Casino and hotel attached to Aria, Vdara and Bellagio, on the south edge of the block. Part of MGM/Marriott. They also have a "Cosmo" scent as you walk in. All the standard casino games, a bit more hopping than the Bellagio floor was, and they have food and the Chandelier bar/nightclub area along with other restaurants and spots to see. Chelsea Handler show, Marquee nightclub, and more attractions within. Wicked Spoon is their buffet (popular brunch, served not in big trays but smaller dishes brought to you). Second floor walk there from Bellagio was loooong, though. You don't realize how big these spaces are until you see it. Could use a shuttle like Aria. Security actually directed me down not quite the fastest path to the bar, but eventually made the loop correctly. Several folks stayed here since the rooms were cheaper than the Bellagio. Also part of the MGM reward system.
Absolutely LOVED our stay at the Cosmo this summer. Can't say it's my absolute favorite, but it's definitely tied with my favorite, which is the Wynn. We stayed here the end of July for 4 nights. The vibe of this hotel are just so Las Vegas. You really have everything you need in the building or within walking distance. If you are doing a weekend trip to Vegas and don't have a car, this is probably the spot for you. You can walk to many places on the strip from this hotel. As for the hotel itself...the casino is great. It's very spread out in my opinion. I didn't too much gambling, but I did do a lot of eating! And this place does not lack on the food variety. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and late night dinner...they have it all. The room...Most of the rooms have a terrace balcony. Which is rare in Las Vegas. We had a fountain view of the Bellagio, but I imagine the views from the other side are just a good. The rooms are clean and very spacious. And the bed! Wow that was comfortable. We did order room service one night and not only was the service fast, but the food was amazing! And the portion size was very generous. I absolutely loved this place and we have already booked our stay again for next Summer!
I am so disappointed. I booked those hotel via the FHR perk with the Amex platinum. I also booked this hotel based on their advertisement on the pet friendliness. After this stay, never again. First, they got rid of the pet relief area on the 14th floor of the Chelsea Tower (due to smell complaints). It's just a pile of fenced in rocks now. So the only dog relief area is on the backside of the hotel and in order to access it you have to go to the parking entrance and walk across. The fake grass is really dirty and definitely not maintained. We took our dog to the vdara dog park and it was way better. You can walk to Vdara from Cosmo via an enclosed walkway. Second, when we checked in we asked for a pet bed. The said they "no longer offer those." So for being advertised at pet friendly, it was disappointing to see another amenity being removed. It was the whole reason for picking this hotel. Third, parking. Oh em gee. We tried using the parking barcode on the app. It never worked. We tried using the room key. It never worked. We went to the front desk to complain and they issued new key cards. They told us the parking barcode on the app never worked ... so uhm why do you have it? So after they issued new key cards, it still didn't work. So they told us to just push the call attendant button and they will manually raise the parking arm for us. WTH. Everytime I leave and enter any MGM property, including Cosmo, I have to speak to an attendant? If it's broken, shouldn't you try to fix the issue? We actually spend an extra $20 of parking at Mandalay Bay because nothing worked to exit the lot and we didn't know about speaking to an attendant initially. After going to the front desk for a third time with the issue, they agreed to waive the parking fee (but we still lost $20 at Mandalay Bay). Third attempted also fixed the key issue. Fourth, the room we were in has a shower with no cold water. So the water was scalding. We complained and switched rooms. The new room has a broken light bulb but the shower temperature was ok now. So I guess I'll live with a broken light bulb in the room .......... Cosmo has a good location but this is def not 4/5 star hotel and does not deserve to be an FHR hotel. It's more 3 star hotel with how dingy and run down the place is and the mess with logistics. It did not feel premium at all. Luckily the room we booked wasn't horribly expensive. We paid $450 for 2 nights and the $300 Amex hotel credit made it a bit more acceptable. However I did not expect to be complaining about issues all the time on vacation.
We stayed across the street, but WOW this place is where it's at. It's absolutely gorgeous! I may be bias because this is the only casino I won money at lol We also watched the UFC fights at the sports book and it was such a vibe. This is definitely a more welcoming and cool environment amongst the hotel casino areas. It's very easy access. Just like Planet Hollywood having shops, the shops here are a little more high end.
