First Impression: Menu and space looked great so we were excited to have breakfast here on a Sunday. We sat down at the table and it was sticky and gross - given we were the second seating for the day, they obviously hadn't cleaned it from last night. Such a cute place! Me and some other Mom's go here sometimes after dropping our little ones off at school! It is BYOB which is great because we all bring a new champagne and pass it around. Great burgers! Our kids always went here with their friends, they convinced us to all go as a family. The place was crowded (always a good sign), had to wait about 20 minutes for a table of 6. We did not realize that it was BYOB, we would of prepared better. Most of us got cheeseburgers, the were cooked to perfection and were very large. It was delicious. Juicy beef and flavorful combination of toppings. Nothing tasted overwhelming in each bite. I finished my burger before my boyfriend finished half of his which never happened in the whole 9 months we've ate together. If you're visiting point pleasant PLEASE stop by this place! The wait time is kinda long being how popular it is but it's worth it !!! They connected their restaurant with an app that tells you your place in line. Wish it stated the estimated wait time for people running on a schedule but I'm getting greedy ( or am I ) I found my go to burger spot when I decided to head to the beach. I've only ever been to the one in North Jersey and I thought it was good but I believe the Manasquan location is definitely better. Staff was friendly, the food came out quickly and was really delicious. The only thing I did notice was that the water seemed to have an odd taste. This could just be a locational thing as I live in NY and am used to NY water, but other than that I would absolutely recommend. They are famous for their burgers but the mac and cheese makes a good dish to split and is out of this world. I will admit this was a MESSY, MESSY, lunch. Thank god I was with two girlfriends I lived with in college because it was a no judgement zone, but I would never eat this on a date. I've had this place bookmarked for way too long. When you decide to go here, plan for there to be a wait. A friend and I ended up going at the right time and only had to wait 30 minutes. I've heard it's always around an hour wait time. The shop is small. I'm talking less than 20 tables and there's no outdoor seating. And all of the employees were super friendly and personable towards us. Once we were seated, they gave us waters with lemons right away. Now, I don't like lemon in my water, or even if it's just sitting on the rim. Please stop assuming everyone wants a lemon in their water. We took a look at the menu and everything looked delicious. It was hard to decide but we ultimately ended up deciding on burgers.. that's really the reason we came. I should mention that there are two kids menus. We had to ask for the lunch one, because we were handed the breakfast one. The burgers are double patties. I am assuming this is because they want to push out their burgers quicker than cooking one bigger patty. We ordered our burgers medium hoping they wouldn't be over-cooked since they were thin patties. And I HAD to order the sweet potato waffle fries because how often do you see those on the menu?! We waited maybe 10 minutes for 3 plates of food and everything was cooked PERFECTLY. The thin patties were cooked exactly medium and the fries were just the right amount of crunchy. I was seriously impressed that I didn't have to send the burger back. TO THE COMMITED PIG OWNERS: I do have some critique for the burger that I ordered. I ordered the Chipotle Bacon Burger. It comes with muenster cheese, bacon chipotle mayo, and an onion ring. It's not worth $14. Well, to my assumption the bacon part of it is in the chipotle sauce... but I did not taste any bacon. Nor was it even close to spicy like chipotle should be. Please add home made bacon chunks into the dressing, Or add bacon strips on the burger instead of a stupid onion ring. You don't taste the onion ring anyway! My friend ordered the Steer Herder burger and it was cooked perfectly medium as well. But the burger as a whole lacked flavor. Great brunch and burger spot in Manasquan! Also BYOB! The inside has brick walls, wood tables, and different chairs all around. So unique and really adds to the "comfort food" experience. The staff here is always friendly and accommodating. Texting is used when your table is ready, which is great if you want to walk around or wait outside. Food is served in extremely generous portions, in awesome tin containers with newspaper printed paper. Mason jars are used for drinks, and personal thermoses for coffee. So awesome! My brunch recommendations are the pancakes and breakfast quesadilla (wheat tortilla!!). For