Best coffee shop in Rancho hands down. If you are looking for a break from Starbucks and main stream coffee, this is your place! Combine is a great breakfast spot, really any meal of the day as they have quite an extensive menu and are open til 8pm. This is a perfect spot to catch up with friends, a place to study or even have a first date (I had my first day with my now boyfriend here we are coffee snobs). Forget Starbucks, you'll taste the difference here. They have indoor and outdoor seating. A nice ambiance with a modern touch. They offer online ordering also which is convenient. Filthy! My friend wanted to go to the comedy kitchen to get some avocado toast. All of the tables were filthy. It was hard to find somewhere to sit. The floor was covered in trash. And then my food had a Hair in it. It was just gross. read more

Honestly very disappointed with my most recent visit to Combine Kitchen. The service was mediocre at best. The cashier I believe her name was Maryanne, was rude to me and gave me looks up and down. Then, they serviced and made drinks for others that came in after me. This specific barista was being nice to every other customer but me. I waited over 10 minutes and she finally asked what are you waiting for a drink or food? Chai was good, but service was terrible. The worst I've ever had at a coffee shop. read more

Great food! Love the combine breakfast and breakfast burrito. My only suggestion is maybe a bacon and eggs breakfast without garlic. The bread and potatoes have a ton of garlic in them. Also the breakfast burrito should be served with a fork and two containers of green sauce instead of one. A second sauce is 50¢. read more

You walk right in and it doesn't look like much because it's more of a modern, trendy, cafe. Great for those that want to work, study or meet up with friends. They have a very easy to order process. You walk right in and the menu is set up in an enclosed glass case and a simple coffee menu up front. They offer breakfast and lunch items, and with pastries, coffee, lattes and teas. Once you place and pay for your order they give you a number and you sit wherever you'd like, whether indoors or outdoors. I had read in the reviews people complain that you would get your # but still have to go inside to pick up your food (which didn't make sense tbh) but it looks like they read the reviews and made a change because we sat outdoors and they brought out our food to our table The outdoor seating area was great! Of course the birdies wanted to fly around the area almost hitting you in the face but nothing crazy to be annoyed by. There's a beautiful fountain in the outdoor section and flowers to keep you distracted from the busy street in front, which was so nice! The food was very delicious and presentation was nice! I had the French Toast and as big as the dish was, I ate every single piece! So flavorful! I loved my Spanish Latte and the presentation of it too! Again very trendy. It's on the opposite side of the freeway from Victoria Gardens which is nice and don't have to deal with all the traffic to find parking. If you own an electric car, then you'll love that they have rechargeable stations on one end of the parking lot. Plenty of stations by Tesla! We waited 40 minutes without receiving our food and when we went to go ask about an update, they told us they had made a mistake and were making our orders. We waited another 20 minutes and still hadn't received our food. So we finally decided to leave. When we went to the front to let them know they had taken over an hour with our food and we could no longer wait for it. If I could I would give the combine 10 STARS! Everything was perfect here. I loved the flow of the whole space and appreciated how you could order coffee/tea only if that's all you wanted. And if you need food then they have you covered also. I played it super basic and ordered the combine- it was bacon, eggs, toast and potatoes but it was made with love. I am so serious when I write this- anyone can make these breakfast items and this place is not dennys but will give your taste buds a Grand Slam! And the tea- WOW. I've never had this caliber tea; it was legit fabulous. The customer service was very nice and the music they were playing was freakin great. But there's these two girl baristas that are rude and lack social skills. Idk if they are friends with the manager because they both have the same bad vibe. Had breakfast at 10 am Sunday February 27th. Ordered two coffees, French toast and bbq jackfruit sandwich. They were busy and we were happy to wait to order and wait on our food- probably about a half hour. When the food came, the French toast was cold and dry - barely dipped - inside was all white/ dry. We ate half of one piece so we asked if they could remake and we were in no rush / happy to wait etc - they said their policy is the customer has to repay half of the cost of the Dish to remake it. I've never heard or anything like this. The dish was just poorly made - To the owners: you cannot expect customers to absorb the cost of an error on your team's behalf. It's understandable the cooks are busy and might not produce 100% on every dish. But your policy on remaking a dish is absurd. We won't return. read more

