I contacted Terry Madsen at High Street Automotive through Yelp. Terry asked me to send the failed test report to him, and convinced me the sensor most likely are good. I just needed a proper drive to reset the sensors. I listened to him and drove the car follow the suggested driving pattern for ~40 miles. It passed! I most appreciated is the he offered his expert opinion without charge. Terry was not only just asked questions online. He went to extra miles ask me to send test report through email he gave to me during online exchange. It is rare nowadays.

The little 'computer' that used to be there to help you find the correct blades for your car was gone and the sign prompted you to scan a QR code. I did but then stood there to wait for the page to load as the signal inside the store was horrible. When I was about to go seek help, then the page loaded and I was able to find what I needed - by myself. When I went to pay, the cashier never said anything to acknowledge my existence until I said 'Hi'. No employee was rude, but 2-3 of them were more interested in chatting about their employee benefits than acknowledging customers. Very disappointed O'Reilly of Fremont.

I got my vehicle in and out without any trouble. Their prices seem fair. Jesse was the one that I spoke to and at the end of the service, he told me that they had checked my break fluid for me (without me needing to ask) and recommended that I come back in a year to get it flushed out since it was still good at the time he checked it. Fast forward a year, I came in and spoke to Jesse again and asked if he could check my brake fluid to see if it needed changing. He kindly did so and was honest with me and told me that my brake fluid was still good and did not need changing and that I could probably push the service a little longer. Keep in mind, this second time I came in I had no other services done. Their honesty and fair prices have definitely converted me into a regular customer. I will be bringing my vehicle here for my maintenance oil changes because their prices are better than the previous place I was going to.

I had a terrible time with the gentleman who owned the shop in front of theirs, who lied and told me I was in the right place, which wasn't corrected until I called Fremont Auto Center looking for an update. Jack personally went next door to check on my car, and offered me 10% off repairs. I was told I could drop my car off the next day without needing another appointment. I met Sal, who has such a wonderful and charming personality, and it was great to meet Jack in person, too. Within an hour, I had the full analysis and estimate, and around 2:30, a couple of hours before closed, I was called and told the car wouldn't be finished, and asked if I'd like to come pick it up for the weekend (which I declined, we didn't need it!). The prices were fair, and their system of telling you what absolutely needs work versus what they recommend to be worked on was so great in helping me understand what was wrong with the car. My experience with them made me tell my husband that I'd drive to them if we ever moved out of the area. I can't recommend this place enough (just make sure you drive all the way to the green building and dont let anyone stop you like I did!)
