. With that in mind, best to time your visit and hope you get lucky. read more

I have a few reasons why I'm giving The Coffee Shop 3 Stars. Mainly the fact that they do not open until 8 am on the weekends. It was too busy, The line is IMPOSSIBLE in the morning and at times you need to fight for a seat. We actually decline going at times because the line is not very kid friendly. I would like to see a better ordering system as well as someway to streamline the "opening" buzz that this place gets. This last time I was here, I was second in line outside the front entrance, and it took me over twenty minutes to order. The food is always on point. The coffee/espresso is very decent. Pastries and cup cakes are 100% on point! I would recommend this place if you are going at alternate slow times. However if you go when its busy, be prepared to wait in line and share elbows with the people who are eating at tables inside as you wait in line. Its summer time guys! Open early and let the early risers enjoy breakfast. read more