The view from a terrace fountain view room was amazing. The downside is you can't hear the music for the Bellagio fountains. The jets in the bathtub didn't work, which was disappointing. Check in can be crazy, but they offer automated check in where you can scan a QR code and set up your room keys yourself. There was a problem with the card dispenser because the loaded cards were wrong so we couldn't grab any cards. This hotel is really popular and busy. Because of the dayclub and nightclub, you're going to encounter really wasted people. Since this is an mgm resort you can get free self parking if you have pearl status, which comes automatically when you have the no annual fee mgm credit card. Just insert your players card when you enter and exit the garage. The room was nice, but not sure if I'd stay here again.
Love the bar here and just the vibe of the cosmo is killer. I ordered an amazing gin dirty martini and their very own cosmo cosmopolitan!! So good!! Took me back 10 years.
Stayed at the Cosmo for the first time and really enjoyed our stay. Room was a Fountain view (balcony) with two queen beds. It also had a comfy couch with a coffee table and an empty shelf in the no-no fridge. The bathroom had two sinks, shower, and full tub. Wonderful view! Casino games were plentiful with a great variety of slots. On top of that are the great indoor walkways to other MGM casinos - great location. The restaurant choices on floors two and three are fantastic - special shout-out to the GM and staff of Scarpetta - exceptional and a must try if you haven't been. There is a coffee stop on the slot floor just past the registration area with a tasty dirty chai latte. Will stay here again (after I try the other MGM properties left on my list).
This was our second stay at The Cosmopolitan, and it couldn't have been more different from our first one. After our previous stay, where we had a few service issues, the hotel invited us back with a complimentary stay. We decided to celebrate our first anniversary there, and they really did everything they could to make this visit special. We stayed in the Chelsea Tower on the 59th floor and had access to the VIP Lounge and VIP check-in. There was a welcome letter waiting for us in the room, and later they surprised us with a chocolate dessert for our anniversary. Those thoughtful touches really meant a lot. The only small suggestion I have is to make the VIP check-in process a little clearer. We tried checking in online before we arrived, but it didn't work. When we got to the hotel, we weren't sure where to go and almost ended up checking in through the regular line before someone pointed us to the VIP Lounge. A little more signage or a note in the confirmation email would make the arrival much smoother for guests What impressed me the most was that the hotel truly listened to our feedback and made a real effort to give us a much better experience than the first time. You don't see that very often, and I really appreciate businesses that care enough to make things right. We had an amazing two-day stay and left with a completely different impression of The Cosmopolitan. We'll definitely be back.
The hubs and I have stayed at The Cosmopolitan a couple of times of over the years. It is exactly the same except different. The Cosmopolitan stands out as one of the most stylish resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. The property combines modern luxury, exceptional dining, lively nightlife, and spectacular views into one cohesive experience. They have renovated the lobby since we last visited. The Cosmopolitan's design highlights its upscale nature. The famous Chandelier Bar serves as the centerpiece of the property, creating a glamorous atmosphere that captures the spirit of the resort. The last time we stayed at The Cosmopolitan our room was upgraded to a suite, which included a full kitchen and living room. In addition, the room had a wrap-around balcony overlooking the Bellagio fountains. Sweetness! The Cosmopolitan is also a key destination for food connoisseurs. The resort features a collection of restaurants and dining venues, offering everything from casual favorites to world-class culinary experiences such as STK steakhouse. One potential downside is that the resort's vibrant atmosphere can feel busy and a bit loud, particularly on weekends.
This was my second time staying at Cosmopolitan. I used Marriott points my first night and MGM status for a discount on my second night. I checked in at 10 AM, in the Marriott platinum lounge. I was told my room would be ready at 3 PM. Or before I did not get my room until almost 4 PM. And when I got there, yes, it was a one bedroom suite, but it was above the club. So much bass that the walls were shaking. They said they were sold out and couldn't change my room. They offered me $180 in food a beverage credit and two drinks at the chandelier bar, and suggested I come back the next morning and try to change it. That was my birthday, but I went and tried. Still no change but Yusuf gave me another $100 voucher. The room was spacious with a great shower and huge tub in the bathroom. King bed, sofa area and a decent sized balcony. It was supposed to be a strip view, but it faced the top of the Aria shopping center. If I stayed here again, I'd only do a room above the 40th floor and front facing strip view.
