Pretty smart for the owners. So I'll eaten here quite a few times and their selections have the basics and a few different specials that usually is offered on a rotation of availability. Small dining area with a couple of tables. Primarily a take out establishment. The kitchen area is actually a larger floor space than the dining area so that means they prep and cook all day. Pretty busy the last few times I've stop by to pick up lunch on the road. That is a very good spot for a quick lunch and the selections are generally very satisfying. Definitely 1 of the better Dominican cafeterias around the neighborhood with a really good butcher shop next door and very convenient parking makes this an easy choice to make a break to Elwood Avenue so close to the the 95 exit. I recommend giving this restaurant a try if you're into the Dominican style food.

I heard some guys at work raving about a cafeteria they had discovered in a nearby office park, a cafeteria that was open to the public. I checked it out today. It's located in the basement level of a huge office building at 80 Lamberton Road. If you use the front entrance, be prepared to take a long hike all the way down the center corridor, down a flight of stairs, and make a few twists and turns in the basement to find it. If you use the back entrance, you'll save yourself a lot of time because it's kind of right there. It has a good sized salad bar with chicken and cottage cheese and surimi for protein. They also have an ordering line for hot and cold sandwiches, entrees and salad. Want to have breakfast? Yeah, they have that too. It really is quite a nice selection. I had a tortilla soup and a salad bar for about $7 -definitely not a bad deal. They have a very small dining area a few steps away. All in all, a very pleasant discovery....
