    Please clean this area!

I have been wanting a Turkey burger for a few weeks so I finally decided to feed my craving! I typically go to LOL burger, but read a review that raved about the turkey burger at this spot! I was sold! I arrived around 3:30pm. They have a dedicated parking a lot that had plenty of open spots when I arrived. When I walked in I read the sign that said seat yourself, so I did just that . The wait staff immediately came over with a menu. She asked if I needed another drink besides water. I am not a fan of ice cold water so I did request water with no ice. I checked out the menu period to arriving so I already knew my order ! I opted for the turkey burger with Parmesan garlic fries. The sound of this had my mouth watering in anticipation as I waited for my food to arrive . It appears the food was cooked fresh because it took a good 15 minutes for my food to arrived. There were only two other patrons in the restaurant so they were not busy . When my food arrived - I got so excited to take that first bite . I started with the fries! I enjoyed them but I did not taste the garlic . Additionally I am accustomed toParmesan cheese being grated thin- the cheese on the fries did not look like Parmesan, but they were tasty! Would I order them again? - no- they just did not taste like Parmesan garlic fries so no need to pay extra for it next time . Now for the star of the show--- this turkey burger was amazing!! Here is the deal, the actual Pattie is nothing special - it's what is included with the Pattie that makes this good. The kale slaw , and the sauce - oh my gosh!! You get every macro you need , protein , carbs and fiber!!! Then to make it even better it has a spicy kick to it ! When I tell you I cleaned my plate ! There was not one crumb on my plate when I finished! My only complaint -- please clean the router and the items next to it ! I sat in the booth directly by the router and the amount of dust on that thing was disturbing ! I wanted to clean it myself! I am sure this does not need to be stated - but I will be back and I would recommended you check this spot out !

    Brisket grilled cheese

The Companion Restaurant checks all the boxes -- great food, great drinks, and a vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer. First off: the brisket grilled cheese. If you go and don't order it, you're doing it wrong. It's rich, flavorful, perfectly melty, and honestly worth the visit all on its own. The outdoor patio is another win -- spacious enough to spread out, but still cozy and inviting. It's the kind of spot that makes you want to grab another round just to stay a little longer. Speaking of rounds, the pours here are generous (yes, finally!) and everything on the menu feels thoughtfully priced. No sticker shock -- just solid value across the board. All in all, The Companion is the kind of place you can count on: whether you're stopping by for a casual lunch or kicking back for happy hour. I'll definitely be back.

A cool spot with tasty food, a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Had lunch here with a friend and had the best service from the bartender - he was super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We had the eggplant fries which were very good - they have a small kick to them - and the smoked chicken nachos that were insanely good. Will definitely be going back to try some more!

Ok I'll give this place a break bc they only had one waiter serving the entire restaurant. Not good... But we finally got our order and we were not disappointed! The smoked chicken nachos, Vietnamese wings, and the crispy fish sandwich! These chosen items were all very very good! Nachos were excellent flavor and texture! Wings were like nothing I have ever had! The fish sandwich was the best I think I ever had!

May make this our new neighborhood spot. Food es very good and quick. The patio is delightful and dog friendly. Inside is adorable too. We got two burgers, one was apparently voted best burger in Atlanta a few year back. While everything's as tasty, I would not that the burgers were very greedy so if you struggle with that (it's me hi) then you may want to opt for something else's. I was feeling that Greece in my millennial tummy a few hours later. This also causes the bottom bun to be quite mushy and gross by the time it reached our table. I know not everyone cares about that but I do. Also good to note the fries come with old bay on them. I can't remember specifically but I do not think that was noted on the menus. If it wasn't didn't see it. I can't stand old bay so I swapped those with my husband's tots and they were very good. If you like old bay like he does than you'll like the fires. Staff was friendly and knowable and didn't push us to order quickly. We're actually planning to go back with friends this weekend and I just plan to try something other than a burger and to take a stomach pill in advance lol

My favorite place for a turkey burger! They have this kale slaw on it that makes it absolutely perfect. Outdoor seating is great and pet friendly too. The service is fantastic and plenty of parking. This is such a great casual place!