I always have a great time at The Cosmopolitan! Self-parking is super easy in the underground garage, and if you're Pearl or higher with your MGM card, you park for free -- that's a big win in my book lol. The giant chandeliers when you first walk in are stunning and really set the mood. I love that it's connected to Aria and Bellagio so you can bounce between them without going outside. The restaurants are all on the second floor with a really great variety of options to choose from. It definitely draws a younger crowd, which makes the energy feel fun and lively. I'm looking forward to trying the Wicked Spoon buffet on my next trip. Definitely one of my favorite spots on the Strip. Already planning to come back soon!
Always my go to hotel. The best hotel on the strip. When I check in the VIP room they know who I am. At the mlife desk they know w go I am and in the high limit they know me. I love staying in the blvd tower and I'm accommodated all the time. Although MGM has taken over I receive the same customer service Love it. Food court is great, the ambiance at the Chandelier bar and my favorite is the juice standard.
We stayed in the Wraparound Terrace Suite on the 67th floor of the Boulevard Tower and loved our experience! The Suite & Amenities - Separate dining/seating areas and an extra bathroom - Stunning Vegas skyline views from the massive wraparound terrace - Two pools - one with incredible views of Paris balloon and Eiffel Tower - Excellent fitness center equipped with bottled water and massage guns - Marquee dayclub and nightclub hosting popular DJs Dining - Booked through Amex so received a $100 dining credit valid at any MGM property, plus a $30/person daily breakfast credit at select spots - Food hall includes Eggslut, Milk Bar, Momofuku and Secret Pizza - Sit-down restaurants include STK, Jaleo, Beauty & Essex and Wicked Spoon buffet My only complaint was that our key cards stopped working after we went to brunch even though we had a guaranteed 4PM late check-out. Since we were in the Boulevard Tower, it was pretty annoying to walk all the way back to the Chelsea Tower area just to get new keys. Overall, perfect location on the Strip since it is right next to the Bellagio fountains, highly recommend!

Very glad I'm only staying one night here. I'm extremely disappointed with this hotel. We booked the City Room, but the photos online are very misleading and do not accurately reflect the condition of the property. The hallways are run-down, and the carpets throughout the hallways and rooms are in desperate need of cleaning. We had to switch rooms twice, and both rooms were poorly maintained. Overall, the room felt more like an old budget room than the room advertised online. The lack of cleanliness in the carpets and doors was unacceptable. I would not stay here again. read more

This was just my second stay at the Cosmopolitan. When it first opened, I believe it was an independent hotel, very different for Las Vegas because it has such a small land imprint (square footage-wise) compared to the other Strip resorts. It's definitely more of a vertical resort, with 2 tall towers, the Chelsea and Boulevard Towers, and 2 pools squeezed in on the casino rooftop. It's now part of the huge MGM Resorts empire and also has some affiliation with the Marriott Bonvoy empire. It has an excellent location between the Bellagio and the Aria complex, both MGM properties. There are now indoor walkways towards the rear of the properties that connect the Cosmopolitan with the Bellagio and Vdara. The majority of rooms are large studios or bedroom suites with a large sitting area and a balcony, very rare in Vegas. This is because the complex was originally designed to be luxury condominiums, but the 2008 financial crisis led it to be transformed into a hotel. From the get-go the Cosmopolitan had a hip, urban air, bustling and not particularly family oriented. What I found impressive in the past and now is the large amount of modern art throughout. There were (and still are, somewhat) starry restaurants. There's a day and night club, large conference center, "secret" bars, and of course a bustling casino. While the public areas have been decently maintained and refreshed (the Wicked Spoon Buffet was being refreshed during my visit), the rooms (at least my room) have seen better days. The check-in area is small, cramped and dark, as is the rideshare/taxi area outside. There are some pillars in the lobby with video installations to look at while you wait. And you will have a wait. I arrived early, so my room wasn't ready. However I was texted about an hour later my room was ready. Instead of waiting in line again, there are kiosks where you can make your own keys by scanning the QR code sent to you. I booked a Terrace One Bedroom Fountain View Suite. It seems the Terrace Studios are similar in size, but with a different floor plan. The One Bedroom opened to a large but dark sitting area, wet bar that had a minibar fridge PLUS an empty fridge (probably was meant to be a kitchenette), a walk-through closet/dressing area, then the bedroom with access to the balcony. The bath