I have been wanting a Turkey burger for a few weeks so I finally decided to feed my craving! I typically go to LOL burger, but read a review that raved about the turkey burger at this spot! I was sold! I arrived around 3:30pm. They have a dedicated parking a lot that had plenty of open spots when I arrived. When I walked in I read the sign that said seat yourself, so I did just that . The wait staff immediately came over with a menu. She asked if I needed another drink besides water. I am not a fan of ice cold water so I did request water with no ice. I checked out the menu period to arriving so I already knew my order ! I opted for the turkey burger with Parmesan garlic fries. The sound of this had my mouth watering in anticipation as I waited for my food to arrive . It appears the food was cooked fresh because it took a good 15 minutes for my food to arrived. There were only two other patrons in the restaurant so they were not busy . When my food arrived - I got so excited to take that first bite . I started with the fries! I enjoyed them but I did not taste the garlic . Additionally I am accustomed toParmesan cheese being grated thin- the cheese on the fries did not look like Parmesan, but they were tasty! Would I order them again? - no- they just did not taste like Parmesan garlic fries so no need to pay extra for it next time . Now for the star of the show--- this turkey burger was amazing!! Here is the deal, the actual Pattie is nothing special - it's what is included with the Pattie that makes this good. The kale slaw , and the sauce - oh my gosh!! May make this our new neighborhood spot. Food es very good and quick. The patio is delightful and dog friendly. Inside is adorable too. We got two burgers, one was apparently voted best burger in Atlanta a few year back. While everything's as tasty, I would not that the burgers were very greedy so if you struggle with that (it's me hi) then you may want to opt for something else's. I was feeling that Greece in my millennial tummy a few hours later. This also causes the bottom bun to be quite mushy and gross by the time it reached our table. I know not everyone cares about that but I do. Also good to note the fries come with old bay on them. I can't remember specifically but I do not think that was noted on the menus. If it wasn't didn't see it. I can't stand old bay so I swapped those with my husband's tots and they were very good. If you like old bay like he does than you'll like the fires. Staff was friendly and knowable and didn't push us to order quickly. WOW - we tried this restaurant in west Atlanta and it was AMAZING. It is located near the corner of Bolton Road and Marietta Road. They have a great outdoor seating area and a bar that opens to that outdoor seating area. Our server, Caleb, was super kind and welcoming to us. I told him it was our first time and he quickly replied "it won't be your last." He was ABSOLUTELY correct. I asked Caleb what his favorite appetizer was on their menu. He recommended the Vietnamese Wings. We ordered these wings and they were a BIG Hit. The sauce is so amazing that my better half and I spooned it onto the tater tots that came with our meal. We ordered these wings and the Crunchwrap du jour. On the day of our great dining experience, the Crunchwrap was grilled fajita meat and onions in a pressed wrap. We ordered it with tater tots. I also ordered a side of crispy Brussel Sprouts. These Brussel sprouts were so yummy. Impeccable service and unbelievably creative dishes served in a cool atmosphere. Decided to stay in town an extra day to check this place out. I checked the hours and they re open 11:30 AM on Sunday. I tried to place a doordash order. They re closed on door dash. I called the restaurant to inform them, at 11:49 am. The young lady I spoke to on the phone said she didn't know how to do it herself. It's now 12:25 pm. 35 minutes later and they re still not open online. As a small business owner, that girl would be fired. Every moment that passes is another moment someone could be about to spend money on doordash to eat at your establishment. I came here with a pretty big group of 14 and was surprised there wasn't a lot of traffic on a Sunday night. I appreciate the fact that they have a parking lot with free parking which is a hard ask for places in Atlanta! Even though it was a seat yourself, someone from my group gave them a heads up and they were able to accommodate our group. We started off with three appetizers which were the pimento cheese dip, buffalo wings and the eggplant fries. Out of the three, I really liked the eggplant fries which came with a red chili oil which was delicious. The fries weren't too greasy and tasted pretty well considering eggplants can be soggy. The buffalo wings were also pretty good and weren't overly coated in sauce so they remained crispy. The pimento cheese dip was good too. For my main meal, I went with the toasted chicken salad sandwich which came on Texas toast and with cheese. The chicken salad itself was pretty good but wish it had grapes or cranberries to add a bit of sweetness. I also upgraded my fries to garlic Parmesan ones which were good! My gf's and I were looking for a pet friendly restaurant near Smyrna so Sheba could come with. We tried one restaurant in the West Village off 285. They did not have a pet friendly patio. So we ventured a little further down Atlanta Rd. towards the city and yelp popped up with The Companion. We were all pleasantly surprised to find a place none of us had been to with a pretty yummy looking menu. We sat outside on their grassy patio. It was a tad bit sunny but the building eventually hid us from the suns rays. Our waitress was very nice and gave us some nice recommendations on the menu. It was pretty messy but tasted great. I can't speak too much on the tacos but my friend said he liked them. Our server was courteous. There's a good bit of parking available but I could see it filling up on a really busy Friday or Saturday evening. It was packed when we went in at around 7:45 on Tuesday. When I sat down I was greeted with fast friendly service from the bartender. She gave me some suggestions when I asked for food ideas while I enjoyed my nice cold beer.