lunch/dinner, the avocado salad with perfectly grilled shrimp is amazing. The lime vinaigrette is light and refreshing. Of course, the burgers are out of this world. One of my favorites is the Baked Brie - creamy brie, bacon (even I gave in to bite into this), and fig preserve. Perfect sweet and salty combo. The Mr. Beautiful is also a delicious turkey burger with gruyere, avocado, jalapenos, and egg - yum! The frie choices are all great here too - sweet potato, regular, and waffle! There was a large party waiting to be seated and they needed our table. In fact, the HOSTESS not our server brought us the check while we were still eating. There were tables there longer that were not being rushed. If the food were not so good, I would have given them 2 stars because of their "rushing" us. If you're looking for a great burger this is definitely the place to go down the shore! I've never had a burger I didn't like. However, I went there over the weekend and got the cheesesteak...if you could call it that. Barely ANY meat on it and isn't even shaved ribeye for $20. I sent it back and got my usual which the waiter was happy to help with. However, the main reason I'm writing this review unfortunately is due to the bathrooms!! Every time I come here, the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. The sinks are black from not being washed, toilets dirty, toilet paper everywhere, and everything is covered in a thick layer of dust. This isn't even peak dining time that I'm going in... or peak season for that matter. It definitely makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the entire facility. I hope this changes cause I really like this place but every time I go this repulses me !!! Had late breakfast here today. Both the Good Morning & Chipotle burgers were delicious, flavorful, juicy & cooked to perfection! The sweet potato waffle fries were also excellent. However the spinach & artichoke grilled cheese sandwich was a great disappointment. It was cold because it was smothered with a commercially made dip that was cold. If there was any one of the three cheeses on it I couldn't find them! I told the waitress about this & she said it was there but was shredded (see photo). The skinny white potato fries were the best I ever had. They know how to make & serve them hot. The manager deducted half the price of the grilled cheese to compensate for the lack of cheese. YES! This place is all around amazing! We went around 3pm on a sunday, so after lunch but before dinner. The place was very quiet, which was perfect. The decor is very beautiful and tasteful. The service was quick and friendly. The food was out of this world! My husband got the burger nut and I got the illy dilly burger. Both were perfectly cooked! The burgers are served with two patties not just one. The side portion was huge! Loved everything! The prices are about average for the area, so a little above average compared to most areas. What can i say - the burgers here are the absolute bomb! While i don't believe in calling anything "the best" because there are so many different types of burgers, or pizza, etc, this is the type of burger I like best and their version is just great. If you like Shake Shack, then this is somewhat similar in taste and style. Without the long lines and with better fries. It's not that fat, rare, juicy pub-type burger some prefer, so if you are looking for that, this may not be your thing. But the twin La Freida thin patties, smothered with cheese and other toppings make this a very tasty, waist expanding meal. A choice of fries between waffle, traditional or sweet potato makes this all the better depending on mood (or side salad if you want to prove something to someone). The regular cheeseburger is just perfect. My wife had a turkey burger with avocado and a fried egg which was just as delicious. They also offer a burger on a donut, but that is just beyond my own capacity to consider. The only thing i would suggest is that they offer a smaller single patty version as an option. Haven't been here for breakfast yet, but my daughter loves that as well. Right now, these burgers are my favorite guilty pleasure. read more

Easy to get a table (it was 8:15am) the selections were endless for how you wanted your pork handled. Did I want the mouth-watering Caramel Apple (muenster, fresh green apple, caramel)? Or the delectable Tempura Avocado (cream cheese and...tempura avocado)? No, it was mentally (and emotionally) too much to handle, so I stuck with my standard order...THC. And waffle fries, because....it was a Saturday. Hands down the BEST pork roll I've had in my 28 years on this earth. Each bite of the queso, ham, and brioche roll was pure bliss! The golden crispy waffle fries, I should also mention, were nothing short of perfection. Great environment and staff.