was adjacent with a wet room--shower and deep tub with a window and opening to the bedroom. The amount of natural light was minimal except in the bedroom. My suite was in the Chelsea tower further from the Strip, so the Bellagio Fountain views are lesser than those from the Boulevard Tower. Plus I was on a lower floor (16). Here were the niggles with the room: some lights didn't work. The pulls for the drapes were missing/torn off. Some of the bathroom pump dispensers were empty. The ashtray on the balcony was full of cigarette butts (smoking is only allowed on the balconies). If you use the balcony, you will smell cigarette/cigar/weed smoke, or bacon. Lastly, it is difficult to check your billing folio at check-out unless you stand in line. This was not the case at the Bellagio, another MGM property. I had a dining credit with my booking, but chose to use it at a Bellagio restaurant. The Cosmopolitan has some fine restaurants (I especially liked Jaleo, China Poblano and Momofuku in the past), but some do not participate in the dining credit offer. Finding myself on a rare vacation trip to Vegas with family, this was our first time staying at the Cosmopolitan. The 55th floor on the Chelsea tower offers a decent view of the paradise landscape. While the casino floor is reasonably sized, I feel like it the main focus for its aesthetic is the 2nd level as you end up walking through the restaurant row and its connection into Aria and Bellagio too. The gym is relatively well kept, modern and clean for the guests. Situated on the 14th floor, the gym and pool, latter opening later in the day, gets the job done. I would advise that if you were to go get some reps in, you should come early as there aren't enough cable machines for folks looking for a productive time. It's nice that they have massage guns for guests to use and complimentary water bottles/water fountain too. Parking underneath the hotel is okay, I think some better signage would be nice to know which ways people can get to other levels, but finding spots didn't seem to be an issue and it's free if you're a MGM rewards pearl member or above. read more

A bunch of my friends kept insisting when I visit Vegas I had to go to this hotel bar and get an Espresso Martini, well I did just that. It was the morning of my Birthday and what better way to start the day.....skip the coffee Espresso Martini please...lol The bartender was so friendly and I told him that I was visiting from Florida and came her just for this cocktail...no pressure! I now understand why it was so highly recommended. The balance of the espresso, the liqueur and the splash of baileys was perfect!! I will never visit Vegas and not come here for the exact same thing. Great ambiance and bar was stocked with everything! read more
Wraparound Suite at The Cosmo is one of the coolest rooms in Vegas. The terrace is HUGE and gives you insane views of the Strip. Perfect for sunset photos and late-night vibes. The room layout feels like a high-end apartment -- big living space, sleek bathroom, and the soaking tub with a view is a game changer. Location is unbeatable since you're right in the middle of everything. Only downside? You may never want to leave the balcony. Love the Cosmo from their casino, restaurants, cocktail bars and nightlife is just my cup of tea. read more

Hard to complain about an over 1000 square foot room overlooking the Bellagio fountains... so I won't! This room is beautiful and sits on the 44th floor of the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Two bathrooms en-suite bedroom. Cool tub etc. nice and quiet as well which gets high marks from me. I've stayed in nice rooms other places that were so loud you simply could not get a good nights sleep. Checking in at the priority lounge was seamless and very pleasant. I feel very snuggled in here at the cosmopolitan and although it's my first time, it will not be my last. The slots were very good to us here as well.. Bravo Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino! read more

I had the BEST stay at the Cosmopolitan. From the moment I arrived, everything was amazing. The location is perfect you can easily walk right over to Aria for shopping, plus you're in the heart of all the action on the Strip. The casino has such a fun vibe, and there's no shortage of things to do. The butler was incredibly helpful--he stored our bags for us so we could enjoy breakfast at Eggslut without any hassle. It made our arrival stress-free and truly relaxing. The food options alone make this hotel worth it. The pool scene? Say no more. But the highlight was definitely my room. I had a fountain-view room overlooking the Bellagio fountains, and WOW! waking up and going to sleep to that view was unforgettable. read more
Really fun vibe here at this hotel, absolutely love our room with a balcony and the room was very spacious. We didn't love the smoke around the hotel, but I suppose that's what to expect when you're in Vegas. We got to try a bunch of restaurants here, there was no shortage of places to go and late night options. read more