I moved out of LA to avoid hipster places like this so I might be biased but I should have done my research before going. Typical pretentious hipster coffee place, they have overpriced pour-overs and cold brew. No artificial sweeteners so I was stuck with stevia (yuck). The food was okay. I got the steak and eggs, and there was nothing really memorable about it. Note to owners: Ya'll spelt Banh Mi wrong.... not sure if you did that intentionally to be extra hipster or what but as a Viet, it turned me off from trying it. Came in for brunch on Sunday April 7th. Had a horrible experience. First it started at the register. A short blonde cashier took my order. l asked a simple question about the vegan bowl that turned into a long winded explanation of the menu and what she likes and doesn't like. Sorry but I didn't ask. I just wanted to know what items were in the bowl. After when I was waiting for my coffee the barista with dark lipstick had a horrible attitude. It wasn't just me either it was to other customers. I asked her for extra cinnamon and she replied with 'did you order extra cinnamon at the register?' I didn't need the comments when my Spanish latte had no cinnamon on top. I also over heard her talking to a customer who asked if a drink was his. She looked at the ticket and asked is your name Mike? No? Than it's not yours. Horrible customer service skills. I wanted to eat my food outside to enjoy the beautiful day but instead was pushed out by the horrible singer (if you can call her that) by the fountain. The 'singer' was horrible. She was screeching the entire time and would take long awkward pauses. Someone get her singing lessons before she preforms again please. The only saving grace before I took my food to go preemptively was the server. She was very sweet. Combine management work with your employees PLEASE. Customer service training is in high order. I just can't anymore. The prices have increased slowly but consistently, but the quality has declined steadily. Iced coffees are 3/4 ice and crazy expensive for a single 16 oz size, food is frequently cold, portions and quality are inconsistent (I swear every time I order a side of potatoes, I end up with the overcooked, leftover bits from the bottom of the pan). The cost now is just outrageous! I easily spend $70 for a breakfast of three entrees and two coffees, and that's while trying to be conservative. I just can't justify visiting Combine anymore, not with these prices and the decline in quality. read more

Absolutely delicious but Imagine my surprise when I went back there today and ordered my usual and I was handed an under seasoned omelette on a dollar store bun! I asked them why they didn't have soufflé eggs and they said they have a new chef.... Well i just paid 12 dollars for an omlette! We live around the corner from here and have come for breakfast frequently for the past 6 years. We would each order an entree and a drink and spend around $40 each time. We've bring friends and family all the time as well. We decided to order drinks ahead as we were on our way to an appointment. We show up at the time the receipt gave us - we told the barista we were picking up an online order and we're told "I'll check on it give us a minute" - sure no problem. 20 minutes later I check with the barista only to find out they don't have the ingredients to make one of our drinks and they haven't even started our other one. After hitting up the Ontario Mall, we were craving some coffee & a snack so we opted for a quick stop here! It's a great place to study here--chill vibes, clean, spacious, & has wifi! My boyfriend & I shared the Yolk & Shrooms toast $9.50 which was delicious! I can see it being quite filling if it was just for me. There's a lot of fontina cheese sauce & pieces of mushroom on top but I'm not complaining! The Spanish latte $5 was great too. It wasn't too sweet. I came here with friends for a two birthday celebrations and there were about thirteen of us including three kiddos. It was such a nice day that we sat outside. The inside is very nice; so much space to sit and chat or sit and work. This was my first visit to combine kitchen and I wasn't sure what I wanted to order. They have coffees, teas, and meals of all kind! They even have vegan meals including the assorted pickles and the vegan rice bowl. I had ordered a mint tea and vegan muffin only to be told they were sold out tea and no vegan muffins that day. I then proceeded to order a turmeric tea when the barista taking my order suggested mellow yellow which is a turmeric latte with ginger and almond milk to keep it plantbased/vegan which would be another great option. I settled for just the turmeric latte as I wasn't really hungry. The turmeric latte (mellow yellow) was very nice and smooth tasting--every sip warmed me up. It also had crackled pepper on top of the drink. According to my acupuncturist warm beverages are good for the body. I would definitely order that again, I found it quite enjoyable. In addition, turmeric and ginger roots have anti-inflammatory properties and aid with boosting ones immune system. The loo is very clean if you should have to use the facilities while you're there. From the crumbs everywhere, the walls are filthy, the floor is sticky, and tue restroom is not attended to. There's enough pee on the floors to fill a minimum of 2 drug test vials. Kyree (sp) was the best part about this place aside from the food & latte I had the breakfast quesadilla stack and the lavender latte and they were both delicious. But my daughter waited 24 min for her chocolate croissant .. even my meal and latte came out before. So minus one star for that, my daughter was hangry and needed to get to school. No idea why a premise pastry took longer than fresh items and the pink haired young lady wasn't pleasant about my inquiring about it. Over all if it weren't for Kyree we prob wouldn't come back. Ambiance: I've been here about 3-4 times and every time was a nice experience. It is always just busy enough, but has never been too noisy. This is important to me since I come here to study. It's not like some places that have music blaring loudly on the speakers. Overall, it's a relaxed atmosphere and it's nice that they bring the food out to you. (Though, you have to pick up the drinks at the counter yourself.) There are a few outlets and I notice a lot of people like to bring their laptops and sit at the large counter to do work. The large counter is a plus, which makes it ideal to do work at, since most places have very shallow counters. Love that there are a lot of windows and options to sit outdoors. Food and drinks: I have usually gotten the chai tea or the matcha latte and both are extremely delicious. Milky and not too sweet, I like their lattes a latte (pun intended). I have also gotten the avocado toast and lox toast (salmon on top). I wouldn't say either is mind-blowing delicious, but both are solid options and good enough to feed my fix. The avocado toast had goat cheese (or was it feta) mixed in, which is very yummy. And, I love that both toasts come topped with watermelon radish--so pretty and delish! That being said, I feel like I could make their versions of their toasts at home, so it's not something you should feel like you have to get. (Side note: I'm not a coffee drinker, so I can't comment on the quality of coffee drinks.) Overall, I love this place as a good place to get work done.