WOW - we tried this restaurant in west Atlanta and it was AMAZING. It is located near the corner of Bolton Road and Marietta Road. They have a great outdoor seating area and a bar that opens to that outdoor seating area. Our server, Caleb, was super kind and welcoming to us. I told him it was our first time and he quickly replied "it won't be your last." He was ABSOLUTELY correct. I asked Caleb what his favorite appetizer was on their menu. He recommended the Vietnamese Wings. We ordered these wings and they were a BIG Hit. The sauce is so amazing that my better half and I spooned it onto the tater tots that came with our meal. We ordered these wings and the Crunchwrap du jour. On the day of our great dining experience, the Crunchwrap was grilled fajita meat and onions in a pressed wrap. We ordered it with tater tots. I also ordered a side of crispy Brussel Sprouts. These Brussel sprouts were so yummy. Impeccable service and unbelievably creative dishes served in a cool atmosphere. This restaurant is a must try local experience in west Midtown Atlanta. I know we will be back to try more scrumptious dishes!

10/10 spot hidden off Bolton road. Great atmosphere inside at the bar and even better outdoor (dog friendly) patio! Staff is friendly and food is INSANE. Creative options with quality & a perfectly crafted beverage list to pair. They serve a Crunchwrap of the day which you definitely can't skip, and the wings (any flavor) are chef's kiss

The Vietnamese wings are 10/10!!! I ordered them and immediately placed another order to take home. I would give The Companion 5 stars alone with the wings but I have to take a point off for the flies. Throughout my dining experience I was constantly swatting flies. If anyone sees this from the restaurant please consider Zevo plug in lights or something to combat the flies. It was truly uncomfortable

Bold Monk is *the* place to visit in Atlanta if you're a fan of Belgian beers. I don't think anyone else in the area does Belgians as well as they do. On top of that, the food menu is top notch. I'd say it's probably the best gastropub in the metro area as well. Everything I've had at Bold Monk has been delicious, but definitely have the mussels at least once. In addition to the beers and food, Bold Monk just has a really nice space. There is a spacious upstairs that has a bookstore and serves as an event space and there's a nice outdoor space in a small, wooded area for enjoying a beer outdoors when the weather is nice.

Unfortunately, it tasted like it was full of apple cider vinegar--absolutely gross. What made the experience even worse was the service. There were six people at our table, and I didn't receive my drink until long after the other five people had already received theirs--and their food was already being served. I waited approximately 45 minutes just to get a drink. The waitress was extremely absent, and the food was nothing to write home about. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this place.

We arrived around 1 pm on a Saturday and had issue finding parking in their main lot. There is an overflow lot behind the building and there is signage to direct there if needed. When we arrived, we smelled something delicious coming from the on-site food truck, heard some great live music coming from inside and there were a ton of folks inside and outside just having a good ol time. Once we walked inside, there was plenty of beer on tap but I appreciated that there were frozen drinks available and with their partnership with Urban Tree, I was excited to see some of my old favorite ciders. The guy that helped me was super sweet and helpful. He made some great suggestions and I had a vodka blueberry lemonade, came back later for a water-marita which was my favorite. We order some loaded fries from their onsite food truck and the fries were amazinggggg! Huge portion, hot, and just the right amount of food. They have plenty of other stuff on the menu but the fries were good enough for the both of us. I totally forgot what drink my husband got but I do remember he enjoyed them. We had a great time just people watching, listening to music and chatting with folks. This is a good place to just come and hang for awhile for sure and we'll be back sooooooon.

As the waitress leads you deeper into the space, you see pool tables and chairs. Then the space really opens up to a huge area with TV's and dining tables in one corner. The middle ish area has these lounge chairs and coffee table for a more intimate interaction. And the space against the wall had darts or some sort of game (I can't remember). Our group ordered some beer and things to snack on: * Cheese curds basket: The Ellsworth cheese curds were salty and pretty oily. I suppose these puppies were fried because they definitely go well with a beer. Overall pretty good but I think the least favored out of the group. * Truffle mac & cheese: The truffle flavor (oil) was there, but it wasn't overwhelming. The cheese itself was cheesy and gooey. Apparently it's their own blend. And with it being baked with panko bread crumbs, this aspect provided a nice crunch that truly was divine. I definitely enjoyed each bite. I'd say the mac & cheese here is a contender for a top spot in my book. * Smoked brisket poutine: The fries (shoe string) were aplenty. The best thing about this pick was how it soaked up the gravy and juices from the 18 hour smoked brisket. The cheese curds were all melted atop everything and was ever so yummy. Okay. I now see the cheese theme going on. But we were heading to a soccer event so I guess loading up on the carbs wasn't a terrible idea. The prices were so so for this part of town. The food overall was pretty good. They were oily and greasy as heck but good none the less. I'm still confused as to why they charged us $0.50 each for the sauce when it's advertised as part of the menu. The hubs definitely didn't like the automatic 20% gratuity. But the gal who tended our table was super friendly and sweet so that wasn't too bad.