Had the most amazing experience staying here . The view off the room balcony . The room was huge ! I get horrible migraines from the slightest smell of smoke. Did not have one issue . Did not smell smoke in this hotel or casino once. The pool was a blast . Nino the bartender was top notch! Drinks he made were amazing ! This will be the only hotel I stay at in Las Vegas ! read more
The hubby and I stayed at the Cosmopolitan for our anniversary weekend, and it was one of the best trips we ever had! At check-in, the registration agent completely made our weekend by surprising us with an upgrade to a wrap-around suite which hands-down has the best views of the strip and an added bonus of getting the best views to watch the Bellagio Fountain Water show. We were also treated to $300 in free casino play and $100 in dining credit which really elevated our stay and made us feel celebrated. We ended up using the $100 credit for room service breakfast on the morning of our anniversary .....and it was the perfect, relaxing way to start our special day! Lastly, the Cosmopolitan has an awesome mix of restaurants from casual bites to upscale dining, plus some great happy hour spots, so there's always something good to eat or drink without even needing to leave the property. This is hands down my favorite hotel in Vegas and I could literally spend my whole trip here. The Chandelier bar is gorgeous and great regrouping spot when you're figuring out your next move. Love all of the speakeasies, especially Ghost Donkey! The way to get there is very discreet and you won't know that it even exists. It's super small inside. Their drinks are delicious and the bartenders were friendly and chatted with us. The restaurant selections are also great from high end to the food court style spots, you have so much to choose from! But the biggest reason why I love the Cosmopolitan is because I almost lost an expensive purse I had purchased earlier that day. Like a silly goose I had left it at a table near the escalators when we were regrouping. As soon as I noticed I rushed to security who went above and beyond to find my purse! They check security cameras and hunted down whoever had my purse. I didn't even care that someone tried stealing it, I was just so thankful to have it back. I give their security team the ultimate praises. The Cosmopolitan has a returning guest for life! read more

Service: During check-in, the employee's pleasant demeanor changed instantly when I requested a high floor if possible. I was relieved that all the bell desk employees were helpful and nice. Room: The room was sub-par and not worth the price. The headboard reading light never turned off and we found someone had slipped a piece of folded-up packaging into its housing unit to try to block the light from lighting up the bedroom when all of the lights were supposed to be off. The Japanese soaking tub was too shallow to actually soak in unless you were maybe the height of a child (and I'm 5'4), and everywhere there were scuffed walls, ripped wallpaper, chunks missing from doorways, random wet spots on the carpet, and patio furniture was falling apart and burned. Also, the bed was sunk-in and uncomfortable. I have been wanted to stay here since it was built but always felt it was a little too expensive but since this trip was for our anniversary we decided to splurge a little. Having now stayed here, I will not be staying here again. It was a huge disappointment for a former Vegas local. The Cosmo's only saving graces were its location (close in proximity to other places) and the tasty food in their food court (Block 16). read more
This busy bustling hotel is sleek, stylish, and full of Vegas energy. the crystal chandeliers are something special and make it stand out from the rest on the strip. The rooms are spacious and if you're lucky you can get one with a balcony overlooking the Bellagio fountains. Cosmopolitan is definitely five-star in quality and service. You have multiple food places to choose from and the pools give the day club vibes which comes with the noise but that's what Vegas is all about right? Whether you're in Vegas for the nightlife, the extravagant food, or the shopping, the Cosmo has the best of Vegas. read more
I booked a two-night stay in a Terrace Suite for July 3-5 to enjoy the Fourth of July fireworks. We've stayed at the Cosmopolitan several times before, including in Terrace Suites with fountain views, so we were really looking forward to another memorable stay. Knowing it was a busy holiday weekend, I made every effort to request a better view well in advance. I called on June 25 to have a note added to our reservation requesting either a fountain view or, at the very least, a Strip view. After arriving in Las Vegas, I even stopped by the front desk a couple of days before check-in to ask if any upgrades might become available. I was told they couldn't guarantee anything but would note my request and recommended I come back early on check-in day. I followed their advice. I returned again late Thursday night to ask about availability and was told to complete an early pre-check-in because that would give me the best chance if rooms opened