For what you get for your money, I think the prices for the food are as about as good as you're going to get. I've been ordering "Mimi's Fiesta Bowl", my last couple of times and at under 600 calories and only $16.00, I'll definitely make that my go to order even if I'm not watching my diet. I like that they have two open bar areas to choose from. I've had their wings and the Prime Rib sandwich is also a favorite of mine. I honestly can't really find anything not to like about the place after visiting with friends at least a few times over the last year. Less than 10 minutes away, cheap and comfortable. A lot of places have shut down over the years and I really miss a couple of them. Miller's is a really great option for me. read more

Went to Millers Ale House for the first time. Food was excellent and plentiful. My friend and I both had the Cobb Salad, fresh and enough for 2 people. My other friend had the prime rib, 12oz. Looked delicious and it was done to her taste and perfection. Normally we don't have desserts, but we decided to splurge. Good choices on our end. Eh. Prob won't order again. Online provided a code for free delivery so we gathered 6 orders and called but were told no delivery. So we picked up. I had a zinger salad and it was average. Don't care for the zingers and the salad was basic. Someone ordered a pasta salad and again nothing great. Report on burger was Applebees Burger better. Chicken sandy was ok. Average. General consensus is prob won't order again. Sorry Millers! Will maybe try eating there to see if that makes a difference read more

The Moscow mule was quite good especially for the price. I did find that the fajitas were a bit bland but that was almost to be expected given the menu so I can't be too disappointed. One shout out to our waitress was that my husband has food allergies and she was very thorough with what he could and could not have and communicated well. read more

The service was super, Alannah was ON. Shrimp/chicken bowl was excellent as well as the half rack and fried shrimp. My margarita was 3.99. Not bad for a House Tequila. Non-alcoholic drinks are somewhat high $4. We ate on the patio section ( indoor). There are also tables for outdoor dining. The main area reminds me of Brick House Tavern in Tinton Falls. it seems like nothing much has really changed at Miller's. The table service was awful. We could barely find a server, even standing up Service is worse than Bar Service. The bartender still could not get the burgers correct sitting at the bar. and seemed annoyed at us we were given the wrong things. We did not order the wrong things. Needless to say unfortunately your tip reflects your service. I have to write a review to speak up for this place, how the hell is this place rated 3 stars? The food is fire, the prices are good, mad beers, all the games, friendly servers what else could you want from sports bar. All the haters mad about take out orders, bring your ass to the restaurant, basing your orders on what happened bc you were too lazy to get off your couch is not fair. Being upset that they didn't execute something on the menu that not a burger or wings or beer is missing the whole point of a sports bar. If you want fine dining go to a restaurant that makes that food. Sports bars are generalists that specialize in burgers, wings and beer. If you are expecting them to make perfect Pad Thai too that's dumb, and your fault. This places rules haters need to stop hating. period! read more

The sports bar vibe is fun and definitely entertaining. The service i've received both times i've been here has been amazing. The waiters were carrying on conversations with me and being so friendly. My boyfriend got the Snow Crab which at first i was hesitant about, but ended up being so good ( i couldn't resist eating some) and affordable! I got a caesar salad which was very delicious as well! I have been going to MIller's since it opened, I have always had a good experience. The food was what you could expect, and the service and staff were always pleasant. Tonight, I went there, I was appalled. Not only was our server horrendous, but we received alcoholic drinks with no alcohol in them. When we kindly brought the issue to the server's attention (Danielle), she brought over the manager (Shane). Shane proceeded to take what we said personally and argue with us. We politely explained that the drink was not made to our pleasure and asked if it could be remade. It was then remade and palatable. When the check came, we were charged twice for the drink. We then brought this to the manager's attention, to which he explained that the drink had to be remade, so it was charged again for extra alcohol. I will never return to Miller's, I am flabbergasted at the service and the manager's attitude and inability to mitigate minor issues. My advice: take your money somewhere else where you will be treated properly. read more

The server was great the food took an extremely long time to receive We ordered the calamari appetizer it was ok, the meatloaf sandwich, onion rings they were the best item, and zingers which I expected to be much better since it is the signature item, they were tossed in a sauce (honey bbq) which made all the breading fall off). Tried the cheesecake for dessert I didn't care for the taste of it. The decor is nice and I may come back to enjoy the bar one day after work. Not sure if I could recommend the place. read more

Started off good, but middle and end were not good. My wife and I ordered prime rib, she had the 12oz with mashed potatoes and I had 16oz with onion rings. She also asked for aju sauce, but he said that does not come with the prime rib, only with the french dip. When the dinner came they brought french dip. Then the server, not the waiter, told us that they don't make prime rib on Saturdays. To make matters worse, the food was cold. So this went to the cooks, and they decided to change our order. My mom and I went to Miller's for an early dinner following Sunday church service. Mom ordered the Pork Osso Buco with mashed potatoes. She thoroughly enjoyed her selection which was beautifully presented and equally delectable, Mom's a fantastic, seasoned cook herself, so her recommendations carry a lot of weight with our family and friends. She's recommended Miller's as a dining option to out-of-town visitors, suggested Miller's gift cards as holiday presents and purchased the gift cards herself for various occasions. My order of barbeque baby back ribs was also delicious, and the service staff was, as always, warm and friendly. We've been back on multiple occasions and will continue to return and enjoy what Miller's has to offer. read more

So once again I give Millers another chance on a take out order. A big red chicken sandwich 86 the hot sauce, Korean bbq sauce on the side. Plain cheeseburger with just American cheese and nothing else, sautéed onions on the side and mayo on the side. NOPE! Cheeseburger with nasty ass old lettuce and tomatoes and pickles old AF. No sautéed onions on the side and no mayo on the side. To make it even more annoying I placed the order in person and asked repeatedly if everything was right in the bag when I I was leaving, even had a conversation with the manager on duty about how everytime I order from there the order is always wrong when I get home and open the bag!! When my food was ready for me to leave I asked again 6 times to the 6 year old boy they have taking to go orders if everything was correct in the bag, his response I assure you it's all correct. NOPE AGAIN!! So now i get home at 10:20pm to a completely wrong order in the tune of 43.00$ and can't even eat my fu*%ing dinner cause it's wrong. This happens everytime I order from there EVERYTIME. I don't know if it's the kitchen who can't read or the person packing up the to go bag or the 6 year old taking the order but this is utter insanity. Now comes the phone call to speak to the manager and please tell me how they can't give me a refund because I didn't order it online and I ordered in the actual restaurant in what fu*%ing world does that make any sense. I'll tell you no world they just don't want to give you your money back. Instead they want to shove gift cards at you just to order again and get another wrong order. So now I have no dinner tonight cause of the incompetence of the staff at Miller Ale House in ocean Nj.
