I recently tried seven different flavors from this cookie company, and every single one was absolutely delicious! Each cookie had the perfect balance of flavor, texture, and sweetness without being overwhelming. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients--soft on the inside, slightly crisp on the edges, and full of rich flavor in every bite. Definitely my new go to spot! oh and pumpkin is my favorite!

The loaded oat cookie! So good!

My friend and I came about an hour before they were closing and thankfully there was plenty of seating! I ordered the salted maple latte with oat milk, but the rose vanilla sounded equally enticing! The customer service was upbeat and friendly. Our drinks were made promptly without sacrificing the quality. I loved how well balanced the drink was and the maple flavor really came through! It also wasn't overly salted and had just the right amount of sweetness. It was rich, indulgent and creamy. It had the perfect amount of caffeine to leave me feeling energized without the jitteriness. My friend ordered a tea and pastry and raved about hers. The seating was pretty comfortable and the ambiance was great. I liked how it wasn't too noisy, so we were able to hear one another easily. The cafe is nice and bright with gorgeous paintings on the wall and motivating quotes written beside them. They have a small shared lot that can be pretty tight to get in and out of, especially when there's large vehicles parked there. Thankfully, since it was the end of the day and most of the other businesses were closed, I was able to get in and out easily, with plenty of spots available! I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area and in need of a tasty caffeinated beverage!

There is not a lot of sitting, more of a grab and go type place. We tried their hojicha, matcha and iced coffee. They were all okay-ish. I got the matcha, I can't speak in details about the other two. But I was told they were all more milk than anything. The matcha was okay. I can't say it was a high quality matcha, I felt like I was drinking oat milk and ice. The service was good, they looked a bit under staffed or maybe too many people walked in. Initially they had one person making the drinks and simultaneously on the cashiers. Then a second staff joined in to help. But overall pretty friendly despite the circumstances.

CINNAMON ROLL. That is all. I'm sure all their other stuff is amazing but this was the one thing…read morethat ruled them all. Tbh I don't even remember the other pastries, aside from the viral prince pizza collab that we also got. Usually cinnamon rolls are soft all around; theirs is crispy on the outside rolled layer and soft on the inside layers, which gives it a unique delicious profile. There's probably a ton of butter and sugar in both to last you for a week, so I'd recommend going on a diet before having many of their pastries. Parking is limited and there's often a line. I came at 3pm once and there was no line but not many items left, except for the cinnamon roll. The shop itself is small, and service was okay.

The pastries were good, but nothing that really impressed me or made me feel they were worth the hype. One thing to keep in mind is that some of their menu items are seasonal, so if you're driving from far away for something specific, I'd recommend calling ahead to make sure it's available. The service was good, but it wasn't especially memorable. Also, there's no seating, so it's more of a grab-and-go spot. The biggest downside was the parking. The lot is extremely crowded, and many spaces have a strict 30-minute limit. Be careful, because it looks like towing is enforced. Overall, it was a decent experience, but for me, it wasn't anything extraordinary.

Sweet Demi Lune Bakery & Café…read more Sweet Demi Lune Bakery & Café reminded me that we live for the wonderful experiences that remain to be discovered. After a wonderful lunch date with my wife at Raffi's Place (please read my review and thank me later) in Glendale, I decided to look for the perfect dessert. After scouting several nearby locations, I decided I was in the mood for a great cinnamon roll. Sweet Demi Lune Bakery & Café looked like the place that would deliver the experience I was seeking. SDLBC is listed as being in Glendale, but it's located in the historic Old Town of Montrose. That's beside the point; I only mention it because there are additional places to explore just up the street. We arrived around 3:00 p.m. on a Saturday, and there wasn't much of a selection left, including the highly sought-after cinnamon roll. The gentleman behind the counter greeted us warmly, and I immediately asked if that was all the pastries they had. He said yes. I contemplated leaving because of the nonexistent cinnamon roll, but I didn't want to be rude, so I decided to give the bakery a try since we were already there. So, we basically took half of what remained behind the glass display case: a Peach Almond Croissant, a Raspberry Pistachio Croissant, an Almond Croissant, and then my curiosity focused on a few lonely-looking pastries that were unfamiliar to my discerning eyes. I asked the gentleman what they were, and he replied with something that sounded completely foreign to me: Kouign-Amann. Kouign-Amann (pronounced queen ah-MAHN) is a traditional pastry from the region of Brittany, France. It is often considered one of the richest pastries in the world because it is made with just a few simple ingredients in generous proportions: bread dough, butter, and sugar. Figuring we needed a few more sweets for the road, we took all the remaining Kouign-Amanns. Two were the traditional version, and the other two were filled with crème and blueberry jam. We also ordered a Café Americano and a Café Mocha. While we waited for our drinks, I simply couldn't wait any longer. Like a kid on Christmas morning, I eagerly opened my gift and dug right into the Kouign-Amann. Hesitantly, I tore off a tiny piece with my fingers, expecting nothing extraordinary, and instantly gave birth to a brand-new experience that exploded in my mouth. The crisp exterior gave way to the soft, flaky center, followed by waves of what tasted like delicate honey. I tore off another piece and shared it with my wife. One look at her eyes told me she wanted more. By the time our drinks were ready, we had devoured one of the Kouign-Amanns and confessed to the gentleman behind the counter that we had just experienced pure ecstasy in the form of a pastry. Kouign-Amann is, in fact, one of the richest pastries in the world, so don't let the unfamiliar name keep you from trying one. The Café Americano and the Café Mocha were also exceptionally well prepared. With everything that's happening in the world these days, a simple yet profound experience like this reminded me how wonderful life can still be. Like Arnold said... "I'll be back." Enjoy!

I love the indoor seating, but they also have outdoor seating. I washed it down with a short Americano, two shots and I threw in some extra cream. It's delicious. The coffee has a nice mild flavor, but nothing beats the sweets. I have to tell you this chocolate mousse cake is the right portion otherwise I would eat the whole thing in this case the powers that be more wise and gave me a slice and Man was it delicious.