up. The next morning, I completed my pre-check-in around 8:30 a.m. The front desk confirmed fountain-view rooms were fully booked, which I completely understood. I then specifically asked for a Strip-view room instead, and they assured me they would note the request. When I finally checked into Room 2189, I was incredibly disappointed. Instead of a Strip view, the balcony overlooks the back of surrounding buildings, employee parking areas, rooftops, and mechanical equipment. You can barely catch a glimpse of the Strip only if you lean far over the balcony. For a room marketed around its terrace and views, this was a huge letdown-especially for a milestone anniversary and the Fourth of July, when we specifically wanted to enjoy the fireworks from our room. I immediately called the front desk and later spoke with the manager, Jonathan. He explained the hotel was fully booked and I even asked if there might be an opportunity to move rooms the following day, but I was told those rooms were already committed to other guests. While I understand a holiday weekend creates limited availability, what was disappointing is that I made multiple requests over several days, both by phone and in person, and still ended up with what felt like one of the least desirable views in the hotel. Jonathan did offer a $150 resort credit, which I ultimately accepted, but it didn't make up for missing the experience we specifically booked this stay to enjoy. The multiple attempts over the phone and in person to get at least a view of the strip not this crappy view!!! The Terrace Suite itself is spacious, clean, and well-designed, and I've had wonderful experiences at the Cosmopolitan in the past. My disappointment isn't with the room itself --it's with the lack of consideration for repeated guest requests and the overall customer service surrounding this stay. I'll be posting photos of the actual view so others can decide whether this particular room is worth booking. Unfortunately, for such an important occasion, this stay fell far short of expectations. I left feeling disappointed, and because of this experience, I'll likely choose another hotel for future trips to Las Vegas. read more
Attractions at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas include a beautiful 3-story crystal chandelier bar, a casino, multiple pools, a spa, and the popular Marquee Nightclub. Guests can also enjoy unique dining, themed bars, plus live entertainment and an art collection. My girlfriend and I came her several times over the past few days, attending different attractions here at the Cosmopolitan. From birthday dinner reservations at the amazing Beauty & Essex, to late night Pizza at Secret Pizza, to just enjoying a sweet treat at Milk Bar. Plus we had some late night drinks with friends at the bar in one of the high rollers sections of the casino. Then tried our luck on the casino floor for a nice $$$ return before going home. read more

The Cosmo is still my favorite hotel in Vegas! I first stayed here yeaaaars ago when I was a broke college dropout that enjoyed partying LOL and shared a room with x amount of friends (I won't disclose how many we crammed lol). 13 years later, I came back to celebrate my son's 4th birthday with my little family. Paid for a suite with my hard earned money hahaha how times have changed. I still love everything about the room, the view, the property, the amenities. We were upgraded to a fountain view and my son loved it so much. There are plenty of delicious restaurants in the hotel. I love how central Cosmo is to everything that we were interested in going to. read more

Ambiance - love the spaciousness of the hotel and the rooms. I also appreciated that they had several electric outlets. We have found this to be uncommon in many of the 5-star hotels we have stayed in. Our room was spacious such that it felt like we were in a home, rather than a hotel room. We had a large living room with a large sofa and the decor was hip. The hallways that led to the Bellagio were filled with large pictures of Hollywood in the 50's. Finally got the chance to stay at the reputable and iconic Cosmopolitan! We took the flat rate Taxi from Harry Reid to the Cosmo ($20). Super convenient, especially if you're arriving during normal day hours. Avoid those Uber/Lyft wait times. Check in was a breeze, I guess since we arrived in the late afternoon on a Thursday the check-in line wasn't insane. At the main check-in, you're right in front of the Chelsea Tower. We did not stay here, we were in the Boulevard Tower. I love that this tower is shorter, the walk to and from the elevator is nice a short. Casino is right downstairs and the same elevator can take you to the Mezzanine where the food hall and restaurants are. Easy access to everything! The Boulevard Tower is also close to the bridge to Planet Hollywood/Miracle Mile shops, and of course Walgreens. Picked up our water stash and energy drinks. Which leads me to the fact that they DO provide a small fridge in their rooms. A must for me whenever we're in Vegas (I might be a little spoiled now). The Terrace One Bedroom Suite is what we stayed in. Spacious couch and living room area leads to a dressing area with lots of closet space. The bathroom is huge, dual vanity with shower that leads to a Japanese style tub. The interesting part of this tub, it leads straight to the bedroom, or the bedroom leads straight to the tub?? And as the name states, it offers a terrace to enjoy the strip views, and lucky for us we had the fountain view! Typically we don't call on service, but during our visit the ice machine on our floor was not working, no big deal, went to another floor to get ice. However, the last night I tried to get ice, they locked the doors and I was stuck in the stairs on the 35th floor. Security was quick to come get me and help me to another floor to grab "some" ice....none of these ice machines on the immediate floors were working. Thank goodness for the fridge! No harm, this isn't a complaint on the hotel, it happens. Last thing to note, Momofuku, STK, Henry, Egg Slut are all my absolute favorite restaurants in the Cosmo and I would easily choose to stay here again on our next visit. read more

The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas is easily one of my favorite properties on the Strip. I love how compact it feels compared to its neighbors, which makes getting around refreshingly easy. The layout is intuitive, the energy is great, and nothing ever feels too far away. The rooms are spacious, and the balconies overlooking the Strip and Bellagio fountains are a huge highlight that never gets old. Being right in the middle of all the action just adds to the appeal and makes the whole stay feel effortless and fun. read more

Loved our stay at The Cosmopolitan! Super sexy vibe and exactly what I was looking for in my 50th birthday trip to Vegas. Perfect size -- big enough that there's always something to do, but small enough that you're not walking a marathon from the elevators to the outside. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the Strip. Our room was amazing -- 47th floor with a balcony overlooking the Bellagio fountains. Absolutely breathtaking view! Room service was fantastic too -- quick service with remaking our room and towels. Even organized our bathroom stuff and placed neatly on countertop towels. The bars were fun (expect around $25 per drink), and it's super convenient that you can walk right out the back door to the Strip -- even grab cheap drinks at Walgreens if you want to save a little. We caught the Daniel Tosh show at The Chelsea, which was hilarious. Pro tip: the room elevators are literally right outside the theater -- we didn't realize until after we walked all the way back to the check-in elevators. The only downside was the customer service. It wasn't terrible, but it definitely felt a little cold. We booked through the AMEX Fine Hotels & Resorts program (which came with a few nice perks like breakfast credit), but it seemed like that didn't sit well with staff. When I asked to have my MGM Rewards number added for points, I was told no -- apparently I'd "already gotten enough perks through American Express Platinum." Not exactly the response you hope for at a 5-star property. Overall though, an incredible stay -- beautiful room, great amenities, and unbeatable location. I'd absolutely stay here again when visiting the Strip. read more
Now let me start off by saying... this review is strictly for the casino and restaurant only. I haven't stayed at the hotel, yet! That said, I was pleasantly surprised by how pretty and aesthetically pleasing this casino was. The lighting, chandeliers, and the way the entrances were designed, just gorgeous. It gave off a very luxe vibe without being over the top. They had a solid variety of casino games, and one huge bonus in my book: it didn't smell like an ashtray. Always a win in Vegas. I didn't really interact with any of the staff, so I can't speak to the service, but nothing stood out in a bad way. I definitely want to come back and stay here next time I'm in Vegas. If the rooms are anything like the lobby areas, I have a feeling I'll be impressed. read more

The gaming are high dollar slots and I couldn't locate any $1 or $2 machines as they are mostly 5-9 coins but still a great selection. The Cosmopolitan is one of the nicest casinos on the Vegas Strip. They have hidden speakeasy's, nice chandelier bar, Marquee club, the pool, and good restaurants. It's centrally located which also means busy and more expensive. Comparing room prices this place is at the very top! If you do stay here, make sure you get a room with the strip views or go to the Boulevard pool for the best photo ops with the views. We come here every so often as locals, so my tips are to check out the speakeasy's and make reservations such as Ghost Donkey which is tiny with mostly tequila near Block 16 and the Barbershop on the first floor that is dim but spacious. If you're a female, reach out to a promoter on IG to get into Marquee club before 12am. For food, I recommend affordable Block 16 which has various eats like Tekka sushi hand rolls or Hattie B's. Wicked Spoon buffet is awesome but only early hours no dinner. Eggslut for breakfast is a Los Angeles eatery and very packed so go early. If you're playing the slots, be sure to get a players card which is MGM Brand. If you play enough aka donating basically haha you can get comped free rooms. My most recent visit was for an Unwell weekend event with Call Her Daddy Alex Cooper that was amaaaazing I highly recommend you check her out for the next event and meet other Daddy Gang members. So this casino is great if you want to hold a conference or large scale event. Stunning property, but the service is missing a soul The hotel facilities and rooms are undeniably beautiful, but the service is a massive letdown. The "Broken Phone" Saga: On our first day, the room phone cut out while I was speaking to the front desk about badges. They actually called my cell to say, "Your room phone isn't working," but then... nothing. They didn't bother to notify maintenance. I had to call via my cell phone three more times to request a repair and service. Each time, I waited hours with zero updates. When I asked the front desk for an ETA, the response was a cold "I don't know, it depends on housekeeping"--technically true, but delivered with zero empathy. The phone wasn't "fixed" until the second evening when I no longer needed it. Because of this, I spent my first night stuck in the room waiting for help that never came. Ironically, housekeeping showed up to clean at 10 PM, at which point I had to explain yet again that I couldn't reach them because of the phone. The restaurant Henry's reception gave off a 'take it or leave it' vibe that was quite unwelcoming. But I want to give a special commendation to one of the valet attendants, Paul. On our third day, he was the only person who showed genuine warmth. He proactively told us we could have our car charged for free while parked. He was the only staff member who made us feel welcome. Plus: On the day we checked out, Matt at valet was also super friendly and helpful. He happened to be on the same morning shift as Paul, and thanks to both of them, we felt truly well-taken care of. read more

WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE!!!!!! DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!!!! I have been staying here for 7+ years and I always swore by this hotel, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. I was advised by my father that since bought by MGM, it had gone down hill, but every experience I've had here was a good one so I decided to risk it. I'm so sad I did. We arrived and IMMEDIATELY had issues. I had paid with Afterpay for the deposit, and when we arrived they said we needed to have the card present. Why would you allow people to use Afterpay, etc. if they wouldn't be able to have it accepted????? They said that they did not know how to make it work, and eventually they allowed it. I told them "this credit card is $1000 open on it , does that cover the amount you'll place a hold for?" I was planning to use another payment at check out. I had it all planned and budgeted as a responsible person would... and the manager CHRIS , makes a comment asking that if we made a charge to the room would we have enough money to pay for it because some people run up a tab and then don't pay. How dare you insinuate that we do not have money to pay! How dare you assume that???? I was so distraught in that moment I wasn't even realizing how offensive that was. Due to the length of time this interaction took, we did not make it to our dinner plans nor our night plans afterwards. A whole entire day wasted. All thanks to CHRIS. We went up to the room and my friend tried to take a shower just to find out that the water wouldn't run cold, only hot. She called down to the front desk where she spoke to another RUDE crew member, Chanel. Chanel gave a complete attitude and was extremely condescending. What a great start to the trip we've been waiting months to come on. We go back downstairs to speak with CHRIS. Where he says it's standard to ask guests if they have enough money to pay. What a joke. He switches our room again. Just to find out that there is MOLD in the shower that smells like a dead rat. So now we are in room #3. All of our plans have been destroyed, we have been treated like garbage, disrespected and no one has heard our complaints seriously. We were extremely distraught and it really ruined our trip. Now in room #3, the mirrors, sink and doors are covered in hand prints and gunk. And guess what???? THE DOOR DOES NOT LOCK!!!! Imagine girls alone in a room with a door that doesn't lock!!!!!!!!!! So finally we get through to a manager, Alexis, who hears us out and actually seems to take things seriously and sends someone at 3am to change the locks. This was the worst experience I have ever had in Vegas. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. This place is a COMPLETE nightmare. In the end, there was a manager I believe her name was Neisha who did make it right and I am very appreciative for that, but it did not make up for the ruined trip we had. I would've rather paid the extra $500 each we got back and have enjoyed my trip. Very sad, very discouraging. read more
